Duchess Catherine shops in Gap for Prince George

Britain's Duchess Catherine shopped in Gap for baby George yesterday (31.03.14).
The 32-year-old royal was accompanied by at least three bodyguards as she made her way to the nearest branch of the store, 500 yards away from her Kensington Palace home, where she bought items for the eight-month-old prince - who she has with Prince William.
According to the Mail Online, the brunette beauty spent £126.44, and her purchases included a checked bodysuit for £12.95, grey and navy striped trousers for £8.95, and denim shorts costing £14.95.
The duchess queued behind other customers waiting to pay, before she left from the side entrance.
William and Catherine - known as Kate Middleton before she married into the Royal Family - are leaving for their tour of Australia and New Zealand later this month and are making plans to ensure their tiny tot adjusts well.
They are planning to stay at the Government House in Wellington, Admiralty House in Sydney and Government House in Canberra during their three-week tour and George is expected to have his own room at the three residences, while they stay in a guest suite next door, and nanny Maria Borrallo will be nearby.
A source previously said: "The Duke and Duchess are anything but demanding, but there are lots of things that George will need and all the hosts are keen to do everything they can to provide what's necessary.
"The couple's main concern is that George should feel completely content and at home and that Maria should also have everything she needs to keep him happy."

James Middleton’s parents hoped he’d graduate

James Middleton admits his parents didn't want him to drop out of university.
The brother of the Duchess of Cambridge attended Edinburgh University following his time at Marlborough College but decided to leave after the first year since he didn't feel it was right for him, even though his parents Carole and Michael had hoped he'd graduate.
He told the Evening Standard newspaper: "My parents were very keen for me to stay. I'd done resits during my year out because my initial grades weren't good enough, so they saw that I'd worked harder than hard to get there."
James - who co-founded Boomf, a service which offers to print Instagram photographs on to marshmallows - doesn't regret the choice he made and insists he can still succeed without a degree.
He added: "But as an adult it was my first big decision and I'm so pleased with it because it's given me confidence in decisions I've made since. There is a lot of pressure put on people to go to university, when actually, as long as you are driven about what you want to do, it's not the be all and end all."
James got a spaniel, Ella, after he dropped out to give him something to care and be responsible for.
He explained: "She [Ella] was my post-university responsibility. When I dropped out I needed something to help me focus, to get me up in the morning."

Coronation Street bosses hire new beauty Sair Khan

'Coronation Street' bosses have hired Sair Khan to boost the soap's glamour.
The 26-year-old actress, whose only prior TV role was an appearance on 'Doctors', has been selected by bosses of the ITV soap as they hope she will be able to attract as much male attention as the departing stunner who plays Tina McIntyre.
Sair will be part of the first Muslim family to ever feature in the Manchester based soap and will play Alya, the daughter of personal trainer Khalid "Kal" Nazir played by former 'EastEnders' star Jimi Mistry.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Alya is a good-looking girl who has just graduated from university and is back living with her family.
"She mixes brains and beauty so you can imagine there are going to be a few of the men of Weatherfield who will be interested in her.
"Alya is both intelligent and intriguing when she comes in."
Although Sair has more experience in theatre than television, she is said to have impressed in her auditions and as Michelle is set to be killed off next month, less than two years after fellow beauty Helen Flanagan abandoned her role as Sophie Webster, bosses are reportedly keen to introduce some new eye candy.
The source added: "Despite limited experience, Sair did brilliantly in auditions and now we just can't wait for her and the rest of the new family to get started."
Sair's first scenes will be aired in June.

Timothy West’s injury written into EastEnders plot

Timothy West's real-life injury has been written into 'EastEnders'.
The 79-year-old actor's broken ankle inspired soap bosses to concoct a storyline for his cantankerous alter-ego Stan Carter, which will see tensions grow when his injury forces him to move into the Queen Vic with his landlord son Mick, played by Danny Dyer.
He told The Sun newspaper: "It was because of my own real injury, a broken ankle. When I did that, 'EastEnders' wrote in an accident for Stan.
"Having your ankle pinned means you spend quite a lot of time in plaster."
The stage star is enjoying his new role on the BBC One soap and finds getting to grips with his character's back-story "fascinating".
Timothy said: "It's all so complicated but we are finding out more about their past history. I'm constantly being surprised by new developments. It is all fascinating."
The actor previously revealed he was glad to be given the opportunity to breathe new life into the long-running show's older generation.
He explained: "I find [older characters are] not valued so much and I suspect that's one of the reasons why I've been brought. From what I hear, there hasn't been enough interest in older characters.
"Or enough older characters to be interested in. I do, though, have enormous respect for June Brown [Dot Cotton]."

