Royal selfie taken in Buckingham Palace

Britain’s Princes William and Harry have posed for a selfie inside Buckingham Palace.

The young royals were happy to take a picture with young entrepreneur Jamal Edwards, who hosted a live video chat with the princes yesterday (09.07.14).

William, 32, and Harry, 29, launched a new awards scheme, the Queen’s Young Leaders, for young people in the Commonwealth by taking part in a Google Hangout question-and-answer session.

Jamal shared his regal selfie on Instagram and admitted it was "surreal" to meet the princes in Buckingham Palace.

He captioned the snap: "Had to get that Royal Pic w/ Prince William & Prince Harry loool. Today has been so surreal.

"I made history with hosting the 1st ever social hub in the palace. The Queens Young Leaders is an incredible movement that is going to change young peoples lives all around the world. It could be you!!! #SelfBelief #TheSearchIsOn (sic)"

The Queen’s Young Leaders will award 240 young people aged 18 to 29 who have made a significant contribution to their community.

Speaking during the live video chat, William said: "All the stuff that you guys are doing around the world gives us the inspiration to keep going – honestly, it really does. You set the examples, you set the pattern and you give both of us a reason to go out and do stuff and go meet more people."
