Jimi Mistry claims there will be drama when Leanne Tilsley meets Kal Nazir's mother in 'Coronation Street'.
The actor has revealed "fireworks" are definitely in store when fitness instructor Kal introduces his new girlfriend Leanne (Jane Danson) to his mother Yasmeen and her dodgy past as a prostitute is exposed.
Speaking on ITV show 'This Morning', Jimi explained: "He's aware of it - she's worked on the streets but that gives her a fire, that's her character. The old Leanne Battersby was a real character back in the day. I think Kal accepts that, but the family is a different thing.
"I'm trying to get approval from [Yasmeen] for Leanne, and then this revelation comes out through Nick. It's not the best start, put it that way - there's fireworks!"
The ITV soap newcomer also said that Kal's relationship with his teenage children Alya and Zeedan will play a major part in his storylines over the next few months.
He said: "I've got an interesting relationship with both Alya and my son, who will be starting later on. I was away a lot when they were being brought up - I was in the army, so we have this estranged sort of relationship.
"I'm always very cautious about how she'll accept Leanne. [She seems] to accept that, which is a real nice thing for Kal but then of course there's going to be this whole other stuff."
Austin Mahone was given a wedding ring from a fan.
The 'What About Love' singer admits he's had some strange and extravagant gifts from girls since he became famous, including a wedding ring which belonged to a fan's father and was sent to him in the post.
Speaking from Miami, he told BANG Showbiz: "I recall a girl sending me her dad's wedding ring, she said she took it and said, 'Please will you marry me?' and sent it to me, it was quite weird."
The 18-year-old star doesn't complain about the attention and claims it's every teenager's dream to be "chased by a million screaming girls" but he admits it can get a bit crazy at gigs.
He explained: "Recently, I was performing in Chicago and a fan jumped on stage and ran to me and mass security had to tackle her. You do worry about fans getting hurt sometimes - it was insane."
Meanwhile, Austin has released his debut album 'The Secret', which features fan favourite 'Mmm Yeah' featuring Pitbull and the singer hopes to continue performing and recording for years to come.
He said: "In five years time I see myself selling out arenas, hopefully, having at least a couple of Grammys by then and a lot more albums.
"I just want to do what I'm doing now but on a bigger scale."
Coldplay showered their fans in star shaped confetti as they performed the first of their "last shows for a while" at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Tuesday night (01.07.14).
The four-piece band played a mesmerising set in the centre of the iconic venue and during second to last track 'Sky Full of Stars' singer Chris Martin urged fans to "loosen up" and jump up and down as the white confetti was fired from cannons around the room.
As the band stepped out on stage at the venue - which was adorned with several light-filled trees and silver and blue stars hanging from the ceiling - they received a rapturous reception before launching into 'Always In My Head' from their new album 'Ghost Stories'.
Their set was littered with tracks from 'Ghost Stories' - which seems to catalogue Chris' separation from wife Gwyneth Paltrow - with highlights being 'Magic', 'Ink' and 'True Love'.
The band also played many of their greatest hits, including 'Charlie Brown', 'Paradise', 'Clocks', 'The Scientist' - which prompted a mass sing-along and on which Chris added a line from Adele's 'Someone Like You' - and 'When I Ruled The World'.
Chris' dad Anthony Martin was in the audience for the concert and the musician paid tribute to his father and dedicated ''Til Kingdom Come' to him.
For their encore Coldplay - also comprised of guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman and drummer Will Champion -played 'Oceans' as well as 'Sky Full of Stars' and closed with fan-favourite 'Fix You' which prompted their fans to join in before the foursome took a bow and waved goodbye.

Ryan Gosling wanted to kick Rachel McAdams off of the set of 'The Notebook'.
The 'Crazy Stupid Love' star - who played hopeless romantic Noah Calhoun in the movie - is said to have asked director Nick Cassavetes to find someone else to play his love-interest Allie Hamilton during filming because of his lack of chemistry with McAdams.
Cassavetes revealed: "Maybe I'm not supposed to tell this story, but they were really not getting along one day on set. Really not.
"And Ryan came to me, and there's 150 people standing in this big scene, and he says, 'Nick come here'.
"And he's doing a scene with Rachel and he says, 'Would you take her out of here and bring in another actress to read off camera with me?'
"I said, 'What?' He says, 'I can't. I can't do it with her. I'm just not getting anything from this'."
However, rather than giving up on the pair - who later dated on-and-off for four years - Cassavetes decided to set up an impromptu therapy session.
He told VH1: "We went into a room with a producer, they started screaming and yelling at each other. I walked out ... I smoked a cigarette and everybody came out like, 'All right let's do this'. And it got better after that, you know? They had it out.
"I think Ryan respected her for standing up for her character and Rachel was happy to get that out in the open."
Although he was able to finish the film, which has developed a cult following since its release in 2004, he admits the co-stars still had difficulties after their argument.
He added: "The rest of the film wasn't smooth sailing, but it was smoother sailing."
Chris Martin believes music saved his life.
The Coldplay frontman was able to channel his feelings during his marriage problems to Gwyneth Paltrow - who he split from in March - into new album 'Ghost Stories' and feels "grateful" he has an outlet for his emotions.