Lydia Bright returns to The Only Way is Essex

Lydia Bright is returning to 'The Only Way is Essex'.
The bubbly brunette - who was on the reality TV show from 2010 until 2012 - will make an explosive arrival in tomorrow night's (02.04.14) finale when she turns up to cause trouble for her deceiving ex-boyfriend James 'Arg' Argent.
The 22-year-old beauty, who split up with the funnyman two years ago, wants answers after Arg, 26, revealed in his autobiography 'Living it Arg' that he cheated on Lydia with his former co-star Amy Childs a few years ago.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Lydia came down to Jess Wright and Ricky's party on Sunday night (30.03.14), and she finally came face to face with Arg.
"The Amy thing really upset her because she felt like she was being paranoid at the time when she suspected Arg.
"But now she knows her worst fears were genuine. It's been difficult for her to think about, even though it was ages ago."
Meanwhile, bosses are hopeful Lydia's return will encourage viewers to stay hooked on the programme after Mark Wright left in 2011, Joey Essex quit last year and Sam Faiers is rumoured to be bowing out this year.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "The show has lost some big characters like Mark Wright and Joey Essex and now with Sam going, they need to make sure 'TOWIE' stays on top.
"People do come back. Lydia will be the first familiar face to return."

Made In Chelsea’s Spencer Matthews ‘northern at heart’

Made In Chelsea's Spencer Matthews is "northern at heart".
The 25-year-old reality TV star, who usually frequents the posh Kings Road area of west London, has admitted that he developed a soft spot for northern characters when he lived in his dad's home county, Yorkshire.
Quizzed on his favourite flavour of crisps, he said: "Has to be salt and vinegar. I'm originally from Sheffield, so, of course, I've had crisp sandwiches. I got sent to a posh school [Eton] so that's why I speak like this. I'm actually northern at heart."
Despite confessing that he prefers his swanky lifestyle in the English capital, he claimed that he occasionally visits his home town as "there's nothing wrong" with it.
He told The Sun newspaper: "I occasionally go there [to Sheffield] but not really. I have to say I prefer stuff down here [in London] but I love the characters up there.
"There's nothing wrong with Sheffield. I just personally prefer it down here."
The notorious womaniser also claimed that his northern roots helped him to perfect his boxing skills.
He added: "I have been involved in a fist fight - it's completely normal that. I'm pretty sure my last one was in Sheffield."
Spencer and his 'Made In Chelsea' co-stars are heading to New York to film for a six-part series which will air on E4 this summer and he's admitted he's excited to see how the new surroundings will affect the cast.
He said: "We will get some American characters in. Everyone will have a different way about them so it will be interesting to see how that reflects on the show."

Johnny Depp claims music is a ‘lifesaver’

Johnny Depp says making music is a "lifesaver".
The Hollywood star's "first love" was rock 'n' roll after getting a guitar aged just 12 and after years devoted to his film career, the 'Rum Diary' actor claims he's never felt better now he's back in the studio making music with the likes of Ryan Adams and Marcus Mumford.
In a special chat for Interview magazine conducted by Iggy Pop, Johnny - who opened for the godfather of Punk with his old band the Kids as a teenager - revealed how music has changed his life.
He explained: "I've been playing a lot of music lately. It's a real lifesaver, being able to focus on my first love. It's freedom. And immediate - yeah, f**k, we captured it. I suppose that's it, capturing something.
"I've been writing and recording with Ryan Adams a lot lately. Ryan is incredibly prolific and he's just a pure soul, he's just this being. He's got a great handle on it. And is taking good care of himself. But what a talent, man. I'm amazed by the f**ker.
"And then, here and there I'm doing some stuff with Alice [Cooper], which is really fun. Also with Marcus Mumford, who's amazing."
The 50-year-old actor - who is engaged to actress Amber Heard - and Iggy next met on the set of 'Cry-Baby' in 1990 and have been firm friends and collaborators ever since, but the 'Edward Scissorhands' star reminded him that their first meeting didn't go quite so well.
He told his musical idol: "After the gig you were walking around the club, and I was standing at the bar, all of 17 years old, guzzling as much spirits as I could to get up the nerve to talk to you. And I remember making the horrific decision in my teenage drunken state to go, 'Well, I'll just get his attention.'
"I started going, 'I-I-Iggy Pop, Piggy Slop', you know? You walked towards me and put your face about a quarter of an inch from mine and just went, 'You little turd.' And not only was it exactly the reaction that I deserved, but it was the one I wanted. I had a moment with you."

