The Queen of England's racehorse has tested positive for drugs.
The five-year-old filly, named Estimate - which won at last year's Royal Ascot meet - was found to have consumed a prohibited substance and opioid morphine in a contaminated batch of feed, Buckingham Palace announced last night (22.07.14).
According to The Express newspaper, Her Majesty - who cheered on the 2013 Gold Cup winner at the race along with Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie - was informed of the news as she celebrated her grandson, Prince George's first birthday yesterday.
The Queen's Bloodstock and Racing Advisor, John Warren, has revealed that the British Horseracing Authority (BHA) have found five horses from various trainers which tested positive for morphine.
He said: "I can confirm that one of those horses was Estimate, the five year-old filly trained by Sir Michael Stoute and owned by The Queen. Initial indications are that the positive test resulted from the consumption of a contaminated feed product.
"Sir Michael is working closely with the feed company involved to discover how the product may have become contaminated prior to delivery to his stables.
"As the BHA investigates this matter, including potential links between the different cases, Sir Michael continues to offer his full co-operation."
Prince Charles has received a red squirrel for Prince George.
The 65-year-old royal was said to be "taken" by the gift for his one-year-old grandson along with cards and posters made by local children as he visited the Glendelvine Estate - a conservation centre for the rare woodland creatures - in Scotland yesterday (22.07.14).
The heir apparent to the British throne was presented with the toy made by the Scottish Wildlife Trust - of which he is a patron - after hearing how the trapping of grey squirrels is helping the native red species to thrive.
Ken Neil, who works on the Saving Scotland's Red Squirrels project, said: "He was most taken by it.
"It's quite large so we were joking that it was to scale because the Glendelvine red squirrels are so healthy.
"He was very interested in the work we're doing and obviously he has his own interest so he knows quite a bit about red squirrel conservation already so it was nice to have an enthusiastic audience."
Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Queen Elizabeth joined Prince William and Duchess Catherine to celebrate their son's first birthday yesterday at Kensington Palace.
Other guests included Catherine's parents Carole and Michael Middleton, her siblings James and Pippa and Queen Elizabeth's granddaughter Zara Phillips.
Spain's Queen Letizia posed for a selfie at the cinema.
The 41-year-old royal was on a date with her husband, King Felipe VI, at the Kinepolis cinema in Madrid, when she was approached by excited fans who were watching 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes' along with the couple.
Letizia placed an arm around one of the girls as they smiled for the shot, which quickly went viral over the internet.
According to Hello! magazine, the young girls described the newly-crowned queen as "very friendly" after she stopped to chat to them for some time following the photo.
It isn't the first-time the royal couple have posed for selfies with members of the public.
King Felipe VI - who was sworn in last month following his father Juan Carlos' abdication - and his wife are regularly spotted out and about via updates on the Spanish Royal House's Twitter account which has over 145,000 followers.
The pair also made their first oversees engagement as King and Queen last month when they visited the Pope in Rome, Italy.
Felipe and Letizia were greeted by the head of the papal household and spent the morning with Pope Francis before attending a meeting with the Secretary of the Vatican State, Pietro Parolin, and flying back to Madrid.

Example's wife is pregnant.
The rapper - whose real name is Elliot Gleave - married Australian TV presenter Erin McNaught last year and she's now taken to Twitter to reveal she's expecting their first child.
Alongside an image of her showing off her baby bump in a coral coloured bikini, she wrote: "So @example and I have been working on a secret project lately and thought it was about time we told you all! (sic)."
The 'One More Day (Stay With Me)' hitmaker - who confessed earlier this year that being married had made him a "different person" because he isn't cool anymore - previously revealed he'd lined up as many gigs for this year as possible because he and Erin wanted to start trying for a baby.
He said at the time: "This year's going to be crazy because I said to my manager at the end of last year, and my agent, just fill up this year with gigs because I know Erin's going to want kids soon."
The 32-year-old star will likely be by Erin's side when she gives birth to their son or daughter as he confessed that was why he was planning on taking a break from touring after this year.
