Stan Lee thinks he should be offered a cameo in 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice'.
The former president and chairman of Marvel Comics has joked that rivals DC Comics should ask him to make an appearance in their upcoming sequel in a bid to make it more successful.
He said: "DC could probably make a lot more money with 'Superman' and 'Batman' if they announced that I'd have a cameo in it!
"People wouldn't believe it - they'd have to go to the theatre and see it!"
The 91-year-old writer and actor also revealed that he's very proud of the way in which the Marvel Cinematic Universe has expanded, and is looking forward to the upcoming release of 'Guardians of the Galaxy'.
According to Digital Spy, he said: "All it can do is make it better for Marvel if we do these movies and the movies are successful.
"There are people reading Marvel comic books that would have never thought to read a comic book before."
He added: "It helps the comic book business. The movie business has been unbelievably incredible. The Marvel movies are the biggest money-making movies of all."
Lee - who confirmed he'd be making a cameo appearance in 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' - also claimed that Marvel Comics films had boosted relatively unknown actors' careers.
He explained: "People that had not been big stars before, like the fellow who plays Thor [Chris Hemsworth], he's wonderful ... and Chris [Evans] who plays Captain America ... He's excellent."
Beyoncé and Jay Z are reportedly having online marriage counselling.
The couple - who are currently on their joint 'On The Run' world tour - are said to be having counselling sessions with a therapist on the Internet via video-chat programme Skype, in order to keep their relationship going strong.
A source revealed: "It might sound drastic but in America especially, counselling is fairly standard procedure.
"They have known their therapist for a long time and try to have weekly sessions just to keep communication open and make sure there are no misunderstandings."
Despite the couple - who got married in 2008 - having been plagued by rumours of infidelity in recent months, the sessions are said to be about maintaining the happiness in their relationship for the sake of their two-year-old daughter.
The source added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: "It's about maintenance rather than trying to fix anything hugely wrong. They are both happy and their daughter, Blue Ivy, remains their absolute priority."
The news comes just two months after Beyonce's sister Solange Knowles was seen attacking Jay in leaked security footage from an elevator as the trio made their way out of a Met Ball after-party in New York.
A statement was later released, saying: "At the end of the day families have problems and we're no different. We love each other and above all we are family. We've put this behind us and hope everyone else will do the same."
Andy Serkis says Harrison Ford is a "trouper".
The 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes' star is appearing alongside the big screen veteran in 'Star Wars Episode VII' and he described him as a tough man after fracturing his leg during a recent shoot.
Asked if he saw the incident, Andy said: "No, I didn't. Poor guy. But apparently he's been - pardon the pun - a real trouper.
"He wants to get back on set as quickly as possible and get on with it."
Harrison was injured while filming the latest instalment of the space saga after he hurt his leg on the door of the Millennium Falcon spaceship - which means fans can expect a sturdy machine in line with the original production.
He told the Independent on Sunday newspaper's New Review magazine: "That's the one thing that's possibly safe to say - JJ is absolutely, 100 per cent honouring the original three movies.
"It's filled with the love and sensibility of those films."
While Harrison has already been confirmed as reprising his role as rogue smuggler Han Solo in the first instalment of the new trilogy, Andy is having to remain tight-lipped about what part he'll be playing.
However, asked if he was going to be related to fan-favourite bounty hunter Boba Fett, he admitted: "I can probably safely safe that I'm not related to Boba Fett."
Millie Mackintosh says Professor Green is her dream dinner date.
The loved-up star described her husband - whose real name is Stephen Manderson - as her ideal company for an evening out, admitting while they aren't each other's type, their relationship works and he makes her laugh.
She told the Mail on Sunday newspaper's Event magazine: "[My dream dinner date would be] Stephen. He took me to the Groucho Club in London for our first date.
"He said: 'You're not the sort of bird I go for,' and I said, 'Well, you're not the type of guy I normally go out with - I go for the bad boys!'
"He's funny and cool and makes me laugh - and that is why I married him!"
