Drake teams up with Chris Brown for skit

Drake and Chris Brown have reportedly filmed a comedy skit together.
The long-time rivals, who were spotted in a recording studio last week, sparking rumours they'd ended their feud, have teamed up to record a sketch for the ESPY Awards, which the 'Started From The Bottom' hitmaker is hosting in Los Angeles tonight (16.07.14).
A source told gossip website TMZ.com that Drake and the 25-year-old R&B star, who have both had on-again, off-again relationships with Rihanna, were at rehearsals ahead of the ceremony.
The skit begins in an office of a law firm, before moving on to a locker room, and then on to a dentist's office, where LA Clippers star Blake Griffin stands over Drake, causing the rapper to shout, "Are you really going to do this?"
Chris then bursts in and says, "No, I am."
A source previously insisted that Drake's new friendship with the 'Loyal singer was strictly professional and claimed they decided to put their differences aside, as they believe they can make millions by working together on Chris' upcoming album.
Drake, 27, recently hinted things are still frosty between him and Chris, saying he would "rather not comment" on why they have been hanging out.
Tension between the pair erupted into a violent fight in New York City nightclub W.I.P. in 2012, leaving several people injured.
The Canadian star also claimed last year that he would never be able to talk to Chris.
During an interview, he said: "I wish we could sit down, just like you and me are right now, and talk it out man-to-man. But that's not going to happen."

Ryan Tedder: Hit songs don’t need a lot of thought

Ryan Tedder says hit songs shouldn't "need a lot of thought".
The OneRepublic frontman has written catchy tracks for numerous singers as well as his own band and he insists great pop should sound easy to create.
In an interview with the new issue of FAULT Magazine - out on July 18 - the singer-songwriter explained: "You have to have hits all the time: that is your currency. You have to have the most cutting edge, innovative, driving, fantastical songs that the world instantly reacts to. They don't need a lot of thought, and you don't have to dig deep."
Among Ryan's hits are Leona Lewis' worldwide smash 'Bleeding Love', which he co-wrote with Jesse McCartney, and 'Halo' which he penned with Beyoncé and Evan Bogart.
However, he insists not all musicians share the same passion for the craft as he does.
When asked if he's ever met or worked with pop stars who aren't as involved in their music as he is, the 35-year-old star shared: "Yes. If the artist is part of the machine then they're too busy to really artistically care, they just say, 'Give me the biggest hit.' "
Admitting he finds it harder to write songs for OneRepublic than for other artists, he added: "OneRepublic songs are a lot harder for me. I compare it to theatre. A OneRepublic album is a play written, directed, produced, performed by us, by me, but when it's for another artist I feel like I wrote the dialogue, but I don't have to stand on stage and deliver it, so I'm not the one getting tomatoes thrown at 'em if it doesn't go well."
OneRepublic's new single 'Love Runs Out' is out August 3 and appears on a new version of the album 'Native' out August 11 on Mosley Music/Interscope Records.

Ron Howard making Beatles documentary

Ron Howard is making an official documentary about The Beatles.
The acclaimed filmmaker will helm a project about the legendary group from their early gigs to to their last public concert in Candlestick Park, San Francisco, in 1966, and feels "honoured" to have been asked by producers Apple Corps Ltd., White Horse Pictures and Imagine Entertainment to work on the film.
He said: "I am excited and honoured to be working with Apple and the White Horse team on this astounding story of these four young men who stormed the world in 1964.
"Their impact on popular culture and the human experience cannot be exaggerated."
Surviving group members Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are expected to be involved in the documentary, as are Yoko Ono and Olivia Harrison, the widows of deceased John Lennon and George Harrison.
An official website has been set up for the documentary, www.thebeatlesliveproject.com, and also includes a call for fans to submit materials for inclusion.
A message on the site reads: "Were you there? Or were your parents or grandparents a part of Beatlemania?
"If you or someone you know has visual or audio materials that document the Beatles' live tours, we want to hear from you! We are looking for rare or unusual footage, photographs, and audio recordings, particularly those that highlight the fan experience - what it was like to be a part of the frenzy.
"If you have materials you believe belong in this film, please contact us."
No release date has been announced yet.

Sheryl Crow wants to wed

Sheryl Crow wants to get married.
The 52-year-old singer - who has adopted sons Wyatt, seven, and Levi, four - admits she has "old-fashioned" values, but would rather never make it down the aisle than end up divorced.
She said: "I would love to get married - I'm still old-fashioned. But I don't think marriage is the be-all and end-all. It's better to have three broken engagements than three divorces."
The 'All I Wanna Do' hitmaker - who has previously dated singer Eric Clapton, actor Owen Wilson and disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong - admitted some of her past relationships have left her feeling "small".
She told Good Housekeeping magazine: "I had always gone out with guys who were highly successful, which would seem like it would put me at an equal level.
"But what ends up happening is that one of you becomes smaller - and it was always me. It's always the woman. I mean, I don't know if it's always the woman, but I do think sometimes in order for one person's light to shine, everyone else has to dim theirs."
These days, however, Sheryl's idea of relationships have changed after taking advice from a friend, who told her: "Embrace the idea of only having equals in your life, and you'll see your relationships change."
And the 'If It Makes You Happy' star insists on getting to know any potential boyfriends as a "friend first" for the sake of her sons.
She explained: "They weren't gonna wake up and find somebody sleeping in their house or feel abandoned because the relationship fell apart."

