Paddy Jones ‘devastated’ over BGT injury

Paddy Jones is "absolutely devastated" after withdrawing from 'Britain's Got Talent'.
The 79-year-old salsa dancer, who wowed the judges in the auditions with her dance partner Nico Espinosa, suffered an injury during rehearsals for the live semi-finals and has been forced to quit the show.
Paddy lamented to The Sun newspaper: "It's heartbreaking.
"I'll be flying back to London this afternoon but I cannot compete at the weekend. I'm feeling much better but there is no way I can dance - I've been told I won't be able to for another month at least.
"I'm absolutely devastated. I was really looking forward to competing."
Paddy and Nico were put straight through to the live shows when judge Amanda Holden pressed the Golden Buzzer after their show-stopping audition.
Amanda is sad her favourite act won't be able to perform again, but says Paddy's health is of the utmost importance.
She said: "Ever since I first saw Paddy dance I fell in love with her. I was so looking forward to her and Nico wowing us with another amazing routine in the semi-finals and I really think she could have won the whole show.
"The most important thing though is that she makes a speedy recovery and gets back to living life to the full."

Marilyn Manson joins Sons Of Anarchy

Marilyn Manson has joined the cast of 'Sons of Anarchy' for the final season.
The 45-year-old rocker will play "a white supremacist prison shot-caller" named Ron Tully, who is set to help the show's protagonist Jackson 'Jax' Teller (Charlie Hunnam) "expand his power base" in the programme, which portrays police and motorcycle gangs in California.
Manson and his dad, Hugh Warner, have always been huge fans of the show which was created by Kurt Sutter, and the shock rocker admitted he is joining the programme to make his father proud.
He said:"'Sons' has been such a big part of my life, as well as my father's.
"The very heart of 'SOA' is about [the father-son] relationship ... So I was determined to make him proud by being involved in what will probably be remembered as the most amazing piece of television cinema. After all, the very heart of 'SOA' is about that relationship. So, now all I need is a motorcycle."
Manson - whose real name is Brian Hugh Warner - has previously appeared in shows including 'Californication', 'Once Upon a Time' and 'Eastbound & Down'.

Angelina Jolie: Shiloh would never play a princess

Angelina Jolie "knew" her daughter Shiloh would turn down a role in 'Maleficent'.
The actress initially offered the part of young Aurora to the seven-year-old tomboy, but the youngster thought the idea of playing a princess was "very funny", so it went to her five-year-old sister Vivienne instead.
Angelina said: "We knew she would [say no]. We mentioned the idea of playing a princess and she obviously thought it was very funny. She's not that kind of girl."
Angelina - who also raises sons Maddox, 12, Pax, 10, and Vivienne's twin Knox, as well as daughter Zahara, nine, with fiance Brad Pitt - was delighted at how easily her youngest girl adjusted to being on camera.
She told 'Access Hollywood': "That's just Vivienne. We call her my shadow. She's a very... she's wonderfully affectionate, very much a mommy's girl and so it was a natural fit. It was very easy and very fun to do."
Meanwhile, Angelina's co-star Sam Riley has revealed his 90-year-old grandfather is one of the actress' biggest fans.
He told E! News: "It was my grandfather's 90th birthday while we were shooting and they changed the schedule so I could go home.
"She signed him a birthday card, which is pride of place in the kitchen. He shows it to everybody who comes around."
And the brunette beauty also impressed the actor's parents.
He added: "When my mom and dad came to visit she was so lovely with them that they floated back home. They're still telling everyone."

Kanye West’s lengthy wedding speech

Kanye West's wedding speech lasted 45 minutes.
The 'Bound 2' rapper reportedly stunned guests at his wedding to Kim Kardashian in Florence, Italy, with his lengthy monologue, in which he reportedly mainly spoke about himself, while he and his new bride were also said to have left their loved ones bored with a lengthy first dance.
Their friend John Legend played a custom-built marble piano and the couple insisting on dancing alone to five of his songs, with a light only on them.
A source told the New York Post newspaper's Page Six column: "It felt like it went on forever."
While Kanye's best friend Jay Z failed to attend the wedding at Forti di Belvedere with his wife Beyonce, the couple's gift to the newlyweds was given pride of place among the presents.
The megastars has sent a gold-dipped bottle of Chianti to wish the pair well, and instead of a cork, the drink had a diamond filling the neck of the bottle.
In order to keep the nuptials private, Kim and Kanye - who have 11-month-old daughter North together - held their wedding on a grassy ridge at the top of the fort, so had to hire a crane to lift every item used for the celebrations up a staggering 70 metres to the summit.
Among the items which needed lifting was a 15 metre-high gold box, which contained the bathrooms.
One source said: "Their toilet was the star of the show."

