Andy Serkis to appear in Avengers: Age of Ultron

Andy Serkis has confirmed he will appear in 'Avengers: Age of Ultron'.
The 'Star Wars: Episode VII' actor - who is already working on the sequel as a consultant through his motion-capture company The Imaginarium' - has revealed he will also be making an appearance in the film.
He told Variety: "The Imaginarium is the performance capture consultant and I'm playing a role in both Avengers and Star Wars."
However, when asked if his face will appear in the Marvel follow-up, he explained: "I'm not at liberty to mention. But it's all the same to me. I've never drawn a distinction when playing a role, whether it be live action or performance capture.
"Acting is acting. It's just basically what you wear to the set that's different."
The 50-year-old actor also spoke about working closely alongside Mark Ruffalo after he was hired to assist the 46-year-old with his portrayal of The Hulk for the comic book blockbuster.
He said: "On Avengers, I've been working closely with Mark Ruffalo.
"There are tools and ways of working with an actor that makes them feel that they own the character, and a character the size of the Hulk needs ownership, which Mark has now."
'Avengers: Age of Ultron' will be released in the UK on April 24 2015, while 'Star Wars: Episode VII' will be released in December 2015.

Carrie Fisher’s daughter cast in Star Wars

Carrie Fisher's daughter has been cast in 'Star Wars: Episode VII'.
The 57-year-old actress reprises her role as Princess Leia in the upcoming latest instalment of the sci-fi series, which is currently being filmed at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, southeast England.
And although her daughter Billie Lourd is a relative unknown, director J.J. Abrams is said to have chosen her to play a young version of her mother's character because of their visual similarities.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Billie flew into the UK to join her mother earlier this month.
"She will even have her hair tied up in Princess Leia-style buns. She's an aspiring actress and singer so she grabbed the opportunity with both hands.
"Carrie backed the move as she wanted somebody in her family to play her most famous role."
Lourd - whose father is entertainment agent Bryan Lourd - will feature in flashback scenes as a younger version of Princess Leia, hero Luke Skywalker's sister, whom her mother portrayed in the first three 'Star Wars' films.
Meanwhile, Abrams has also created walk-on parts for his father Gerald and father-in law James H. McGrath Jr., who both appeared in 'Star Trek' under his direction.

James Gunn ‘terrified’ of releasing Guardians of the Galaxy

James Gunn is "terrified" about the upcoming release of 'Guardians of the Galaxy'.
The 43-year-old director of the Marvel Comics film has admitted he's nervous about finally finishing the production and seeing it enter cinemas on August 1 as he's spent every waking moment working on the project for the last two years.
In a message posted on his Facebook page, Gunn said: "This is essentially my last week of actually making Guardians of the Galaxy.
"It's been two years straight and I've starting to become terrified of actually having to STOP."
Gunn also wrote the script for the film - which expands the Marvel universe into the cosmos, where adventurer Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) finds himself the object of a bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb - and he's confessed he'll be emotional to say goodbye to the cast and crew when production comes to an end.
He explained: "I'm starting to get very sad every time I think of how I'm going to miss all of the people I've been working with side-by-side for the past two years."
Pratt will be joined by fellow actors Bradley Cooper, Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel, Karen Gillan and Benicio del Toro in 'Guardians of the Galaxy, and Gunn has revealed that he could be planning a sequel.
He added: "I swear, I've gotten angry with filmmakers like Ridley Scott and George Lucas who can't let go of their old films and want to keep going back and offering up different versions, but I can easily see myself doing that now."

Ed Sheeran struggles to find a place in his life for girlfriends

Ed Sheeran says he "shouldn't bother" having girlfriends.
The 'Burn' singer opened up about the difficulties of keeping up a long distance relationship and insists it's not worth the trouble if a girl isn't "OK" with him putting his career and family first.
He told Spotify: "You put your family and your friends first, always, and then your career second. But when you date someone, they kind of fall in between the family and friends and career, and you don't really know whether they're more important than the career or whether they're more important than family. You just need to find someone that's OK with it.
"My family understands I had to go away for 12 months last year, but until you find a partner who's happy with that, you shouldn't even bother. Well, you shouldn't bother committing."
Ed, 23, even penned a song for his latest album 'x' entitled 'Nina' to express the difficulty he faced when trying to find a balance between his career and relationship with his ex-girlfriend singer/songwriter Nina Nesbitt.
He said: "That's about my ex-girlfriend [Nina Nesbitt], we dated for a year.
"When you're a musician and you date someone, there's always an in-between... so this is a song about that."
However, the Brit Award-winner - who played at this year's Glastonbury festival over the weekend and will embark on a UK tour later this year - is hoping to settle down in the future and thinks having children will change his priorities.
He explained: "I think by the time you have kids, that's when your family comes first, and that's where the woman comes, because she's your family now. I think kids change everything, but up until then it's different. "

