Noel Gallagher is friends with ex-Oasis bandmates

Noel Gallagher is still friends with his former Oasis bandmates.
The songwriter insists they are no hard feelings with the musicians he used to work with following his decision to quit the super-group in 2009 after a backstage bust-up with his brother, singer Liam Gallagher.
In the aftermath Noel launched a solo career while Liam formed new group Beady Eye with the other members Gem Archer, Andy Bell and Chris Sharrock.
However, the High Flying Birds frontman insists they all get along well now and spent a recent night together drinking.
Refusing to reveal whether Liam was involved in the meet-up, Noel said: "I was with some of Beady Eye the other night and they are still plugging away. They're good lads. We all got completely s**t-faced and we talked nonsense for hours. It was good."
Quickly stopping speculation they may have discussed an Oasis reunion, he added: "Though not about a reunion, for anyone trying to seize on that."
The 47-year-old musician was speaking at a Q&A session at Facebook HQ to announce his new album 'Chasing Yesterday' - out March 2 2015 - and one cheeky fan couldn't resist asking about the possibility of an Oasis reunion.
When quizzed if he'd play solo material when the band reforms, Noel laughed: "What reunion? You tell me, you seem to know."
The 'Don't Look Back In Anger' singer also scoffed at his brother Liam's criticism of the recent anniversary re-issue of Oasis' debut LP 'Definitely Maybe', insisting he wouldn't be complaining about the money earned from it
Noel said: "What did Liam say, (rehashing?) Really? I bet he didn't say that when he was putting the cheque in the bank."
As well as his new album Noel also announced his next single, 'In the Heat of the Moment', will be released digitally and on limited-edition vinyl on November 17 and he will be heading out on a UK arena tour next March.

Princess Marie calls Prince Joachim ‘amazing’

Princes Marie of Denmark has praised her "amazing" and "humble" husband Prince Joachim.
The romantic royal has opened up about her marriage of six years and she confessed to feeling as in love as the day they met.
Speaking to Costume magazine about the moment she met her husband, French-born Princess Marie shared: "I was already well into my career, and did not at all think of a husband or children, but [Joachim] was, and is, amazing. He has that Danish way of being - very discreet and a bit humble.
"It is charming, but he also has a bit of the French culture in himself, so we could speak perfect French together when we met."
Princess Marie - who is mother to Prince Henrik, five, and Princess Athena, two, and step-mother to Prince Joachim's sons from his first marriage, Prince Nikolai and Prince Felix - admitted that her royal beau is often stricter with their children.
She told the magazine: "My husband is the stern one, I give in quickly. I am terrible. But when it comes to them managing on their own, I am firm. Because my children are going to do things themselves."
The Danish royal also revealed that she occasionally misses being able to dress casually and added that she will "never quite get used to the attention".
She shared: "I do miss my anonymity and walking around without make-up and having messy hair. I don't do that a lot any more."

Richard Gere splits from Padma Lakshmi

Richard Gere has split from Padma Lakshmi.
The 'Pretty Woman' actor and the 'Top Chef' have called time on their six-month romance because they were too busy with their respective careers.
A source added to the New York Post newspaper's Page Six column: "They decided they would be better as friends."
The 65-year-old actor - who split from Carey Lowell after 11 years of marriage last September - has been busy filming 'Time Out of Mind' in New York, in which he plays a homeless man.
Last week, he joked of filming: "What probably really helped was I was right in the middle of a divorce, so the emotions were right on the surface."
Meanwhile, Padma, 44, was filming a new season of 'Top Chef' in Boston over the summer and then went travelling.
The couple were first romantically linked in April but stayed low key and were not spotted together very often.
Richard and Carey - who have 14-year-old son Homer together - never officially confirmed they were separating but were said to have been living apart for some time before their split.
The hunky actor was also previously married to Cindy Crawford for four years until 1995.
Former model Padma was previously married to author Salman Rushdie for three years until 2007 and dated billionaire Teddy Forstmann until he died of brain cancer in 2011 at the age of 71.
The presenter has a three-year-old daughter, Krishna, with Adam Dell.

