Courteney Cox got engaged at Jennifer Aniston's house.
The 'Cougar Town' star agreed to marry Snow Patrol star Johnny McDaid in June and he was forced to hastily arrange his proposal as he wanted to involve her 10-year-old daughter Coco - whose father is the actress' ex-husband David Arquette - but the youngster was going away to camp.
Courteney explained: "Johnny first asked Coco. He said, 'I'd like to marry your mom,' and gave her a little diamond ring. She said, 'Great, I'm going to camp tomorrow. Let's do it right now.'
"So, they decided they wanted to do it that night because we were leaving for Turks and Caicos and she was going to camp. "We went to Jen's house for dinner because it was Coco's birthday and she was godmom.
"They made a plan to count down from three and when they got to one, he was gonna get down on his knee and say, 'Will you marry me?' and she was gonna say, 'Will you marry him?' They planned it out. They found the perfect tree that branches that led to one trunk. It was just beautiful."
However, the 50-year-old actress admits her "bored" daughter kept trying to rush Johnny, 38, into popping the question.
Speaking to TV talk show host Jimmy Kimmel, she added: "No one knew this was going to happen because it was just a dinner for, essentially, me and Coco. Coco got a little bored, as she does, and right after we were at the bar having a drink, she said, 'Three!' Johnny's like, 'No, not now!' So she's like, 'All right'.
"So, then we go to dinner and there's a salad course or whatever and she's like, 'Oh, my God!' and hits the salad glass, 'Three!' She kept jumping the gun. Finally she waited until after dinner. She was literally about to fall asleep."

Natasha Hamilton has given birth to a baby girl.
The 32-year-old singer's boyfriend 5ive member Ritchie Neville has revealed on Twitter the Atomic Kitten star delivered the couple's first chilld together last night (22.09.14).
He tweeted: "Daughter was born last night. Mother and baby doing great. @NatashaOfficial did the most amazing job and I have even bigger respect. (sic)"
In further posts, Ritchie gushed the newborn is "beautiful" and also shared an inspirational quote from Nat King Cole.
He tweeted: "Baby is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.
"And fatherhood, in words of Nat King Cole "I have often walked down this street before, but the pavement always stayed beneath my feet before (sic)"
It seems Natasha new her baby was coming on Monday as in a Twitter post she revealed she had been bouncing on a maternity ball - something which helps alleviate the pain of labour and bring the baby down.
She tweeted: "Awake ... more ball bouncing..."
Former 'X Factor' winner Joe McElderry ‏was one of the first of their famous friends to congratulate them on the birth, writing on Twitter: "@RitchieNeville @NatashaOfficial congrats to you both!! Lotsa love!!! (sic)"
The couple - who began dating last year after both starring in the same series of ITV2 show 'The Big Reunion' - previously revealed that they had already decided the baby would be called Ella.
Natasha was due to give birth on September 26, but had a false alarm earlier this month when she believed she was going into labour at bandmate Kerry Katona's wedding, spending the night in hospital before returning home.
On Friday, Natasha appeared eager for the arrival of the child, tweeting: "Good morning! I'm feeling giddy as I've reached my final week of pregnancy:) come on now baby, mummy, daddy & bro's so ready to meet u now x (sic)"
Natasha already has three sons, Josh, 11, with nightclub owner Fran Cosgrave, Harry, nine, with dancer Gavin Hatcher and Alfie, three, with ex-husband Riad Erraji.

Idris Elba was presented with the MOBO Inspiration Award today (23.09.14) - an honour he described as "very special".
The actor-and-DJ is the first ever recipient of the accolade, which has been created by Kanya King, the founder of the awards.
According to Kanya, Idris was selected to be the inaugural winner due to his determination to "help and inspire the next generation of talent" in the UK and because he is an "individual who has achieved formidable success in his respective field, against all odds and as such acts as an inspirational figurehead".
The 'Prometheus' star was presented with the prize at the MOBO nominations announcement event, held at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club in London, and although he was genuinely humbled to win it, Idris was relieved it wasn't a differently titled award.
Upon being handed his statuette by Kanya, he said: "I thought you were going to say Lifetime Achievement Award or then - I'm just too young. I want to say thank you so much this is an amazing honour. I never thought I'd ever hold one of these. I think the spirit of MOBO is about growing, you know, and if I was just a musician then I wouldn't get one of these but if I am someone that believes in life expanding your horizons, just like MOBO is doing, and trying to inspire others to do the same then this is a very special award for me and I'm very thankful for it."
Idris hopes the success he has achieved in his career will inspire the "millions" of other talented people to follow and fulfil their dreams.
He added: "You know my history, I've been very honest about all the sides of my journey, I didn't have success very early and I went through some very dark times but the main thing I kept doing was to keep looking for inspiration. I also kept growing and it hasn't stopped and I want to keep doing that and I also want to inspire others.
There are millions of me sitting at home right now and they don't know it and it's good to get this sort of platform and say, 'Come one guys, go for it.' "
The MOBO Awards take place at Wembley Arena in London on October 22.