He added: "I figured I don't want to be abroad whilst ... I don't wanna miss the birth of a child, you know..."
Billie Faiers named her daughter after her sister.
The 'TOWIE' star - who gave birth to her first child with her fiancé Greg Shephard earlier this month - announced the baby's name, Nellie, on Sunday night's (20.07.14) show and has since revealed the tot's middle name is to be Samantha in honour of her younger sibling, Sam.
She told OK! Magazine: "Greg and I thought it would be a lovely way to honour her as an auntie.
"I know that growing up, Samantha's always going to be there for her - and also, I really like the name Samantha."
Billie, 24 - who reduced her co-star Gemma Collins to tears when she showed off her bundle of joy on the latest episode of the ITV2 reality show - also revealed it was her mother who came up with the name Nellie.
She explained: "Mum and I were lying in bed and with the baby having a little snuggle, and Mum suddenly said: 'It's Nellie! She looks like a Nellie!' and immediately I was like, 'Yes, that's it!'
"So we started calling her Nelly and it is instantly clicked."
The pretty blonde and Greg, 29, had previously been struggling to agree on names for their newborn daughter.
She said: "We just haven't decided, it's so difficult. We've been Googling names and looking at her saying, 'Does she look like this?'
"All the women in our family have Elizabeth as their middle name so I think that will be hers.
"Greg liked the name Skyla but I was like, 'No way!'"
'Coronation Street' has been blasted by police over their restorative justice storyline.
The ITV soap recently aired scenes where Gail McIntyre (Helen Worth) met with Michael Rodwell (Les Dennis) in jail after he burgled her house but the plot - which has been branded "overly dramatic" and "disgraceful" - put a real-life crime victim off meeting the person who stole her credit card because she was "too scared".
Restorative Justice (RJ) worker Vickie Yardly did eventually get the woman - who had been in negotiations for four months - to meet the thief, who had also been put off by the show.
Vickie wrote to complain, slamming 'Coronation Street' bosses for their "completely inaccurate" storyline.
Tony Lloyd, Police and Crime Commissioner for Greater Manchester, added: "'Coronation Street' has done a fantastic job of raising important issues and bringing them to the public's attention. Unfortunately, on this one they have got it wrong."
Despite the complaints, show bosses insisted they consulted with the Restorative Justice Council to ensure accuracy in the storyline.
A spokesperson told The Sun newspaper: "We worked very closely with the Restorative Justice Council for this storyline, they helped throughout.
"Every case is different and ours is a fictional case.
Sir Anthony Hopkins and Evan Rachel Wood are to star in new HBO sci-fi drama 'Westworld'.
The Hollywood legend and 'True Blood' actress have been cast in the ambitious TV show which is based on Michael Crichton's 1973 movie of the same name, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The TV adaptation also has top pedigree behind the scenes as it will be produced by J.J. Abrams through his Bad Robot production company and 'The Dark Knight' co-writer Jonathan Nolan.
'Westworld', like its film inspiration, will centre on a futuristic amusement park filled with androids and is billed as "a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the future of sin".
Anthony - who won an Oscar for his role as Hannibal Lecter in 'The Silence of the Lambs' - will play Dr. Robert Ford, the visionary scientist behind Westworld who harbours a dark, unorthodox vision for the park.
Evan, meanwhile, will play Dolores Abernathy, a quintessential American farm girl who discovers her life has been a lie.
The show marks Anthony's first major TV role after building a lauded career in films such as 'Amistad', 'Nixon' and most recently, 'Noah'.
The original 'Westworld' movie starred Yul Brynner, James Brolin and Richard Benjamin.
Nicole Scherzinger is being lured to perform on both 'Strictly Come Dancing' and 'The X Factor'.
The 'Your Love' singer, 36, is at the centre of a tug of war between the BBC and ITV, with the former keen to see Nicole snub the chance to appear on her old show when she promotes her new album later this year.
An insider told the Daily Star: "Nicole is one of the sexiest pop babes around.