Chace Crawford confirms love split

Chace Crawford has split from Rachelle Goulding.
The 'Gossip Girl' hunk hasn't been pictured with the Canadian model - who he was first romantically linked with early last year - for several months and has finally admitted they are no longer together.
Asked on Australia's Kiis FM radio if he was still with the "hot chick", he replied: "Ah, no. I'm not. I'm not. It's totally good. It's totally good. We had fun."
The 29-year-old star also insisted he is currently too busy to find love because he recently relocated from New York to Los Angeles.
Asked if he has a new girlfriend, he said: "I actually moved out of New York, I live in LA now.
"You know what I am traveling too much right now. I am just trying to move into Los Angeles right now, I have a couple of independent films, right now."
And Chace has found it very different trying to date in Los Angeles than in New York.
He said: "You know what LA is different. It's definitely a different town from New York, especially for meeting people."

Ryan Gosling dotes on pregnant Eva Mendes

Ryan Gosling cooks for Eva Mendes.
The 'Drive' star - who is expecting his first child with 'Hitch' actress later this year - has stepped up to the "caring father-to-be" role, running errands for his pregnant girlfriend and even cooking her favourite meals.
A source told Us Weekly: "Ryan goes out and gets the groceries.
"[Eva's] been wanting pasta, and he's cooking her meals.
"Ryan has already stepped into the role of caring father-to-be."
The 33-year-old actor - who met Eva, 40, on the set of their movie 'Place Beyond The Pines' in 2011- has always been open about his desire to start a family.
He previously said: "I'd like to be making babies but I'm not, so I'm making movies.
"When someone comes along, I don't think I'll be able to do both and I'm fine with that. I'll make movies until I make babies."
Meanwhile, the couple are said to be thrilled with the news of the pregnancy.
A source said: "They literally could not be more excited. She's feeling great."
The stunning brunette is rumoured to be around seven months pregnant and hadn't been seen out in public since March until she was photographed wearing a baggy dress and hiding her baby bump with a bag while making her way to her car in Los Angeles last week.

Duchess Catherine attended cookery school

Britain's Duchess Catherine attended cookery school.
TV chef Rachel Khoo has revealed that the 32-year-old royal - mother to adorable tot Prince George - was among her classmates during a two-week course at Leiths School of Food and Wine in west London.
A fortnight of culinary classes costs a whopping £1,600 per student.
Rachel says she even took notes for Catherine, 32, when she was ill.
She told Woman magazine: "Kate was in my class. She was ill for a few days, so I took notes for her.
"She was a lovely person but she kept herself to herself."
The prestigious school counts TV chef Lorraine Pascal and food critic Gizzi Erskine among its alumni.
The duchess was recently criticised for costly renovations to her Kensington Palace apartment, including installing a brand new kitchen to supplement the existing 350 sq ft kitchen for official events.
The new kitchen is expected to be a "private family kitchen" for Catherine, her husband Prince William, 32, and their 11-month-old son.
Last month it was reported the renovations had reached a cost of £4.5 million.

Kodaline: Harry Styles is cool

Kodaline found it "very cool" writing with Harry Styles.
The group bonded with the One Direction singer after he went to one of their gigs, and they spent an interesting day in the recording studio together afterwards, though singer Steve Garrigan has no idea what the 'Little Things' hitmaker wants to do with the tracks.
Asked if he thinks Harry will go solo, Steve told BANG Showbiz: "I have no idea if that's the plan at all. But writing with him was very cool.
"He came to one of our shows and we were just hanging out afterwards. We all had the next day off so decided to go to the studio together and played music together all day, that was how it all came about really."
The 'High Hopes' group have performed a string of recent outdoor gigs including at the Glastonbury festival and the Summer Series at London's Somerset House with American Express, and love the differing experiences they get for playing different sized crowds.
Steve explained: "Glastonbury was amazing and at the time was definitely a career highlight.
"Large gigs are always great because of the sheer volume of the crowd, but small, intimate gigs, like the Summer Series, are equally as exciting for a musician.
"When you perform you feed off the energy of those listening and obviously being able to attract a big crowd and entertain them is great. But on the flip slide, a smaller crowd is slightly more personal."
Kodaline were part of the stellar line-up for this year's Summer Series at Somerset House with American Express(r), just one example of the enriched entertainment experiences available to Cardmembers.

