Sam Taylor-Johnson got McQueen’s help for Aaron

Sam Taylor-Johnson got the late Alexander McQueen to "vet" Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
The 'Fifty Shades of Grey' director, 47, organised a special dinner to find out what her British fashion designer pal - known as Lee to his friends - thought of her then-boyfriend, whom she met on the set of 2009's 'Nowhere Boy,' just months before he committed suicide in 2010.
She said: "Lee was a close friend, so when I met Aaron, Lee obviously wanted to meet him and vet him.
"We had this really fun dinner, and at the end of the evening Lee said, 'I so see you two getting married and staying together forever. I want to make your wedding dress.' So I said, 'Yes, of course!' "
Following the designer's tragic death, Sarah Burton stepped in to design Sam's gown for her wedding to Aaron, 24, in 2012.
She added to Harper's Bazaar magazine: "After that terrible thing that happened, Sarah sort of picked up the mantle and said, 'I'll make it in the spirit of him.'
"It was quite an emotional experience for both Sarah and me to go through the process of making that dress. There were lots of tears. But it was nice to feel in wearing that dress that he was part of the ceremony in a way."

Zoe Saldana to ‘slow down’ after pregnancy

Zoe Saldana plans to "slow down" when she gives birth to her twins in eight weeks.
The 'Book of Life' star, who is expecting two baby boys with her husband Marco Perego, says she is looking forward to a break from her busy schedule, as she wants to breastfeed her children.
The 36-year-old actress said: "I might need to slow down to breast-feed."
Meanwhile, Marco thinks Zoe looks more beautiful than ever and is being very protective of her since she entered her third trimester.
An insider said: "He won't let her go anywhere without him."
The artist even accompanied the actress to a press conference for her latest movie earlier this month and waited by the door until she was finished.
The source added to Us Weekly magazine: "He couldn't take his eyes off her."
The couple, who were friends for years before they started dating last year, tied the knot in a secret ceremony in London in June 2013.
She previously said: "As soon as we decided we were going to get married, we didn't wait. We did it three weeks later. That part was very, very quick."
She added: "I've known my partner for five years. I knew of his work. I knew of him. Then we met. And months later, we both made the decision to do what we both individually vowed never to do - to get married."

Paul Potts covered Foo Fighterss for wife

Paul Potts covered a Foo Fighters song on his new album to please his wife.
The 44-year-old singer performed his own version of the US band's hit 'Home' on his fourth album, also called 'Home', because he was keen to please his other half, Julie-Ann, who is a big fan of rock music.
He exclusively told BANG Showbiz "My wife's a real rock fan so she enjoys that music and we often ended up listening to her music in the car.
"That's how it used to be before I started driving and basically we were driving, she'd change the music, which is fair enough. Except now when I'm driving she still chooses the music.
"You can't argue with the wife, but you soon learn. I've learnt after 11 years of marriage that that's not a very fruitful way of doing things."
Paul also admitted his cover of the song has been "really well received" in the 15 countries all over the world where he's performed the track.
He added: "I mean they can object but they haven't thankfully. But it's a good song and I think it sticks well to my treatment of it.
"It's been received well around the world, I've performed it in 15 countries so far and it's been really well received."
Paul Potts' new album 'Home' is out now. He is touring the UK and Ireland this autumn from October 23 - November 8. For more information and tour dates please visit www.paulpottsofficial.com.

Jonathan Ross to quit chat show

Jonathan Ross doesn't expect to be handed a new series of his ITV chat show.
The 53-year-old presenter kicked off his latest series of the programme last night (18.10.14), with a show featuring 'The X Factor' judges Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Mel B, but it appears the ever-popular host is, apparently, already considering different career options.
A source close to the presenter told Mirror Online: "Jonathan is resigned to his ITV1 chat show coming to an end.
"He has made it clear that he wants to do other things, he has nothing left to prove. Money isn't the issue - it is about what he wants to do with his life."
Another factor in his decision is the death of his agent and close friend Addison Cresswell last December.
The friend continued: "Addison's death was a huge blow. It certainly got Jonathan looking at his own life. He wants to spend more time with his family and do some travelling."
Jonathan is married to successful screenwriter Jane Goldman, 44, who can boast hits such as 'X-Men: First Class' and 'Kick-Ass'.
The friend said the married couple - who are the parents of Betty, 23, Harvey, 20, and Honey, 17 - could spend more of their time in the US.
The source added: "Jane's career is really taking off in America and they both fancy travelling more, now the kids are older.
"They might spend some of the year in Hollywood, and Jonathan loves Japan."

Lynda Bellingham makes final appearance on Loose Women

Lynda Bellingham was given a standing ovation from the 'Loose Women' studio audience as she arrived on set for the final time.
The actress, who has terminal bowel cancer and just weeks to live, filmed her final appearance on the popular ITV show - which will air on Wednesday (23.10.14) - and was interviewed by her former co-hosts Coleen Nolan and Janet Street-Porter, the Sunday People reports.
Asked how she would like to be remembered, the 66 year old said: "Just as an honest person.
"We've been through this as 'Loose Women' - you can't do 'Loose Women' unless you're honest."
She continued: "You can't hide anything, it really is honest when we answer questions. That's why I felt I could write about it and know people would trust.
"Trust is a huge thing. Not just as an actor, not just as a lover, not just as a wife, that trust thing. Just to say 'you could trust her'."
The show was also attended by Lynda's husband Michael, 59, who cried as his wife talked about her decision to stop chemotherapy.
Lynda - who has two sons, Michael, 31, and Robbie, 26, and a stepson Bradley, 21 - thanked the public for their support ever since she was diagnosed with stage-four colon cancer in June 2013.