Although the couple - who got married in September 2013 - are loving their time together, they don't have any plans to expand their family yet, with Millie recently claiming they were focusing on their new home for now, rather than a baby.
She previously said: "I'm just so busy at the moment and the house is like our baby, our project. I have so many other things going on at the moment work-wise. Just renovating a house is stressful. You don't realise how expensive it is either. I can't even go shopping!
"Everyone's asking what my summer plans are and I'm just like, 'Moving!' "
Cheryl Cole has reportedly got married.
The 'X Factor' judge, who split from dancer Tre Holloway seven months ago, tied the knot with her French boyfriend Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini in a secret ceremony on a beach on the island of Mustique, in the West Indies, this weekend.
A source told The Sun newspaper that the couple, who started dating three months ago, exchanged vows in front of just four guests, including the 'Fight For This Love' hitmaker's mother Joan Callaghan.
The 31-year-old beauty quietly started dating the 33-year-old restaurant owner in April and went public with their relationship at the Cannes International Film Festival a month later.
Jean moved into her luxury mansion in the UK last month and friends recently revealed he was eager to make the former Girls Aloud star, who was previously married to footballer Ashley Cole until 2010, his wife.
An insider told The Mirror newspaper: "Their relationship has really hotted up, and he's a very impulsive guy.
"He thinks the two of them are perfect together and would love to marry her. To people who don't know him it might seem rushed but he's a passionate Frenchman - he wears his heart on his sleeve."
Selena Gomez has hit back at a "distasteful" fan for abusing her on Instagram.
The 'Come & Get It' hitmaker, who split from her on-again, off-again boyfriend Justin Bieber last week, lashed back at a young female for "bullying" her by leaving a nasty comment on one of her photographs recently, in which the fan apparently wished the brunette beauty and her family would get cancer.
Horrified by the message, the 21-year-old star shared a photograph of her response to the user, whose profile has since been deleted, captioned: "Honestly, I don't speak up much because it's simply always taken out of context. But I don't take bullying well. I have seen too much to not say anything."
In the message to her abuser, she said: "The comment you left about cancer was absurd. How distasteful of a young woman. I have gone through that battle with fans and family members. You can dislike someone but to wish something that could happen to your or your family is uncalled for sweetheart. You won't be winning anyone's heart that way. Trust me. Educate yourself a tad more. God bless love. Be an amazing woman. You're beautiful."
Her response won support from many of her loyal fans, as it was liked more than 400,000 times.
Katherine Heigl doesn't see herself as a "difficult" actress.
The 'State of Affairs' star, who was previously accused of causing "desperately difficult situations" on the set of her 2010 movie 'Life As We Know It,' insists she and her mother Nancy Heigl, who is also her manager, conduct themselves "professionally and respectfully" in Hollywood.
Asked about her bad reputation, the 35-year-old actress said: "I can't really speak to that. I can only say that I certainly don't see myself as being difficult. I would never intend to be difficult. I don't think my mother sees herself as being difficult. We always ... I think it's important to everybody to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully and kindly."
She added: "If I've ever disappointed somebody, it was never intentional."
A well-placed insider claimed last year that Katherine and her mother were hard to work with, saying: "I have never experienced anything like Nancy Heigl. It's about the mouth. 'F**k you. You are a f**king liar.' Whatever you'd say, you were an idiot."
Another source from Katherine's 2008 movie '27 Dresses' backed up the accusations, adding: "There were movie-star demands -- big rooms, the mother there, all the stuff . . . It was just a sense of entitlement. The biggest stars don't do that kind of thing."
The former 'Grey's Anatomy' actress hopes fans will "be excited about" her return to television.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the blonde beauty told reporters while promoting her new NBC series in Beverly Hills: "I think that this opportunity is -- and I think a lot of people want to know why this show, why come back to television -- it's because it's an extraordinary role, it's an extraordinary opportunity, and an extraordinary story, and it's an opportunity for me to flex some different muscles and show a different side of myself as an actor and a performer and a storyteller that I hope my audience will be excited about and love."