Kiefer Sutherland wants London pub

Kiefer Sutherland wants to buy a London pub.
The 47-year-old actor has been shooting '24: Live Another Day' in the city and would love to set up a business in the UK because he thinks the bars are the "best in the world".
He said: "British pubs are the best in the world. They are pretty much the only ones that have any authenticity about them.
"Every country in the world tries to recreate or replicate a British or Irish pub but they never get it quite right.
"I would love to buy a pub in London, that would be so cool."
And despite his own fame, Kiefer insists he doesn't want to open a celebrity hangout, just an ordinary pub.
He added to The Sun newspaper: "I wouldn't be looking for it to be a super-trendy place, just a real British pub where real locals come for a drink."
The multi-millionaire actor was recently spotted dining at a Toby Carvery, where meals cost just £6.50, in Aldenham, Hertfordshire, East England.
Waitress Laura Knight said: "He was friendly and enjoyed his meal. He had a carvery and a drink and left very happy."

Kelly Brook weds?

Kelly Brook has hinted she's got married.
The brunette model posted a picture on her Instagram account of herself and David McIntosh on the Eurostar to France, and referred to him as her "husband" and also alluded to "wedding celebrations".
Alongside the photograph, she wrote: "Look how happy my husband looks 🙂 #Eurostar#France #WeddingCelebrations @grifco @laurentoub (sic)"
Although the news hasn't been confirmed, Kelly announced her engagement to David last month via her Instagram page, posting a picture of them with a balloon bearing the word 'Engaged'.
Kelly and David - a former royal marine - have had an on/off relationship since they met on New Year's Eve (31.01.14) and it was previously claimed they "rushed into the engagement".
Although David spent a large amount of time at Kelly's north London home in the early stages of their romance, the pair reportedly split up shortly after Valentine's Day (14.02.14) but soon got back together.
And it was also claimed the 34-year-old beauty had to buy her own engagement ring.
A source said: "David proposed without a ring and friends think Kelly probably shelled out for her own.
"He's hardly the most romantic man in the world and she's got far more cash than him."
"They rushed into the engagement and then realised they needed a ring to prove it's for real when they got photographed together. Her friends are privately saying they don't think the romance will last."

Jimmy Page: There were no superstars in Led Zep

Jimmy Page insists there were no superstars in Led Zeppelin because they played as a band.
The 70-year-old guitarist, who was a founding member of the group, also made up of singer Robert Plant, bassist and keyboard player John Paul Jones and late drummer John Bonham, and claims he knew the group were going to be a success.
He told The Sun newspaper: "Every musician dreams of being in a group like Led Zeppelin," he raves, his dark eyes lit up.
"I was really fortunate to be a founder member. And I knew absolutely from our first album, it was going to be massive. The group was fantastic and we could deliver in live situations.
"We played as a band, each and every one of us... as opposed to one superstar surrounded by other musicians."
The band are now reissuing their nine studio albums from June 3, with each disc matched to a second set with different versions and lost outtakes for die-hard fans.
Jimmy admits he became slightly obsessed with making sure the reissue campaign was worth it by going through all of the Led Zeppelin archives for new material and he "left no stone unturned."
He explains: "I didn't want material from the companion discs to be poo-pooed with someone saying, 'Right, oh well, it's actually on a bootleg already. It's available'.
"So I asked a fellow who listens to bootlegs. That was a test. I thought he might say, 'Well, 60 per cent unheard'. But he said, 'I haven't heard any of it'. I thought, job well done."
Jimmy insists he knew the project was the right thing to do because in five years' time people will look back at the releases.
He added: "They'll be comparing takes and considering them to be a major part of the whole structure."

Robert Pattinson’s audition nerves

Robert Pattinson gets "cripplingly nervous" at auditions.
The 28-year-old actor insists he is "bad" at showing his talents when trying to land a role and the whole experience makes him very unhappy.
He said: "I hate auditioning. I just can't do it. I get so nervous, like cripplingly nervous. I'm bad at them, and I feel awful afterward."
Robert can next be seen starring as a gang member on a road trip in 'The Rover' and was particularly nervous before auditioning for the movie as he wanted the role so badly.
He told The Hollywood Reporter: "It was terrifying. It's kind of rare that I really, really want stuff."
The 'Twilight Saga' star almost gave up acting when he was 21 because his first Hollywood audition, for romantic comedy 'Post Grad', went so badly.
He said: "I was so into the script of it and thought I knew exactly what I was doing. And then I went in and just completely blew it. And honestly, I remember talking to my family afterward and going, 'I'm done. I can't handle how gut-wrenching it is.' And I kind of knew that I was messing it up. It was my own fault."
The British star can no longer remember what life was like before he found global fame, and is even used to being followed around by photographers.
He said: "You figure out ways to deal with it. It's been such a long time now, it just becomes what your life is. I can't even really remember what my life was like before."