Robin Thicke concentrating on new album

Robin Thicke is concentrating on a new album to help him deal with his divorce.
The 'Blurred Lines' singer has made numerous attempts to win back wife Paula Patton, 38, since they split in February but after he was unsuccessful and the actress filed for divorce last week, he is now throwing himself into some uptempo music to distract him from his woes.
Robin's actor father, Alan Thicke told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "We're a tough bunch. In the next album you're going to dance your ass off."
Robin, 37, released an album of love songs dedicated to his wife of nine years - with whom he has four-year-old son Julian - titled 'Paula' earlier this year in a bid to win her over after allegations of his infidelity emerged.
He said previously: "My music is my therapy. When I make these songs and I listen back to them, they make me feel good about myself because at least I'm admitting my faults, I'm trying to become a better man and better person."
However, Paula has resisted his attempts at reconciliation and filed the paperwork to kick off their divorce proceedings last week.
The '2 Guns' actress is reportedly seeking joint legal and physical custody of Julian and the couple's split is now said to be "harmonious", with no issues expected to cause conflict in court.

Brad Pitt gifted shotgun as a child

Brad Pitt was given a shotgun as a young child.
The 50-year-old actor has confessed he was gifted the dangerous weapon by his relatives when he was in kindergarten, which kids start aged four or five in the US, as part of a "rite of passage" members of his family went through as youngsters.
He said: "There's a rite of passage where I grew up of inheriting your ancestors' weapons.
"My brother got my dad's, I got my grandfather's when I was in kindergarten."
Despite inheriting the shotgun at such an early age, the 'Ocean's Eleven' star insists he never took owning the firearm lightly as his father taught him to have a "profound respect" for the weapon.
He told Radio Times magazine: "The positive is that my father instilled in me a profound and deep respect for the weapon."
The Golden Globe-winner - who has six children, Maddox, 13, Pax, 10, Zahara, nine, Shiloh, eight, and six-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne with his wife Angelina Jolie - is proud of his family's tradition and believes everyone has a right to own their own firearm as he "feels better" knowing he has it in his home.
He said: "I feel better having a gun."

Kendall and Kylie Jenner among most influential teens

Kendall and Kylie Jenner have been named on Time magazine's most influential teens of 2014.
The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' stars were listed alongside inspirational youngsters such as a 14-year-old transgender activist Jazz Jennings and Malala Yousafzai, 17, the youngest-ever recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize.
The siblings' achievements are described in the publication, which states: "Together, the 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' co-stars hosted red-carpet events, released clothing and nail polish lines and even published a dystopian young-adult novel this past summer (though yes, they had some help).
"But they've had solo success too - Kendall with modelling (she's walked the runway for designers like Marc Jacobs) and Kylie with pseudo-entrepreneurship (she's launching a line of hair extensions and hopes to get into acting). Next up: a multimillion-dollar mobile game?"
The sisters were joined on the list by Kylie's rumoured former fling Jaden Smith - the 16-year-old son of Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith - who is recognised partly for his "Twitter musings".
The magazine states: "His real legacy may well be his Twitter musings, which are equal parts absurdist ('Anything You See In Any Magazine Ever Is Fake.") and insightful ('Once You Witness A Cycle Enough Times You Step Out Of It.'), earning him more than five million followers and labels like, 'Confucius for the Internet age.'
"One of Smith's recent posts sums him up pretty well: 'Hate Me Love Me Doesn't Matter I'm Still Occupying Time Inside Of Your Psyche.' (sic)"
Both the Jenner sisters and Jaden are in good company on the list as fellow stars including singer/songwriter Lorde, actress Chloë Grace Moretz - who is rumoured to be dating Brooklyn Beckham - and pop star Austin Mahone are also named as influential teens.