The raven-haired beauty got very emotional as she expressed her feelings for the 54-year-old music mogul - who turns 55 on October 7 - while making a speech at the bash at west London restaurant Scalini.
Singer Lucy Kay told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Lauren's speech was emotional, she was crying and saying how much she loved him."
The 36-year-old beauty - who has seven-month-old son Eric with Simon - wasn't the only one to make a speech at the party as the 'X Factor' boss' fellow 'Britain's Got Talent' judge David Walliams also took to the microphone and continued their bromance by pretending to be Simon's boyfriend.
A party source added to the publication: "There was a few speeches and David Walliams did one which was very funny.
"It was what David's humour is always like with Simon, he was playing out the boyfriend role."
Several other stars were also in attendance at the bash including Simon's fellow 'X Factor' judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and her new husband Jean-Bernard.

The birthday boy was presented with a comical cake which featured a figurine of his baby Eric sitting in the middle of a calorific 'X Factor' judging panel alongside Simon's pet pooches Squiddly and Diddly.
A message in front of the tasty table read: "New judging line-up."
Guests were treated to a slap-up meal of Simon's favourite cuisine, spaghetti bolognaise, at the bash and some partied until the early hours.

Bruce Jenner has filed a response to Kris Jenner's divorce petition.
The former Olympian submitted documents hours after his estranged wife - who he split from last year after 23 years of marriage - yesterday (22.09.14) in which he asked a judge to agree to the same terms set out by the showbiz matriarch, that they have joint physical and legal custody of their youngest daughter Kylie, 17.
Like, Kris, Bruce asked for his own "jewelry and other personal effects," and "earnings and accumulations...from and after the date of separation".
According to RadarOnline.com, Bruce doesn't want to pay spousal support, which is also in line with Kris' petition, which asked the judge to bar the court from awarding spousal support.
The couple announced they had split last October, but the court documents state they separated on June 1 2013.
At the time of the announcement, 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star Kris vowed she and Bruce would remain "best friends".
She said: "We are living separately and we are much happier this way.
"But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends, and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority.
"We ended a marriage, but that's not the end of our friendship. I will always love him, but we are no longer a couple in that way."

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie took their children bowling at the weekend.
The couple - who married last month - took time out from working on their new movie, 'By the Sea', to have fun with Maddox, 13, Pax, 10, Zahara, nine, Shiloh, eight, and six-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox at Lucky Jack's Bar, Grill and Bowling in Victoria, Gozo, Malta and spent around two hours playing the game.
A source told E! News: "All of the kids were present, along with three security guards.
"They spent about two hours at the bowling alley. Everyone was really happy and the kids were joking around with one another."
Following the family outing, on Sunday (21.09.14) Angelina toured a Maltese Navy shop, where she met sailors, government officials and other crew members and impressed those on board.
One source said: "She was very kind and gracious.
"She listened to what everyone had to say and was very interested...Angelina looked amazing as always, she was dressed very simple but classy.
"She was happy and radiant. She looked really good."
The family are said to have hired a staggering six villas in Malta to ensure their privacy.
A source said recently: "As well as two holiday homes to accommodate their brood they've hired four surrounding them so they can have privacy.
"It's as though they've sectioned off their own compound. Locals are getting angry as their presence is getting disruptive."

Sadie Frost sprinkles a line of salt across her doorways to absorb negative energy.
The 49-year-old actress - who divorced Jude Law in 2003 after six years of marriage - has turned to the unusual technique to rid her home of bad feeling and she also encourages people to break up blocked energy in their homes by walking around chanting and hitting a gong.
Discussing the salt method in her upcoming wellbeing book, 'Nourish', she states: "Leave for 24 hours, by which time it should have absorbed all the negativity."
In the book, Sadie also gives tips on yoga, food, nutrition, exercise and meditation, which she does six times a week to rid herself of all the "craziness" in her life.
Speaking to The Times newspaper, she said: "It is kind of stepping back from the little things that are bothering you. When you're thinking, 'Oh I've got to go to the shop and buy some stamps.'
"It's getting rid of all that craziness.
"I might go to the park and just do a walking meditation, which is just walking the dogs."
As well as her dog walking relaxation technique, Sadie also enjoys gong meditation, in which she sits down while someone bangs a gong.
She added: "People go in huge numbers to do gong meditation. I'm just one of those people who've tried it out, and I'm saying that there's all different ways to meditate."

