Ridley Scott says 'Exodus: Gods and Kings' is the "biggest" movie he's ever made.
The 'Prometheus' director is currently in post-production for the upcoming drama about Moses' hand in leading the Israelite slaves out of Egypt and he's revealed it's the biggest project he's ever worked on.
He explained: "Well, in terms of the metaphorical aspects, yes [this is the biggest project I've done]. Even budgetarily it's probably the biggest, yeah.
"But I didn't approach it as my biggest. I never do that. I always approach it from the point of view of the characters, of the story.
"I never realised 'Gladiator' was going to be quite as large in terms of its scope and yet it was a very small, personal story."
'Exodus' tells the story of two brothers - Moses (Christian Bale) and his adopted sibling Rhamses (Joel Edgerton) - and deals with warfare, plagues and literal acts of God but Scott has tried to keep details of the plot under wraps.
He told ScreenRant: "I've held back a bit - wait till you see the move. You must never oversell yourself. You've got to wait till you're three weeks out, then you go for it."
'Exodus: Gods and Kings' also stars Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul, Sigourney Weaver, and Ben Kingsley and is scheduled for release on December 26 2014.
Dakota Johnson is to star in 'Forever, Interrupted'.
The 24-year-old actress has been offered the leading role in the upcoming film adaptation of the Taylor Jenkins Reid novel 'Forever, Interrupted: A Novel', Variety reports.
The film will tell the story of a young woman (Johnson) who elopes after a whirlwind romance but when her adoring husband dies a sudden death she will be forced to come to terms with his loss and forms an unlikely relationship with his mother.
Amy Baer will produce the romantic drama through Gidden Media while Johnson will also take on the role of executive producer alongside Nathan Kahane and Joe Drake of Good Universe, John Middleton and Roy Lee.
She said of the novel: "[It's] exquisitely written and heart-wrenchingly honest ... and Dakota will be exquisite as Elsie, who has to deal with the sudden loss of a great love. She is a deeply thoughtful, sensitive and smart woman and actress."
Johnson recently wrapped on the untitled Whitey Bulger biopic, formerly titled 'Black Mass', opposite Johnny Depp and will next be seen in 'Fifty Shades of Grey'.
'The Dead Parrot' has been voted the nation's favourite Monty Python sketch of all time.
The famous pet shop skit - which first aired in 1969 and featured John Cleese as an angry customer attempting to get his money back from stubborn salesman Michael Palin - has been voted the most popular moment by 45 percent of the 2,000 adults taking part in the survey.
The 'Lumberjack Song' came in second with 28 percent, while 'The Ministry of Silly Walks' made it into the top three after receiving 23 percent of the vote.
The 'Spanish Inquisition' made it into fourth with 16 percent, while 'Spam' and 'Four Yorkshire Men' followed closely behind with 15 and 12 percent respectively.
Just missing out on the top 10 was the 'Silly Olympics', 'Hell's Grannies' and 'Gay Policemen', which all received just six percent of the vote.
The survey was commissioned to mark the screening of the comedy troupe's - consisting of John, Michael, Eric Idle, Terry Gilliam and Terry Jones - last ever Monty Python live show, which will air on TV Gold on July 20.
General Manager of Gold, Steve North, said: "It's clear from our research that Monty Python has crossed the generations, 45 years on from the very first series. We're honoured to be broadcasting the final 'Monty Python Live (Mostly)' stage show on our channel so that fans at home can be part of the last ever performance from the most iconic group of comedians in the world."
The nation's favourite top ten Monty Python sketches are as follows:
'Dead Parrot' - 45 percent
'The Lumberjack Song' - 28 percent
'The Ministry of Silly Walks' - 23 percent
'The Spanish Inquisition' - 16 percent
'Spam' - 15 percent
'Four Yorkshiremen' - 12 percent

'Geordie Shore' has been confirmed for series nine.
MTV have decided to renew the reality TV show for another series - even before the eighth has aired - which will see the cast travel to Paris, France, to party.
Charlotte Crosby said: "I'm so excited about being in the new series (nine) of 'Geordie Shore'. (In series 8) Relationships sparked out of nowhere ... so I can't wait to see how things unravel and who hooks up with who this time around!"
Further filming destinations are yet to be announced for the new series but one place the group - including hunky newcomers Kyle Christie and Aaron Chalmers - won't be heading is Blackpool after they were banned from shooting their wild antics at the UK seaside resort.
Councillor Graham Cain, Cabinet Member for Tourism and Leisure, said previously: "As a town that relies on tourism we have to be careful about allowing any programmes to film in the resort which may have a detrimental effect on the town's economy.
"We prefer to work with companies that appeal to our target market of families and do so on a regular basis."
Meanwhile, series eight, which was filmed in their native Newcastle, is set to hit screens on July 22.
'Hollyoaks' star Alex Fletcher is worried about portraying her role in the Finn O'Connor rape storyline.
The actress's alter-ego Diane O'Connor is currently unaware that her son Finn (Keith Rice) sexually assaulted his teacher John Paul McQueen (James Sutton) and she admits she's concerned about how her character will react when the truth finally comes out.