Noel Gallagher’s daughter ‘won’t forgive’ him for rejecting The X Factor

Noel Gallagher's daughter won't "ever forgive" him for turning down a judging role on 'The X Factor'.
The former Oasis rocker has admitted that Anais - his daughter with ex-wife Meg Matthews - is still annoyed with her famous father after he rejected ITV's offer of judging position on the singing show.
Speaking at a Q&A session at Facebook HQ on Monday (13.10.14) Noel explained: "Every week we watch it and as I'm tut-tutting at the screen she'll say to me, 'You could have been there. That could have been you slagging them off.'
"I don't think she'll ever forgive me. I'm convinced I'm going to have to go in a psychiatrist meeting with her when she's 34 and talk about it."
When asked if he would ever consider going on 'The X Factor' as a performer, he said: "I wouldn't have thought I'd ever get asked. Have you seen who they get on to perform on that? They properly put a show on. I couldn't put on a show like that, I don't put on a show like that."
Despite being busy working on his new album 'Chasing Yesterday' - which will be released on March 2, 2015 - Noel admitted that he loves watching unusual TV documentaries.
He shared: "There's f**k all to do when you get to my age ... I watch telly, I watch anything with sharks in. I saw this thing the other night I think it was called 'The Nazis' Prehistoric Creatures'. They were trying to breed dinosaurs, even if that's b******s somebody's put that on the telly - I'm duty bound to watch it."
Noel's new single, 'In the Heat of the Moment' will be released digitally and on limited-edition vinyl on November 17. Watch his Facebook interview with BBC 6 Music's Matt Everitt at www.facebook.com/noelgallaghermusic

Lorde sings parody of herself

Lorde has sung a parody of herself from 'South Park'.
The 17-year-old 'Royals' singer proved that she has a good sense of humour after she sang an excerpt of a song from the cartoon series 'South Park' - which claimed that Lorde was actually a middle aged man.
Talking to New Zealand's TV3, she joked: "I was thinking, 'Yeah he has a moustache ... I mean I have a moustache, but is it that prominent?' But it was someone's dad pretending to be me.
"We actually, in my hotel room, went, 'Ya ya ya ya I am Lorde! Ya ya ya!' for like an hour, because that's what they do on the episode."
At the time the episode of 'South Park' went live (09.10.14) she tweeted: "i have officially been the subject of 2 south park episodes and that is weird and cool (sic)"
The pop star also admitted to TV3 that Twitter has played a big role in finding the artists for 'The Hunger Games' soundtrack because it meant that she able to contact them directly.
She said: "I have been putting together 'The Hunger Games' soundtrack and probably half the artists on there, I sent them a DM [Direct Message]. Or a selfie on Instagram on private, saying, 'Can you email me?'
"It really is easy to reduce the steps in talking to someone and people appreciate it if you talk to people one-on-one. And I do it with fans too, send them a DM. They appreciate it and it's cool."

Gillian Anderson begs Paul Feig for Ghostbusters role

Gillian Anderson has begged the 'Ghostbusters 3' director to hire her.
The 46-year-old actress took part in a Reddit 'Ask Me Anything' on Sunday (12.10.14) and she admitted that she was very interested in getting a role in the film reboot which features an all-female cast.
When asked what she thought of project, Gillian made a plea to the movie's director, Paul Feig.
She wrote: "OH MY GOD, I just looked it up online. Paul Feig, cast me now! Start a Twitter petition! I'm free!!!!! I'm free I'm free and I'm funny, goddamnit! (sic)"
Another Redditor then joked about creating a petition to help the 'X-Files' star, to which she replied: "MAKE IT HAPPEN!!"
Gillian also hinted that a third 'X-Files' film could be in the works. When asked if the rumours about a sequel where true, she cryptically wrote: "Uh....uh... uh... Sorta kinda. Keep your ears to the ground. (sic)"