The 31-year-old actor told PEOPLE.com: "Losing someone that close - I've honestly never been through anything like that, so the most someone like myself can do is offer my condolences. That's a tough one."
Matt's cause of death is currently unknown, but an incident report taken by a detective at the scene stated no drugs, drug paraphernalia, alcohol, medication or weapons were located in his hotel room, and his body did not appear to have suffered any physical harm.
The nightclub promoter's death happened just before the first anniversary of 'Glee' star Cory Monteith's death from a heroin and alcohol overdose in Vancouver, Canada today (13.07.14), and Mark admits those wounds are "still fresh."
Asked what message he would like to send to Becca, he said: "Our prayers are with you and with what we went through a year ago with Cory - it's still fresh wounds, and I can't help but associate that feeling with what we went through. But she's such a strong girl, so she'll be all right."

Barron Hilton, 25, was reportedly involved in a violent altercation with former 'Baywatch' star Jeremy Jackson at her mansion in Malibu, California early this morning (13.07.14) and is still undergoing medical treatment.
A source close to the 33-year-old socialite told gossip website TMZ.com that the actor, who played Hobie Buchannon on the TV series, walked into her house uninvited with five or six friends and were immediately asked to leave by her close friend Brandon Davis, but Jeremy allegedly went ballistic, saying: "Don't you know who I am? I was on 'Baywatch' and 'Celebrity Rehab.' "
The insider claims Jeremy then grabbed another guest and started choking him, causing several other people to jump in to subdue him.
Barron was bleeding after the incident and is still in hospital after getting stitches to a wound.
The source also claims that Jeremy broke something off Paris' car outside the property as he was leaving.
But the actor, 33, says he was the victim and someone smashed a glass bottle over his head during the fight.
Police were called to the scene but no one was arrested, as nobody wanted to press charges.
Barron previously claimed he was beaten up in an attack ordered by Paris' former friend Lindsay Lohan at a house party in Miami, Florida in December.

The 27-year-old actress posted an old photograph of the Canadian actor, in which he is smiling on a beach, on Twitter, and wrote: "We hold you in our hearts today, and every day we remember your smile. We will love you and miss you always."
A source close to the brunette beauty, who recently started dating Matthew Paetz, told gossip website HollywoodLife.com: "She is going to mourn on her own time and keep her thoughts and feelings to herself.
"She knows that Cory would want to live her life and that is exactly what she will be doing."
Lea's co-stars also remembered Cory on their social media profiles.
Matthew Morrison tweeted: "I personally believe Cory was reborn into some other beautiful form a year ago today. I celebrate him and his life... Wherever that may be."
'Glee' creator Ryan Murphy simply tweeted: "Miss you."
Actor Kevin McHale posted: "It's been 1 whole year & it's still so surreal, but today is just a reminder of how damn great you were and how much you mean to us all"

Paris Hilton has been accused of attacking a former 'Baywatch' star at her home.
Actor Jeremy Jackson, who played Hobie Buchannon on the television show, claims the 33-year-old socialite and a number of her friends, including billionaire playboy Brandon Davis, viciously assaulted him at a party at her home in Malibu, California early this morning (13.07.14).
Police were called to the house, which the former reality TV star is renting for $65,000 a month, after receiving two calls from people, who both claimed they were attacked by the other.
One of the complainants was one of Paris' younger brothers, but it is not know whether it was Conrad Hilton, 20, or Barron Hilton, 25.
The 33-year-old actor told gossip website TMZ.com: "They were literally going Rodney King on my a**."
He also branded the blonde beauty and Brandon as "degenerate fame w****s," and claimed someone broke a glass bottle over his head during the incident.
A law enforcement source said that no one was arrested, as neither of them wanted to press charges.

Ethan Hawke believes he's the world's "best lover."
The 43-year-old actor was thrilled when his wife Ryan Hawke, with whom he has daughters Clementine, six, and Indiana, four, gave him the title because she is one of the "smartest people" he knows.
The 'Boyhood' star told UsMagazine.com: "My wife says I'm the best lover in the world.
"My mother says I'm really smart.
"My kids say I'm the world's best day."
He added: "My wife, my mother, and my kids are the smartest people I know."
Ethan, who also has daughter Maya, 15, and son, Levon, 12, with ex-wife Uma Thurman, previously admitted he doesn't believe in monogamy even though he has been happily married to Ryan since 2008.
He said: "My relationship with my present wife is thrilling to me and I'm committed to it. But neither she nor I know what shape the future will come in. Sexual fidelity can't be the whole thing you hang your relationship on. If you really love somebody you want them to grow, but you don't get to define how that happens. They do."
He added: "People have such a childish view of monogamy and fidelity. 'He's cheated so he's bad, she's cheated so she's bad,' as opposed to a recognition that our species is not monogamous. To act all indignant, that your world has been rocked because your lover wasn't faithful to you, is a little bit like acting rocked that your hair went grey. Human beings are sexual beings."