Kasabian close Glastonbury festival

Kasabian closed Glastonbury festival with a bang on Sunday night (29.06.14).
The rockers brought the festival held at Worthy Farm in Somerset, South West England, to an epic crescendo with a fast-paced set bursting with classic tunes including 'Underdog', 'Fire' and 'Empire'.
The Leicester band began with 'Bumblebee' from their new album '48:13', while a series of random words including 'Voucher', 'Canister' and 'Dhalsim' were displayed on a pink screen behind them.
Frontman Tom Meighan, clad in a white tuxedo and bow tie, addressed the crowd by shouting, "Hello Glastonbury, how are you!"
The band launched into fan favourites like 'Shoot The Runner', which featured a sample of Kanye West's 'Black Skinhead' and 'Processed Beats', interspersed with new album songs including 'Stevie'.
At one point, guitarist Serge Pizzorno performed a bluesy cover of Gnarls Barkley's 'Crazy' with just a guitar and a trumpet, while Tom left the stage for a break.
The 50,000-strong crowd were treated to a surprise appearance from 'Mighty Boosh' joker Noel Fielding during 'Vlad The Impaler'.
Dressed in a turban with blood streaked across his face, Noel bounded across the stage in a cape as Tom chanted "Bobby Womack see you on the other side", a tribute to the legendary soul singer who passed away on Friday (27.06.14).
Kasabian finished their stellar set with a cover of Fatboy Slim's 'Praise You' and 'L.S.F'.
A visibly emotional Tom said: "Ten years ago we opened The Other Stage - we'd been up all night of course. Seriously, thank you for this."

Michael Eavis: Glastonbury 2015 headliners are booked

Michael Eavis has already booked next year's Glastonbury headliners.
The 78-year-old festival promoter has closed deals with three big acts for next year's event, including a non-British band whose manager signed a contract while watching Metallica headline this year's Glastonbury on Saturday night (28.06.14).
However, Michael denied the foreign act is music icon Prince, but he is eager to have the 56-year-old star headline in future.
He said: "We're always having a go at Prince. Most of the people in the world want to play here, so I did ask him to hop on the train and come down to Castle Cary station and I'll show him around the farm some time. It hasn't been taken up yet though."
Michael, who organises the festival with his daughter Emily Eavis, thinks the music event has "still got a few years in it" but admits he may bow out of running it in 2020 - which marks Glastonbury's 50th anniversary.
He is quoted by The Guardian newspaper as saying: "I think I can run on another six years, which would take me up to 50 years, then [I'll] see what happens after that."
This year's Glastonbury festival drew more than 100,000 revellers who flocked to see headliners Metallica, Kasabian and Arcade Fire, as well as other big acts such as Dolly Parton, Ed Sheeran and Lana Del Rey.

