Stellan Skarsgard confirms Avengers: Age of Ultron role

Stellan Skarsgard has confirmed he will star in 'Avengers: Age of Ultron'.
The 63-year-old actor will reprise his role as Dr. Erik Selvig in the 'Avengers Assemble' sequel but admits he is only going to make a "small appearance" in the hotly anticipated superhero movie.
He said: "I'm going to be in 'Avengers: Age of Ultron', a small appearance.
"I don't know what I'm allowed to say. But usually they call me in if they need something explained [to the audience].
"There's a lot of explanations to do when it comes to that universe."
It didn't appear to take much to convince Stellan to return for the 'Avengers' sequel as he admits he loves working with the studio because there is a personal touch and he knows he can give producer Kevin Feige a ring if he has an issue with something.
He added to Total Film magazine: "I like working with them because if I have a problem with the scene, I have Kevin Feige's number. I can call the head of the studio. You can't do that when you work on a normal Disney film or with Warner Bros. or Paramount."
Stellan also played Erik is 2011's 'Thor' and the sequel 'Thor: The Dark World'.
'Avengers: Age of Ultron' has completed filming and will be released on May 1, 2015.

Dynamo to reinvent the live magic show

Dynamo intends to "reinvent the live magic show".
The 31-year-old magician has announced that the fourth series of 'Dynamo: Magician Impossible' will be the last, with the Bradford-born trickster set to make the move into the live arena.
He explained: "I think there are so many opportunities in the live arena for what I do, so it will be a great chance to kind of reinvent the live magic show.
"I can think back to David Copperfield and Paul Daniels, but I think in this day and age, there aren't that many magic shows in theatres so I think it will be interesting to take a look at that."
Dynamo also revealed that one of his ambitions is to perform magic in front of hip-hop star Eminem.
He told BANG Showbiz: "I think it would be pretty cool to perform magic in front of Eminem - I'm just a huge fan of his work. He's also a big comic book fan and so am I, so we can just geek out together."

Sam Smith got a ‘lovely response’ from his muse

Sam Smith got a "lovely response" from the man he dedicated his album to.
The 'Stay With Me' hitmaker released his debut record 'In the Lonely Hour' in May, but the inspiration behind the songs - which came from waiting to experience reciprocal long - didn't know the full-length was about him until the singer made the revelation.
Asked if his muse was aware of his feeling, Sam said: "Not until about three months ago. I told him a week before the album came out. He'd heard the record, but didn't have a clue it was about him ... He just said, 'Are you OK?'
"It was a lovely response. The reason I told him was because it was like closure to me. When I fell in love with this guy last year, it was the third person my life I had had really strong feelings for and they'd never loved me back.
"And this album was almost a way for me to break the cycle. I will never let myself fall in love with someone again in that way ... I have to believe it because I want to fall in love with someone who loves me back."
Meanwhile, Sam blasted the idea he 'came out' as gay earlier this year, insisting he has been open about his sexuality ever since he told his mother.
He told the Guardian newspaper: "I didn't come out. I came out when I came out to my mum! No, that side of things to me is just normality.
"I find it weird when people used the expression 'coming out' like it's a massive party of relief."

Terry Jones says Robin Williams was funny on a totally different level.
The Monty Python star has praised his fellow comedy legend for his "humility", and insisted while the late actor - who committed suicide on Monday (11.08.14) - was so talented he could have been justified having "a huge ego" but didn't.

"He could have had a huge ego, but he didn't."
Terry joins a number of stars and fans around the world paying tribute to the comic following his death - which is believed to be caused by suicide via asphyxiation - aged 63, including filmmaker Steven Spielberg, who directed him in 'Hook' in 1991.

He recently explained: "I didn't work with him. I met him for the first time at the Oscars a long time ago. I was standing in the green room and at that time my English was not very good. I see so many people in front of me and suddenly [I hear], 'Jackie Chan! [I'm a] big fan!'
"I didn't respond because it was Robin Williams. [I said], 'I'm a big fan, great to see you.' And then he was gone ... I don't really know him, but I think today I've lost my best friend."

"Of course I have been [drunk] a few times in my life. I can actually have fun and enjoy myself without having to take it too far. A little party never killed nobody - that's from ['The Great Gatsby'], right?