Speaking to SoapSquawk.com, the 38-year-old star said: "It's going to be tough because how do you begin to research how Diane would fell when all that comes out? ... Hopefully when all that comes out they will get someone in to help me like they did with James and Keith before the storyline started. I'm a bit scared of it because it's going to be massive when it finally all comes to a head and there's a lot of pressure because the storyline has been brilliant from the very start."
The blonde beauty also believes the show's boss Bryan Kirkwood is responsible for putting the programme back in competition with other shows such as 'EastEnders', 'Coronation Street' and 'Emmerdale'.
she explained: "Bryan is working so far in the future, which he has to because there's so much happening, he's secured his main families. He's built a show that's very family-based but everyone is interlinked in some way, which is brilliant ... There was a time when I first joined the show that it wasn't doing so well in the ratings, so to see it doing so well now and everyone's working so hard, it's brilliant. We've got it back to where it should be."
Matt LeBlanc thought something "wrong" had happened when he was called about his Emmy nomination.
The 46-year-old actor was told yesterday (10.07.14) that he was up for the Best Comedy Actor prize for his role in 'Episodes', and because he sleeps so heavily, his first reaction when the phone rang was to panic.
He told USA Today newspaper: "I sleep so heavily that I forget when the phone rings that something wrong hasn't happened.
"I panic, 'Is the house on fire? Is someone hurt? What happened?' It never fails."
Matt was delighted to receive the call, and thinks the nomination means the show will push to do even better with the next season.
He said: "It's validating. It's a good feeling. It's almost like the bar is set, you've got to push even harder now. To keep the quality of the show as high as we can."
Meanwhile, despite insisting he never gets tired of being asked about a possible 'Friends' reunion, he insists the sit-com - which ended in 2004 after 10 years - will never return as it would be "sad" to see the group in middle age.
He told the Los Angeles Times newspaper: "I'm not tired of getting asked that question at all. 'Friends' was probably the greatest 10 years of my life...
"As far as a reunion project, that's just not in the cards. I think that show was about a finite period in your life - after college and before you start your family where your friends are your family -and that's what that show was about.
"So to go beyond that doesn't feel like you'd do justice to that. I think it's best to imagine what those characters are doing now versus to see those characters.
"No one wants to see us in our 40s. Joey's still struggling as an actor. It'd just be sad."
Heidi Klum worries about her children's health.
The German model - who has kids Leni, 10, Henry, eight, Johan, seven, and Lou, four, with ex-husband Seal - thinks it's important to make time in her schedule to cook nutritious meals for her family herself.
She said: "I worry about my own children and getting them good food for breakfast, lunch and dinner."
The blonde beauty also puts her cooking skills to good use by delivering meals to needy families via the charity God's Love We Deliver.
She told People magazine: "I'm a good cook and great at chopping, so when God's Love We Deliver asked me about volunteering, I jumped in and have been working with them for 10 years.
"Whenever I'm in New York, I go into their giant kitchen and take orders; chop these 2,000 peppers, peel these 1,000 carrots. I'm part of a prep station in a group that delivers more than 1.2 million nutritious meals a year.
"When I deliver meals to people, it cheers them up a bit - they are really excited. I try to put a smile on their faces."
Courtney Love has reached a settlement with her former assistant.
The Hole rocker had been accused by Jessica Labrie of withholding her salary after she refused to forge court documents and hire a hacker, and though a judge rejected the ex-employee's claims in April, the pair came to an agreement earlier this week.
According to RadarOnline.com, the terms of the agreement are protected.
In her lawsuit, which was filed in 2012, Jessica - who worked for Courtney from July 2011 until June 2012 - claimed she worked 60-hour weeks but was only paid a fraction of her salary.
She also alleged she was owed overtime and salary payment from her former employer.
The pair's representatives have been discussing a settlement for the past month, and now they have agreed terms, both parties will be able to file a motion to dismiss the case.
Courtney, 50, recently admitted she no longer bears grudges with anyone.
Explaining how "forgiveness" is one of her obsessions, she said: "I'm 50, and I don't care what you said two years ago or yesterday. It's all good."
However, the outspoken blonde suggested people should still think twice about upsetting her.
She also wrote on the list: "Keeping people scared. Hell hath no fury like me!"
Kim Kardashian wants to co-ordinate her outfits with Kanye West and their daughter.
The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star is "obsessed" with a friend of hers who came to 12-month-old daughter North's recent birthday party wearing clothes in the same colour as the rest of the family, so now the brunette beauty thinks it is definitely something she wants to try, especially if she and her spouse have more kids.
She said: "You know what I'm obsessed with? This family came to North's birthday party and they were all wearing white. There were three kids, a mom and a dad, and they were all wearing different white separates - harem pants, flowy blouses, very boho.
"If I have more kids, we're all going to go out in the same colour. All nude, all black - it's going to be our thing."
The 33-year-old beauty also admitted she envies how glamorous her sister Kourtney - who is expecting her and Scott Disick's third child - looks when she is pregnant as she doesn't think she was "hot" when carrying North.
She told Lucky magazine: "Kourtney has the best maternity style. I mean, I wish I'd looked like a hot pregnant person..."
However, Kim admits finding a good pair of maternity jeans gave her a confidence boost.
She added: "Maternity jeans -- the ones from J Brand -- changed my life. They made me feel like a normal person again!"