Stevie Wonder pays tribute to Bobby Womack at London Calling

Stevie Wonder paid tribute to the late Bobby Womack as he closed the Calling Festival in London on Sunday night (29.06.14).
The soul legend sent his "condolences" to Bobby's grieving family following his passing last Friday (27.06.14) at the age of 70 and then covered his track 'If You Think You're Lonely Now' at the music event held on Clapham Common.
Speaking to the crowd, Stevie said: "It's always a painful thing when we lose someone in this industry, but each time we lose someone, we can say we are left with their musical history ... I want to give my condolences to his family and hope that he is in the best place spiritually. Please give a hand to Bobby Womack.
"We picked out a song we thought was appropriate."
At the beginning of his set, Stevie came on stage playing his signature keytar and as he stepped out the dark clouds and showers which had been threatening to dampen spirits cleared and the sun shone on him and his thousands of fans, a sign of "God's love" according to the musician.
The 64-year-old star performed a hit-filled set with highlights including 'Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours', 'Sir Duke', 'Master Blaster' and 'Sunshine of My Life'.
At one stage Stevie led the crowd in an A cappella version of 'Ebony and Ivory' - the track about racial harmony he recorded with Sir Paul McCartney in 1982 - and a sing-along to 'My Cherie Amour'.
He later joked with the crowd by claiming he was actually British and just looked like Stevie Wonder.
Speaking in an English accent, he said: "I'm English actually, I'm from Brixton ... Most people think I'm Stevie Wonder ... People say, 'Why don't you sing like Stevie Wonder? So I learnt his accent."
Stevie closed his set with fan favourite 'Superstition' and before he exited the stage he told the cheering crowd "remember I love you, thank you" and then took a bow with his band and backing singers.
Other performers at the festival included Paloma Faith and Jack Johnson, while Aerosmith headlined the event on Saturday (28.06.14).

Prince Harry thinks Prince George looks like Winston Churchill

Prince Harry has called his nephew Prince George a "young Winston Churchill".
The 29-year-old royal was celebrating the Queen's official birthday in Santiago, Chile, when he revealed to radio presenter Virginia Araya that the 11-month-old's "chubby cheeks" reminded him of the former Prime Minister.
Virginia told US Weekly: "I asked him what George was like. He said, 'He's growing up. He is walking, and he has big, chubby cheeks. He looks like a young Winston Churchill.'"
Harry - who gave a speech during the celebration focussing on his experiences in South America - previously visited Brazil's notorious 'Crackland' during his stay in the country for the 2014 FIFA World Cup last week.
The royal heir was left emotionally raw after a chaotic trip to the infamous area of Sao Paulo dubbed 'Cracolandia', where the drug is sold for 80p a rock.
Harry met with recovering addicts enrolled in a controversial government programme which helps them turn their lives around by giving them a hostel bed, meals and jobs as morning street cleaners for £4 a day, as well as taking courses in the afternoon.
The prince tried to keep his cool as he chatted to the addicts via an interpreter and asked questions about their unfortunate circumstances.

Michelle Keegan hits out at online bullies

Michelle Keegan has labelled online bullies "weird" for attacking her over the internet.
The former 'Coronation Street' star - who has fallen victim to Twitter trolls in the past - admitted she no longer takes notice of nasty remarks posted online and thinks her internet bullies have "no life".
She told Digital Spy: "It's weird. It's strange. I used to [read the comments] when I was younger and get affected by them. That's only natural starting off in the industry.
"I think as you progress and get older you start to learn that if they're doing that, they've got no life. Slagging people off [who] they don't know is not very nice."
The 27-year-actress - who played Tina McIntyre on the ITV soap from 2008 until her character was killed off earlier this month - also revealed that the intense filming schedule leading up to her final scenes has left no time for her to plan her upcoming wedding to former 'TOWIE' star Mark Wright.
She said: "I've been so busy with Coronation Street that I've literally done nothing. The only thing I've got is the date and the venue.
"I think once I get a bit of downtime, that's when I'm going to start planning properly. Hopefully I'll get a dress then."

Miley Cyrus makes shrine to late pet

Miley Cyrus has made a shrine for her late pet dog Floyd.
The 21-year-old star spent sunday afternoon (29.06.14) making colourful necklaces in memory of her Alaskan Klee Kai - who passed away after being attacked by a coyote in April - and shared photos of her work on Instagram, which included a black and white design spelling out Floyd.
The 'Wrecking Ball' singer wrote on the picture sharing site: "Making Floyd jewlzzzzz all day."
In another caption she said: "I can make wealllly pwetttttty jewelry & faces".
On Saturday (28.06.14), Miley shared a snap of the shrine and thanked her fans for sending their own "powerful" tributes to the late pup.
She said: "Thank you to everyone for making my Floyd shrine so beautiful and special. The energy around the alter is so powerfully full of love."
"He is so loved and loves you all right back. Without you I would never have these beautiful Floyd stuffed animals that make me happy everyday cause I can hold him... these flowers remind me of his wittle soul."
Meanwhile, the 'We Can't Stop' hitmaker welcomed a Rough Collie named Emu Coyne into her large family of dogs earlier this week, but insists he won't ever replace her beloved Floyd.
She shared another cute snap of her new pet pooch cuddling up to her on Instagram which she accompanied with the caption: "Time to start making Emu accounts smilers. He's here and here to stay. I welcomed Emu Coyne Cyrus into the family a couple days ago. Been keepin him a secret cause sometimes I'm weird like that.
"It's taken some time to be ready for this next step and loving again. There will never be anyone like Floyd. There was a bond that was so deep it's irreplaceable but that's not what I am trying to do. Never will I replace Floyd and that's something I had to take time to understand."
Emu joins Miley's three other canines, Mary Jane, a Pitt Bull, Happy, a Rottweiler-Beagle cross, and Bean, a Chihuahua mix.