Nicole Scherzinger not watching X Factor

Nicole Scherzinger hasn't been watching 'The X Factor'.
The 36-year-old singer was a judge on the previous two seasons of the talent show but she hasn't been able to find the time to tune into the current series.
Asked if she's been watching, she said: "No, because I've been working, I've not been sleeping, I've been promoting the album in the US, France and now here."
In her first year as a judge, Nicole mentored James Arthur to victory and has remained in touch with all her contestants from that series and is still very supportive, even though James has lost his record deal in part due to his outspoken antics.
She said: "I'm really happy for James, he's always writing. I keep in touch with all my boys, Rylan [Clark], James and Jahmene [Douglas] still."
Asked if she felt James needed advising on how to conduct himself in public, she added: "You learn along the way and real talent always rises to the top, I know James has got it in him, he's an amazing songwriter and those vocals, I believe in him and I think he's gonna kill it."
And though she failed to win with her acts last year, Nicole still felt victorious as she got to perform with eventual winner Sam Bailey at the show's final - even though she was ill.
She told BBC Radio 2's Graham Norton: "I felt like I was winning up there getting to sing with her, that was so much fun. It was a blessing, I love to be on stage so I talk about it all the time, I'm just hungry to be up there. I was actually sick that night, Sam was praying for me, they gave me something to make my throat sing and it just came out, then she won and just killed it."

Caroline Flack treats herself to spare ribs after Strictly training

Caroline Flack has ordered a haul of 50 spare ribs to be delivered to her 'Strictly Come Dancing' rehearsal studio today (14.10.14).
The former 'Xtra Factor' host has been burning off countless calories while training hard for the BBC One ballroom show in recent weeks, but she is going to treat herself to some special 'Freddy's Ribs from House of Cards' from Virgin Media's TV Diner, which opens in London's Soho today.
A source told BANG Showbiz: "Apparently all that tango-ing is leaving 'Strictly Come Dancing' contestant Caroline Flack with withdrawal symptoms from her favourite TV shows.
"The former 'Xtra Factor' presenter has reportedly requested no less than fifty of 'Freddy's Ribs from House of Cards' from Virgin Media's TV Diner in Soho be delivered to her rehearsal studio tomorrow."
As a result of Caroline's calorific treat request, the chef at the TV Diner - which features specially-made meals from an array of top TV shows, such as the Los Pollos Hermanos chicken from 'Breaking Bad' - has had to make a special extra supply of the juicy ribs.
The source added: "Chef Neil Rankin, who has created the unique menu, featuring dishes from an array of TV shows and films, has had to take on an extra chef to fulfil the order."
As well as her love of ribs, the 34-year-old stunner recently confessed she is "high on dance" at the moment as her 'Strictly' moves are the only thing on her mind.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "It's much harder than I thought.
"I'm really high on dance right now. That's all I've been thinking about and I love it."

Amal Alamuddin changes her name to Clooney

Amal Alamuddin has changed her surname to Clooney.
The 36-year-old human rights lawyer revealed her new name on her law firm Doughty Street Chambers' website after getting married to the Hollywood actor George Clooney in Venice on Saturday, September 27.
The beautiful brunette is now using the double barrel surname, Alamuddin Clooney, although it appears as though she will change her name professionally to just Amal Clooney.
The newly wed looked as though she was glowing as she returned to work in Athens, Greece following a whirlwind honeymoon which was partly spent in Oxfordshire, where the new couple are thought to have purchased a luxurious new home.
Amal looked chic in a white jacket and brown trousers as she arrived in the Greek capital where she will advise the government on how to regain ownership of the Elgin Marbles.
George also got back into his work schedule last week, after he was spotted in New York on Thursday (09.10.14) without his new wife for the first time since their extravagant wedding and honeymoon.
Before heading to Sonning Eye in Oxford for a mini-break, the couple reportedly enjoyed a brief post-wedding holiday in the Seychelles after his close friend Brad Pitt recommended the destination to him.
A source told X17Online.com: "It's one of the most beautiful places on earth and George wanted to show Amal something even more amazing than Venice.
"It was the only place that could top off such an elaborate wedding."