"When she releases her album everyone will want her on their show. 'Strictly' want to get the upper hand and feel having a former 'X Factor' judge on their show will do just that.
"If Nicole goes on 'The X Factor' then she will have to perform in front of Cheryl. The media furore it will create will be intense, everyone will be looking for some sort of clash between them."
The former Pussycat Dolls singer is due to release her new solo album at the same time 'Strictly' and 'The X Factor' return to screens, leaving Nicole with a big decision to make in terms of which show she appears on.
BBC bosses are keen for Nicole to perform one of her new tracks on their results shows, knowing it is likely to boost audience figures.
The American star quit the 'X Factor' judging panel earlier this year after two series on the ITV singing competition.
Tom Daley insists his TV career hasn't distracted him from diving.
The 20-year-old diver, who starred on ITV reality show 'Splash!' for two series, says winning a gold medal at the Olympics is still his top goal in life and doesn't feel his newfound fame as a TV star has harmed his training in any way.
He said: "The TV shows I've done have always fitted around my training and I learned to compartmentalise different aspects of my life from a very young age. I think it's good to have other interests and I actually think they benefit my diving as I go into each training session feeling fresh and motivated.
"My goal has always been winning an Olympic gold [medal], it's the only diving accolade I'm missing. I wouldn't train 30 hours a week, 50 weeks a year, if I didn't love what I do."
Tom, who also travelled the world for an ITV2 reality show, says his TV work has been a welcome addition to his life since leaving school.
He added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: "In terms of the TV shows, they've given me something else to focus on away from the pool.
"I'm not at school anymore, so if I didn't do anything else outside of diving I'd probably go mad!"
Kerry Washington's parents were "terrified" about her decision to be an actress.
The 37-year-old star may have been nominated for an Emmy award for her role as Olivia Pope in drama series 'Scandal', but her mother initially encouraged her to become a lawyer rather than pursue a career in TV and film.
When asked by Stylist magazine if her parents were fearful about her career change, former yoga supply teacher Kerry explained: "Terrified! My mother tried to talk me into doing a million other things. She used to say, 'Don't be an actor. Be a lawyer for actors.'
"I think every parent fears their child will be a starving artist - and with good reason because so many people wind up on that path. I'm very grateful they allowed me to pursue my dreams."
Kerry - who has three-month-old daughter Isabelle with husband Nnamdi Asomugha - did admit that she almost gave up on acting, after giving herself just one year to make it into a full time job.
She shared: "I had a really specific plan. I gave myself a year after undergraduate school to see if I could make some money. If it didn't work out I told myself I would go back to graduate or law school.
"If it didn't work out, I was willing to do other things for work. I wanted to at least give myself a shot, to invest in my own heart and passions.
"And I'm very lucky I was able to do a movie in that first year ['Our Song' in 2000] because I'm not sure I would've stuck with it otherwise. I'm very grateful that happened."
Katy Perry has posted a video of what appears to be her dressed in a giant pizza costume.
The 'Dark Horse' hitmaker has taken to her Instagram account to share a video of someone, likely herself, dressed in a head-to-toe pizza costume while playing with a small, fluffy dog.
The costume in question is a onesie-style jumpsuit complete with zip-up hood - meaning the fancy-dress enthusiast's face is hidden from the camera - and a cheese and pepperoni pizza design.
The 29-year-old singer - who is a big fan of fancy dress judging by the time she wore a McDonald's Happy Meal sweatshirt on the red carpet and the night she dressed as a giant bowl of popcorn while she promoted her concert movie - captioned the video, "Killer pizza bruh", followed by a number of emoticons of slices of pizza and sharp knives.
The mysterious figure is seen sitting crouched down on their knees, bending backwards and forwards, giggling and roaring while a playful dog chewing on the costume's sleeve continues to bark in excitement.
Meanwhile, Katy recently revealed she'd like to star in the musical version of the cult film 'Clueless', according to the movie's director Amy Heckerling - who has penned the lyrics for the stage show.
Amy said: "[It's in the] really, really, early, early stages.
"Katy Perry has expressed interest, and I love her to death."