Michelle Williams relaxes with musicals

Michelle Williams finds singing and dancing "like meditation".
The 33-year-old actress found filming a musical number for 'My Week with Marilyn' stopped her worrying about her performance and she was delighted to be asked to play Sally Bowles in a Broadway revival of 'Cabaret' as she knew she'd be able to experience the same freedom again.
She said: "Singing and dancing take you out of your head--you're too busy doing too many other things to be thinking, How am I doing? You're just doing. It's like meditation.
"When 'Cabaret' came along, with these gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous songs -- they're so simple, but they tap into something deep and emotional -- I knew that I wanted to follow that thing I tasted a few years ago."
Michelle - who has eight-year-old daughter Matilda with her late former partner Heath Ledger - is enjoying every second of rehearsals for the production - but doesn't know if she'll feel the same once her nerves kick in.
Speaking to America's Vogue magazine, she said: "I haven't been confronted with the nerves yet, so now the singing is just pure joy.
"Honestly, it feels like being a kid. Now let's see if I can be a kid onstage eight times a week."
Michelle said: "A friend told me that when Natasha was debating whether or not to do this role, her mother said, 'Darling, when they ask you to play Sally Bowles, you play Sally Bowles'.
"So I pretended that Vanessa Redgrave was my mother and followed her advice -- who knows when the chance will come around again?"

Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino lands new show

Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino has landed a new reality show.
The former 'Jersey Shore' star will be joined by members of his family in 'The Sorrentinos', an eight-episode programme commissioned by TVGN, formerly the TV Guide Network, and is described as a "docu-comedy".
The show will feature Mike, his mother Linda and siblings Melissa, Frank and Marc and the reality star - who checked into rehab to be treated for an addiction to prescription drugs in 2012 - says it will focus mainly on his efforts to establish an ongoing TV career, as well as his attempts to stay clean.
Mike said: "The reality of the situation is ... for the first time, fans and the general public, will be able to see and, well, meet Michael Sorrentino.
"This next chapter of my life is about sobriety and family, and I'm stoked to take people on this journey with us."
Brad Schwartz, president of entertainment for TVGN, told Entertainment Weekly: "We're excited to take viewers, who met Mike in a very different time and place of his life, and bring them along for this ride with 'The Sorrentinos'.
"Family is everything and it's something people universally come back to no matter who you are and what you do. Fame just makes the stakes higher and more public."
Filming is scheduled to begin in New Jersey this week, though no air date has been set yet.

Janice Dickinson reaches debt agreement

Janice Dickinson has had her debts reduced because she can't afford to pay.
The 59-year-old model - who declared herself bankrupt last April - has reached an agreement with City National Bank, who claim she owes more than $300,000 in connection with overdrafts, that will see her pay just a third of the debt.
In bankruptcy documents obtained by TMZ, the bank say it would be difficult to reclaim the whole amount "due to debtor's age, lack of assets and lack of income" so have agreed she will pay off $10,000 and the remainder over a three-year payment plan.
The paperwork also states that the former 'America's Next Top Model' judge's fiance, psychologist Dr. Robert Gerner, can pay off the debt for her.
When she declared herself bankrupt, Janice had debts of close to $1 million, which included unpaid taxes and cosmetic surgery bills.
At the time of her filing, the outspoken star owed more than $8,000 to Beverly Hills dermatologist Arnold Klein and was more than $8,000 in debt with the Beverly Hills Anti-Aging Center.
Janice also had unpaid taxes of more than $500,000 dating back a decade, which were due to California, New York and the Internal Revenue Service.
