Harry Styles described feeling like he's "in the middle of" his "career highlight" as headlined the Meltdown festival with an orchestral performance...
Justin Theroux kept his tattoos on show in 'The Leftovers' because he didn't want lengthy make-up sessions.
The 43-year-old actor shocked fans by displaying a number of inkings in his many shirtless appearances on the programme and admitted he was happy to have them worked into his character, police chief Kevin Garvey, rather than undergo a long and boring cover-up process every day.
He said: "Those are my tattoos, correct. I've been concealing them for years.
"But it was really more a question of, 'Hey, you're doing a TV show -- do you really want to get to the makeup chair four hours before everybody else at five in the morning and go to the trouble of removing them all with make-up?'
"Let's just say that this guy has some tattoos and leave it at that. Which actually worked out, because the kid playing my son is has tattoos, too, so thematically, it kind of works."
Justin - who is engaged to Jennifer Aniston - is enjoying watching the show unfold because he made a decision early on not to find out what would happen to his character throughout the season and as a result he understands fans are still left with unanswered questions more than halfway through the series.
Asked if he understands why fans are asking what is going on, he told Vulture: "I get that. It's exactly the same question that I had when I would get scripts.
"I was getting scripts one at a time and at the beginning of the season [showrunner] Damon [Lindelof] asked me, 'Do you want to know the super-arc of your character?' You know, there's the arc of each episode and then there's the super-arc of the season.
"And I think smartly, I said, 'No, I'd probably rather find out in real time, in my own way.'
"That paid dividends in that, as we filmed it, I was able to watch the show [unfold] in sort of the same way everyone else is now watching it. "
Michael Jackson used to pee on his floors and track animal faeces through his house.
The late 'Thriller' hitmaker - who died of acute Propofol intoxication in June 09 - has been branded "the dirtiest, most unsanitary person in Hollywood" by a number of maids who worked at his Neverland ranch and claim he changed when he was first accused of child abuse in 1993.
One maid said: "Michael sometimes ran around where the animals were, and he'd track . . . poop throughout the house and think nothing of it.
"Then, if you said something, he'd threaten to make doo-doo snowballs and throw it at you."
Another added: "His whole life changed after 1993 when he had to pay that boy off. I'm telling you, he was the dirtiest, most unsanitary person in Hollywood."
And a third maid recalled how Oprah Winfrey and Dame Elizabeth Taylor visited the property for an interview in 1993 and though it had been scrubbed throughout, the 'Billie Jean' singer horrified his staff by relieving himself on the floor shortly after they left.
A third maid told the New York Post newspaper: "He literally peed on the floor of the entryway, right where you saw Oprah walk in. It was surreal. He just stood there, unzipped his trousers and watered the floor."
And the unsavoury star - who attempted to clean up his habits when eldest son Prince was born in 1997 - would sleep in "filth", forcing his staff to have to "sneak" into his bedroom to change the sheets.
The third maid said: "There were many times I had to sneak in and change his linen. I couldn't understand how he'd sleep in such filth," Maid No. 2 said. "There'd be socks and underpants in the bed and half-eaten chicken and potato chips, empty bottles of wine and whiskey on the floor.
"And you knew he wet himself -- the place reeked."
The maids also claimed their famous employer was a hoarder who complained if they moved his things and held on to some very bizarre items.
One of the five unnamed employees who spoke out said: "I'd say there were two [odd items]. A soiled baby's diaper, and a pair of Fruit of the Loom that was obviously worn by someone who was either a teen or an early-age adult."
David Arquette is buying a strip club.
The 42-year-old actor and his business partners have been secretly negotiating to buy the famous Crazy Girls nightspot on Sunset Blvd in Los Angeles, and have most recently bid $1.6 million.
However, the current owners are said to be looking for $100,000 more, so the purchase is not yet near completion.
According to TMZ, David - who also owns Hollywood clubs Hooray Henry's and Bootsy Bellows - plans to turn Crazy Girls into an "upscale burlesque club with an old school Hollywood feel.
The 'Scream' actor - who has 10-year-old daughter Coco with ex-wife Courteney Cox and three-month-old son Charlie with fiancee Christina McLarty - previously revealed Bootsy Bellows was named in honour of his late mother Brenda, a former burlesque star who used the name as her alias.
Joking about finding a racy lingerie picture of his glamour model mother when he was younger, he explained: "I'm like, 'But you're naked!' She was like, 'The human body is beautiful.' So we opened this club, called Bootsy Bellows, and its singing and dancing and puppets. Because I'm a weirdo and I love puppets."
And the club is decorated with pictures of Brenda during her burlesque days.
He said: "People are like, 'Dude, your mum is naked all over your club.' It was the '60s and New York. Later she went on to become a marriage and family counsellor. This is a way of honouring her youth."
Miley Cyrus has got a new pet piglet named Bubba Sue.