He told Steve Wright's Big Show on Radio 2: "You can choose your paths in life, I find, when you get to a point where you're like 'I could either jump off a bridge or I could try and turn this around'.
"I'm sure lots of people have that in much harder instances. You just find the right tools.
"I feel so grateful. Especially over the last couple of years, music has been alchemising.
"Going through something difficult in your life, music for me is always a friend and something that helps you to figure things out. That's always what I'm doing in the middle of the night."
Chris - who has children Apple, 10, and Moses, eight, with Gwyneth - claims he "needed" to write the group's new album, and has no idea how other people have perceived the record.
He added: "It's so important for me that album, it hasn't really crossed my mind what it means for anyone else. Because I needed it.
"I'm very grateful to be here. Every day is a blessing. That's how I feel."
Meanwhile, the 'Magic' singer admitted he has always given 10 per cent of his earnings to charity and thinks others should follow suit.
He said: When I got pocket money as a kid, my mum said you should give 10 per cent away, and so we just keep that rule.
"I don't think it is corny at all, I think it would be amazing if all companies did that."
Justin Bieber was on his "best behaviour" during a night out in Los Angeles on Sunday (29.06.14).
The 'Boyfriend' star went to see his tour DJ, Tay James, on the decks at State Social House in West Hollywood and went for dinner with friends, where he stunned guests by being "respectful" and polite, as well as picking up the bill for his entire group.
A source told the New York Daily News newspaper's Confidenti@l column: "He was on his best behaviour. He was very respectful and he even paid for everyone's tab."
The pop star, 20, also reportedly left a 40 per cent tip on the dinner for the waiting staff.
Justin, who made a groveling apology last month after two videos emerged showing him using the N-word when he was 16 and making racist jokes, was sadly back to behaving badly on Tuesday (01.07.14) when police were called twice to his Beverley Hills home after complaints about loud music.
According to TMZ, the 'Believe' hitmaker was hosting a party for guests including Johnny Manziel, Floyd Mayweather, Tyrese, Tyga, and Chantel Jeffries - and after police spoke to a guest, the group agreed to turn down the volume.
However, a short time later, police returned to the building following another complaint, this time over female fans who were screaming and making noise outside.
Robin Thicke's new album is an "apology" to his estranged wife.
The 'Blurred Lines' hitmaker has poured his heartbreak over his split from Paula Patton into new record 'Paula' and says the songs have helped him "figure out" his personal situation.
He said: "The album is exactly what happens when you lose the love of your life and you're trying to figure it out in your head.
"How am I going to move on and get through it all? We just weren't happy together anymore and I still had so much I wanted to apologise for, and things I wanted to take responsibility for, so that's pretty much what the album's about."
And despite being the subject matter for the songs, Robin admits Paula - the mother of his four-year-old son Julian - hasn't heard much of the album yet.
He added in an interview with Hot 97 radio: "She hasn't heard [the album]. She's only heard a few songs. I don't think she wants to hear it right now. I can't speak for her, but I think space is an important part of any healing process."
The 'Get Her Back' singer has made numerous public pleas to win back his wife of eight years, but they haven't seen one another for several months.
He added: "I try to keep most of that private, but, I haven't seen her for four months.
"If you've been together that long, you kinda became adults together instead of being adults and then meeting. But maybe a year or two off, we'll become our own people without each other and then it will be meant to be."
Professor Green is fed up with Twitter.
The rapper has announced he plans to curb his excessive use of the social media site, stop spewing inane "digital diarrhoea" and restrict himself to meaningful updates because he's sick of the banality of his online interactions.
He wrote in an article on The Independent newspaper's website: "I'm having a reboot, a digital do-over. I've been on Twitter since January 2009, and I'm tired of the digital diarrhoea that has spewed forth from my fingers in the 140 format.
"Over the last five years, I've tweeted over 54,000 times - an average of 27.47 times per day. From last night I've decided to erase my timeline and start over. I'm deleting all previous tweets and unfollowing the 1,600 people who clutter up my timeline."
The 30-year-old star, whose real name is Stephen Manderson, wants to start anew and make sure only the most important aspects of his life like his marriage to Millie Mackintosh and his music are documented.
He continued: "I don't regret a single thing I've tweeted but I want to erase the past and start afresh. I've done a lot of my growing up in public; I've wrestled with a lot of demons, come to terms with many life-altering experiences and gotten married; most of, if not all, of which has been documented in some way shape or form on the internet.
"When I'm 80 years old sucking soup through a straw and my great grandkids are scrolling through my timeline, do I want them knowing I told two million people that I took a s**t at 4pm on a Thursday? Not really."
The 'Just Be Good to Green' rapper also lamented the loss of basic grammar that Twitter is encouraging, and wants to do his great grandmother Edie proud by filling his time with more worthwhile activities.
He concluded: "We're so concerned with documenting our digital persona that we've forgotten to experience reality. There's now a generation of kids watching an entire gig through their phone. Rather than experiencing the experience, we're Instagramming it. Make memories people, not Vine videos.
"It's time to be more considered. Instead of sitting on my phone, I'm going to do things that benefit my mind; read a book, go to an art gallery, meet a mate for a coffee."