David Bowie promises new music

David Bowie will release new music "soon".
The 'Space Oddity' hitmaker - who made a surprise comeback with the shock release of single 'Where Are We Now?' last January - has confirmed in a statement praising London that he is working on new material, a follow up to March 2013's 'The Next Day' album.
In a statement read out at a recent charity event at the 12 Bar in London, which was held to celebrate 50 years of the singer's music and raise money for the Terrance Higgins Trust, he said: "This city is even better than the one you were in last year, so remember to dance, dance, dance. And then sit down for a minute, knit something, then get up and run all over the place. Do it. Love on ya. More music soon. David."
A spokesperson for the 67-year-old singer confirmed that the statement came directly from the star.
Earlier this year, the 'Starman' singer fuelled speculation he was back in the recording studio during a congratulatory message to Columbia Records US chairman, Rob Stringer, who was honoured with the prestigious Strat Award at the Music Awards in April.
In the tongue-in-cheek message to his record label boss, David joked: "When he asked me if I minded if he took a few Saturdays off from his duties as percussionist on my new album this year in order to catch the Luton Town football club fixtures, how could I refuse? It's the least I could offer to the man who with his own hands pulled my album to Number One throughout the world."

Adele’s new album called 25

Adele's new album will be called '25', according to official Twitter account of the World Music Awards.
The 'Rolling In The Deep' singer has been busy working on her third LP for the past several months and now a tweet posted on the @WORLDMUSICAWARD account has claimed the title will be the much-rumoured '25'.
According to the post, Adele will also be heading out on tour in 2015.
The post read: "#adele confirms 2015 Tour After The Release Of Her New Album '25'! (sic)"
Adele previously hinted the LP would be called '25' after she turned 26 years old in May.
She made a post on her Twitter account which read: "Bye bye 25... See you again later in the year x (sic)"
The title '25' follows on from the age-related names of her last two records, '19' and '21'.
Since the phenomenal success of '21', which was originally released in 2011, Adele's only other release has been single 'Skyfall' - the theme song of the James Bond film of the same name.

Gogglebox star blasts ‘cringeworthy’ Lockie

James Lock has been branded "cringeworthy" by 'Gogglebox' star Scarlett Moffatt.
'The Only Way is Essex' lothario is accused of flaunting his celebrity status during a night out in Magaluf recently and Scarlett - who works on the party scene on the Spanish island, located in Majorca - was less than impressed by his antics.
She claimed: "I have never witnessed a more cringeworthy man in all my life, he thought he was the dog's b******s sitting there with his bottle of Grey Goose vodka.
"Then he asked my mate Nathan if he could borrow one euro for a spray of Lynx from the toilet attendant.
"My mate was like, 'Aren't you loaded, son?' But James revealed he never bothers taking money out with him anymore as he always gets free drinks."
Scarlett also alleges that Lockie - who has had an on/off relationship with co-star Danielle Armstrong - tried to flirt with another partygoer but was swiftly rejected.
Writing in her Daily Star newspaper column, she said: "She seemed to make her excuses and leave and later I saw him walk home with nothing but a sambuca-stained shirt."
Lockie recently escaped a prison sentence after being charged with possession of a Class C drug earlier this year.
Meanwhile, outspoken 'Gogglebox' star Scarlett had kinder words for fellow 'TOWIE' hunk Lewis Bloor and hopes his romance with Lauren Pope works out.
She wrote: "Watching him and Lauren Pope together, I feel like she could be the one to tame him. I hope so. Imagine how cute their babies would be."

Casey Batchelor loses a stone in four weeks

Casey Batchelor lost a stone in four weeks after being taunted by online bullies.
The 29-year-old glamour model - who has gone from nine stone to eight stone - was tired of receiving abuse from Twitter trolls over her "chubby" figure and was determined to banish her "wobbly bits" for good.
Talking about her dramatic weight loss, Casey shared: "I'm going to be in my bikini for most of the summer and I was fed up with cruel comments on Twitter about how I looked chubby and overweight. No one can say that now. I'm so much more toned - I've got rid of all my puppy fat.
"I did so much work and have got in the best shape of your life."
Casey was particularly hurt by comments about her weight when she appeared on 'Celebrity Big Brother' in January and made a conscious effort to shed the extra pounds once she left the house.
She lamented: "I hated the way I looked when I came out. If I put on weight, it shows. I had a puffiness around my face. I didn't feel good about myself and couldn't wear the kind of clothes that really show off my figure to its best effect.
"You could see my wobbly bits in the pictures. Who wants big love handles hanging over their trousers?"
The brunette beauty has now overhauled her eating habits using Forza Supplements' Raspberry K2 diet capsules and takes exercise as often as possible.
Casey explained: "I take one just before I exercise every day. They give me a little energy lift. They are also great for suppressing your appetite at weak moments. I'm a big fan of Oreos and I would always take one Raspberry K2 just when I was reaching for the cookie jar and the urge to snack would go away."
While she's pleased with the results of her strict diet and exercise regime, Casey admits there is only one part of her body she's still unhappy with - her breasts.
The glamour model used to be a 32GG but has dropped a cup size, leaving her with 32FFs and has said she wants to have a surgical lift when she's older.
She joked: "I don't want my boobs to be dangling around my ankles when I get in my 40s!"