The 'Wrecking Ball' hitmaker, who is well-known for her love of dogs, took to Instagram to reveal the latest member of the Cyrus household to the world.
Miley, 21, said: "newest member to the fam #bubbasue."
In one of the pictures of herself and Bubba Sue, Miley is seen giving her newest pet a smooch while wearing a Bob Marley T-shirt and some sparkling eyeshadow.
Another snap shows Miley flashing a huge smile as she holds her cute new pet to her chest, with the former 'Hannah Montana' star taking the photo with one hand and holding Bubba Sue in the other.
The final photo shows the 'Party In The USA' star - with her famous blonde hair pulled into a little knot and wearing a stylish denim jacket - sat down cradling her new pet in a soft white towel.
The maternal side Miley displays in the photos represents a marked diversion from her typically outlandish behaviour, which last week included letting a fan grope her for $900.
The singer encouraged lucky fan David to put his hands over her breasts and pretend to kiss her during a photo opportunity after a gig in New York.
Daniel Radcliffe "hated" watching his performance in 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince'.
Radcliffe, 25, has amassed a huge personal fortune on the back of the Potter film franchise - which is centred on the books of J.K. Rowling - but says his performance in the sixth edition was "complacent" and "very one-note".
The actor told the Mail on Sunday newspaper: "I never liked watching myself on film but I do make myself sit through it.
"I think it comes from not actually realising I didn't have to go to my own premieres and watch the film - that's something I've only just realised you don't have to do. I always went along and sat with everyone else watching the movie.
"And that's why it's hard to watch a film like 'Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince', because I'm just not very good in it. I hate it. My acting is very one-note and I can see I got complacent and what I was trying to do just didn't come across."
Radcliffe added his best performance in the Potter franchise came in the fifth movie, 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix', which was released in 2007 and also stars Emma Watson and Rupert Grint.
Paramount Pictures is to make a 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' sequel.
The studio has only just released 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' - starring Megan Fox, Will Arnett and William Fichtner - and early success at the box office has convinced Paramount to make another flick based on the popular TV series.
Adam Goodman, the president of Paramount's film group, said that launching a new take on the Turtles "was a daunting task because as fans of them ourselves we felt a great responsibility to ensure audiences were going to experience everything they loved about the Turtles, while also getting to see them brought to life in a way they had never been seen before".
He added: "The result exceeded our high expectations and the response to the film is beyond great, making it all the more fun to get started on the continuation of their story."
Early box-office figures show that 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' - which is yet to be released in the UK - raked in nearly $100 million over its opening weekend.
Paramount has already confirmed that Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec will once again write the new movie, with the studio announcing a release date of June 3, 2016.
Chris Martin wants to write songs for Rihanna.
The Coldplay frontman personally approached the 'Rude Boy' hitmaker to ask if he can submit some tracks for her next album because he is such a big fan of her.
He told Fresh 102.7 New York radio station: "I don't even think she asked. I just said, 'Please can I try something?'"
Despite his impressive back catalogue, the singer/songwriter - who previously collaborated with Rihanna on the Coldplay track 'Princess of China' - is still worried his songs won't make the final cut.
He said: "She has so many amazing people writing for her. It's like trying to win 'American Idol', getting a song on Rihanna's album."
Chris - who split from his wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, earlier this year - confirmed him and Rihanna have been working in the studio together.
The 37-year-old musician - whose hits with Coldplay include 'The Scientist' and 'Fix You' - said: "I love being in the studio with Rihanna. It wasn't necessarily with ... I was working for her."
Chris also revealed he wants the 26-year-old pop superstar to appear on Coldplay's next album.
When asked if she would be making an appearance, Chris said: "I hope so, yeah. I have a really nice song which ... maybe, I hope so."
Britain's Prince Harry admits he could "never prepare" himself for the things he saw in Afghanistan.
The 29-year-old Army captain - who underwent two tours of duty in the region in 2007 and 2012 has spoken about the "horrendous" things he saw, such as children killed by roadside bombs and forces lying in the battlefield.
He wrote in The Sunday Times newspaper: "I had never seen it first-hand.
"By 'it' I mean the injuries that were being sustained largely due to improvised explosive devices (IEDs). Loss of life is as tragic and devastating as it gets, but to see young lads - much younger than me - wrapped in plastic and missing limbs, with hundreds of tubes coming out of them, was something I never prepared myself for."
Harry has been busy organising the Invictus Games, which will see teams of injured service personnel from 14 countries compete in sporting events, and says he was "hooked" on creating the competition after meeting competitors from the Warrior Games in America in 2012 and watching the contest in Colorado last year.
He added: "It was one of the most incredible and inspiring things I had ever seen ... some of those competing had been lying in a bed no more than eight months earlier, being told they would never walk again.
"Given the grit and determination they have shown to move beyond their injuries, they would be a fantastic addition to any team."