Nicki Minaj feared death

Nicki Minaj was convinced she was "about to die" recently.
The 'Super Bass' hitmaker stunned the audience at the BET Awards last night (29.06.14) with her revelation as she picked up the prize for Best Female Hip-Hop Artist and claimed that, despite her health scare, she didn't want to ask for help in case it became public.
She said: "The other day, literally, I didn't tell anybody this, I really thought I was about to die. Like, I was saying my prayers to die. And I didn't even wanna call the ambulance because I thought, 'Well, if I call an ambulance, it's gonna be on TMZ.'"
The rapper then broke the tension with a smile and added: "And it made me realise, I don't care anymore what anybody gotta say. I'mma do me! I'mma do me!"
The 'Pills N Potions' rapper went on to make an apparent slight against fellow nominee Iggy Azalea by stressing that she writes all her own material.
She said: "My point is, what I want the world to know about Nicki Minaj, is when you hear Nicki Minaj spit, Nicki Minaj wrote it. No shade."
Elsewhere at the ceremony - which was hosted by Chris Rock and took place at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles - Beyonce won three awards, but was not at the ceremony to pick up her 2014 FANdemonium award, Best Female R&B/Pop Artist and Best Collaboration for 'Drunk in Love' with husband Jay Z - while Pharrell Williams and August Alsina each took home two trophies.
Pharrell - who kicked off the event with a performance of 'Come Get It Bae' with Missy Elliott - took home Best Male R&B/ Pop Artist and Best Video for 'Happy', while August won Viewers Choice Award for 'I Luv This'," his collaboration with Trinidad James.
Picking up the first award, he said: "I represent the struggle. This award is not for me, it's for the people."
'12 Years a Slave' swept the board in the movie category, taking Best Movie and Best Actor and Actress for stars Chiwetel Ejiofor and Lupita Nyong'o.
Lionel Richie was honoured with a lifetime achievement award.
Other performers at the ceremony - which were established by the Black Entertainment Television network to recognise the achievements of African Americans and other minorities in music, acting, sports, and other fields of entertainment - included John Legend, Chris Brown, and Robin Thicke.

Lou Reed left 30 million

Lou Reed left a fortune of over $30 million when he died.
Robert Gotterer, the former manager of the 'Walk on the Wild Side' hitmaker - who died of liver disease last October aged 71 - was appointed to oversee the star's estate in November and reported to Manhattan Surrogate's Court last week that he has so far collected $20,379,169 in "money and other property".
The huge sum doesn't include the gifts left by the former Velvet Underground singer to his family, nor does it include life insurance or retirement accounts.
According to the New York Post newspaper, the funds are likely to be from Lou's copyright and publishing interests as, in his will, he directed his long-time associate to treat them as his own.
According to the will, the rocker's wife, performance artist Laurie Anderson, will receive $15 million from the money collected by Gotterer and his sister, Margaret Reed Weiner, will receive $5 million.
At the court hearing, the manager - who started working for Lou until 1970 - asked for him and a co-executor to be awarded $220,000 in fees.
The 'Perfect Day' hitmaker's attorney James Purdy filed documents stating executors will submit a full inventory of his client's assets by January 2015.
In his will, Lou left his $7 million New York penthouse apartment, $1.5 million Hamptons holiday home and personal property -- including jewellery, clothing, art, cars, boats and his touring company, Sister Ray Enterprises -- to his wife, and gave $500,000 to his sister to care for their elderly mother.