Michelle Keegan has landed a role in 'Ordinary Lies'.
The 27-year-old actress quit her role as 'Coronation Street' barmaid Tina McIntyre earlier this year and was brutally killed off the ITV soap and it's now been revealed she will return to screens in the new BBC One drama.
The brunette beauty will play a receptionist at a car showroom alongside a number of other stars including former 'EastEnders' star Jo Joyner, Sally Lindsay, Jason Manford, Mackenzie Crook and Max Beesley.
The six-part series - which was written by Bafta-winner Danny Brocklehurst - follows the everyday lives of shifty car salesman, played by Manford, Joyner and Crook, and other staff at the firm.
An insider told The Sun newspaper: "The characters are likeable but they don't always tell the truth. Some lies start off huge, others are tiny and grow.
"It shows what happens when the lies people tell to keep their heads above water spin out of control with sometimes tragic, sometimes funny consequences."
Michelle hinted at her role in 'Shameless' and 'The Street' scribe Brocklehurst's new project last month when she revealed she had "an exciting job in the pipeline".

Mario Falcone insists he's grown up during his break from 'The Only Way Is Essex'.
The 26-year-old star was suspended from the show earlier this year after being caught taking cocaine and although he's now returned to filming - on the Spanish party island of Ibiza for an upcoming special - he is adamant his wild days are over.
He explained: "The industry we are in and the age I am, you do things that are out of character and very immature and that is part of growing up ... It wasn't a dark place or anything like I have been in the past, it was just stupidity. It is a lesson learned."

Mario - who was previously engaged to former co-star Lucy Mecklenburgh - admitted he is hoping to find a potential girlfriend on the island as becoming an uncle has made him broody.
He continued: "I'm looking forward to experiencing the old part of the island, the nice part. I might meet a nice girl out here and take her to the nice part, you never know."
He added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Seriously. I never thought I would be broody because I have a godson and stuff, but it is not the same as being an uncle because he is my flesh and blood.

Rita Ora has signed up to be a judge on 'The Voice'.
The 'I Will Never Let You Down' hitmaker is set to join the BBC One talent show as a mentor for the upcoming fourth series after Kylie Minogue stepped down from the role earlier this year.
Rita said of her excitement at joining returning judges will.i.am, Tom Jones and Kaiser Chiefs' Ricky Wilson: "So excited to be part of - and for my team to win - 'The Voice' this series! Let's have some fun will.i.am, Tom and Ricky!
"I'm really looking forward to the blind auditions and spinning in my big red chair. EXCITED!"
Sir Tom Jones, who has been a judge on the show since its first series, is excited to return and find new talent while also getting to know the new addition to the panel.
He said: "I'm really looking forward to coming back to 'The Voice' for season four. Not only do I get to know and work with Rita, I can once again enjoy hearing and seeing the talent that comes from just about every corner of the UK."
Tom's fellow veteran judge, will.i.am, added: "Season four of 'The Voice' is going to be amazing! (Sir) Tom Jones is our rock, Ricky is awesome and it's our pleasure to welcome the very talented Rita Ora. Rita is sweet, spicy and sassy - she's going to be a great addition to the Coaches team."
The original judging panel of the voice included Jessie J and The Script's Danny O'Donoghue, who were replaced by Ricky and Kylie last year.
Meanwhile, Emma Willis and Marvin Humes are to return as hosts when 'The Voice' kicks off in January 2015.

Emmerdale's Declan Macey is ruthlessly and methodically plotting his wife's murder.
The soap character, played by actor Jason Merrells, has been spiking his wife Charity's (Emma Atkins) drinks with pesticide after discovering she's been lying to him about aborting their baby.
And Jason reveals his character feels he's been left with no choice but to seek revenge through murder.
He told the Daily Star newspaper: "When he finds out that she's been lying his whole world falls apart. There's a huge amount of hatred and revenge."
Viewers will be watching with horror this week as Declan whisks Charity away to a remote cottage for a romantic getaway, where the twisted character intends to murder the blonde beauty.
Jason explained: "He's completely tied up in the mother of all pre-nups that he signed on her behalf and it's utterly watertight. She hasn't cheated on him which is the only get-out, so there's nothing he can do.
"In his skewed logic, the only thing he can do is kill her. To him that's his only option.
"In a very ruthless and methodical way, he plots his revenge."
While the shocking scenes may be hard to watch, Jason admits he's enjoyed working on the plot and even compared it to working on a blockbuster.
He added: "Filming this stuff has been really demanding and brilliant to do. We've basically been making a movie together, it's been fantastic to film in this amazing location."