And Harry has promised spectators of the London event, which takes place next month, they will be in for a thrilling time.
He said: "They strive for perfection every day, so don't think for one second that spectators will get anything less than 150 percent effort from the competitors. Lives will be changed for the better over a weekend and not just for the competitors - believe me!"
Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has branded Louis Walsh "50 faced".
The 'Crazy Stupid Love' singer hit out at her former manager during a huge audience at the 'X Factor' boot camp auditions in Wembley when he advised a hopeful to work on his face after he pulled a series of bizarre expressions during his performance.
Cheryl retorted: "Work on your face."
Louis replied: "Yeah, but I have only got one".
Cheryl - who refuses to sit next to the Irishman on the panel - then hit back: "And the 50 others".
Meanwhile, fellow judge Mel B cried twice as she struggled to narrow down the hopefuls in her Boys category to the six who will compete at judges' houses.
It was reported yesterday (10.08.14) that while Mel will care for the boys, Louis has been handed the Groups, Simon the Over 25s and Cheryl was thrilled to learn she will mentor the Girls.
A source said: "Cheryl was thrilled. She's been teasing Simon non-stop since saying he may as well quit now because there's no way he will win.
"Everyone knows he's not happy. The over-25s are stronger this year than previous years but it is still the category none of the judges wanted."
Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow are neighbours.
The Coldplay frontman is reportedly renting a mansion from Los Angeles Lakers manager Mitch Kupchak in the Hamptons and the lavish property is just a "few blocks and a short walk" away from the house his estranged wife - with who he has children Apple, 10, and Moses, eight - is staying in for the summer, the New York Post newspaper's Page Six column reports.
The pair have fuelled rumours of a reconciliation in recent weeks as they have been spotted numerous times together in the New York resort, including in restaurants with their children and at the premiere of movie 'Hector and the Search for Happiness'.
A source said recently: "They have spent more time together than they did when they were a couple.
"When they are out together, all they do is laugh and act flirty and playful."
Meanwhile, Gwyneth has spoken out about her "misguided" search for perfection and fear of not being seen to "fail" by other people.
The 41-year-old beauty wrote on her lifestyle website GOOP: "Striving for achieving a sense of perfection has been a misguided belief in my life, often leading me down the wrong path.
"It has made me, at times, place value on the wrong things. It has made me not listen to my true self for fear that I would somehow fail in another's eyes. I was curious as to how the idea of perfection has become so pervasive in our society, how it begins, how it hurts us and perhaps, even, if it carries a certain benefit."
Sarah Harding has branded Cheryl Fernandez-Versini's butt tattoo "ridiculous".
The 32-year-old singer - who was part of Girls Aloud alongside Cheryl for 11 years - thinks the 'Crazy Stupid Love' hitmaker's huge rose-print inking is meaningless.
Sarah - who has a phoenix tattooed on her back - told The Sun newspaper's TV magazine: "Oh God, it's ridiculous. My tattoo has meaning. I don't know what hers means."
The blonde beauty is happy to fight Cheryl for the limelight as their shows, 'Tumble' - on which she is a contestant - and 'The X Factor', go head-to-head for Saturday night's top television ratings.
She quipped: "'X Factor'. What 'X Factor'? Who knows if I'll tune in. Let's not talk about ITV. I'm a BBC girl these days."
Cheryl sat for three eight-hour sessions to complete her infamous tattoo, but insisted she didn't find the pain "too bad".
She previously said: "I have three tattoos, this one, one on the back of my neck and the rose. The guy that did it is a proper artist, he does oil paintings, he's unbelievably talented.
"It took about three 7-8 hour sessions. It was fine, I didn't get it all done in the one go and he's really amazing at what he does so it wasn't too bad."
Kendall Jenner reportedly "threw money" in a waitress' face last week.
The 18-year-old reality TV star was dining with Stephen Baldwin's daughter Hailey at Mercer Kitchen in New York and grew frustrated when she was declined alcohol as she is underage, so left without paying the full bill.
A source said: "The staff wouldn't serve her [alcohol] because she's underage.
"Kendall got up and left and didn't pay for all the food . . . about $60 worth, and without a tip."
Her waitress, Blaine Morris - who appeared in US TV show 'Skins' - followed the pair outside to ask Kendall to pay her bill, prompting the model to hurl money at her.
The source added to the New York Post newspaper's Page Six column: "Kendall and Hailey started laughing.
"Kendall took a couple of $20 bills out of her wallet, threw them at the server and walked away, not even counting if it was enough or if it included a tip."
Blaine later tweeted: "That horrible moment you chase a Kardashian down the street because she forgot to pay her bill to be thrown money in your face."
However, while a spokesperson for Kendall didn't comment, a representative for her pal insisted they were "polite".
The spokesperson said: "They thought everything was paid for. Kendall was polite and asked 'Does this cover it?' They didn't run."