Jessica Alba: Motherhood was ‘risky’

Jessica Alba thinks having children is one of the biggest risks she has ever taken.
The 33-year-old actress, who has daughters Honor, six, and Haven, three, with husband Cash Warren, says it was difficult to take some time away from her Hollywood career in favour of starting a family when she was 28.
Asked about some of the most daring things she has done in life, the brunette beauty said: "Even becoming a mother was risky. It meant cooling off from this business, which was all I had known my entire life. I had to peace-out at 28, completely shift my priorities, and not be apologetic and not care about the consequences."
But Jessica, whose eco-friendly brand The Honest Company is worth almost $1 billion, believes she changed a lot when she turned 30 in 2011.
She added to Harper's Bazaar magazine: "After I turned 30, I became more daring as a woman. Having a successful company had a hand in that. I've set my priorities in a different place, with my children and my family. I dared to look at projects outside of Hollywood, and I'm so happy that I did.
"I want to be daring. I want to be innovative. I want to disrupt the marketplace. I want to show that there's a better, cleaner way to live our lives."

Shia LaBeouf cites method acting as reason for erratic behaviour

Shia LaBeouf blames his erratic behaviour on method acting.
The 28-year-old star claims he was simply preparing for his role when he clashed with Alec Baldwin, 56, on the set of Broadway production 'Orphans', insisting this was also the case when he smacked actor Alan Cumming's backside at a performance of 'Cabaret'.
Speaking to Interview Magazine, Shia explained: "Alec and I butted heads hard. I was sleeping in the park . . . At the time, I was out of my mind.
"My whole goal was to intimidate the f*** out of Baldwin. That was the role. And it wasn't going to be fake. I wanted him to be scared . . . So I went about doing that for three weeks of rehearsal."
Shia - who starred in 'Lawless' and the 'Transformers' franchise - was arrested in June after drunkenly slapping Cumming and later spitting at a police officer.
He reflected: "I was reading about performance art of the '60s and '70s and so I thought . . . we're all involved here. It's not just your stage. We're all in here and we're all part of this. I was wrong."

Madonna lined up to appear on The X Factor

Madonna has agreed to appear on the final of 'The X Factor' - providing certain conditions are met.
The 56-year-old singer has been urged by the show's creator Simon Cowell to appear on the last show in the current series in a bid to boost flagging ratings, but a source close to the star insists she will only do so if she has a significant degree of creative control over her own performance.
The source told the Mail on Sunday newspaper: "Madonna will have been provisionally booked because the final can be subject to change if an artist doesn't approve of the finalists - especially if they have agreed to sing with them.
"Someone like Madonna will want a lot of creative control over her appearance, but for Simon the ratings will be worth it."
What's more, the source revealed that there are certain conditions the 'Like a Virgin' singer must adhere to if she is to appear the show, too.
The insider explained: "She has been told that her label will be expected to pay for any stage props and backing dancers she brings with her."
The proposed appearance could help boost sales of Madonna's next album, which is due to go on sale shortly after the live final.
Meanwhile, another source said: "It had been rumoured that Irish rockers U2 were being lined up to take part. But that has not happened and the confusion may have come because they share the same manager, Guy Oseary."

David McIntosh wants to marry Kelly Brook

David McIntosh wants to marry Kelly Brook in Las Vegas before Christmas.
The on-off pair only reconciled their differences in the last few days, but David - a former Royal Marines commando and a star on the TV show 'Gladiators' - is already planning their wedding, which he hopes will take place before the end of the year.
A source close to David told Mirror Online: "After many long distance conversations Kelly agreed to listen to Dave's side of the story and she now feels she may have overreacted.
"The underlying fact is that they are still desperately in love with one another. During their time apart, they realised what they had and the future that they want."
The source continued: "David wants to just elope, do it quickly so that Kelly can continue with her increasing work commitments in America. She is madly in love with him still.
"They have gone off to Mexico so they can have some time alone, away from any gossip, just the two of them alone. It's only a couple of hours drive from Los Angeles so seemed to be the perfect getaway."
David and Kelly, 34, ended their relationship in September, six months after announcing they were engaged to be married.

Jessie Ware wants to matchmake for brother

Jessie Ware wants to take her brother on tour to find him a date.
The 'Say You Love Me' singer - who married childhood sweetheart Sam Burrows in August - has a big gay fan base so thinks her brother Alex would "clean up" at her shows.
She said: "Gay men seem to like me. It might be because I talk about my gay brother Alex all the time - I try and ship him off to people in the audience every time.
"I think he should come on tour with me because he'd clean up. He's younger than me and in his last year of medical school. He's a catch!"
Though Jessie, 30, is happy with her career so far, she still hasn't perfected writing a "really happy" song.
She told Stylist magazine: "The only thing I struggle with is that I still haven't written my ultimate happy song.
"I can't really do it, although 'Champagne Kisses' has this euphoric feeling, but still with a bit of tension.
"That's the thing I still need to conquer, writing a really happy song."

Jessie Ware embarrassed around Ed Sheeran

Jessie Ware was worried about "embarrassing" herself in front of Ed Sheeran.
The 'Say You Love Me' singer worked with the 'A Team' hitmaker for a track on her new album 'Tough Love' and felt she had to push herself harder to match his talent.
She said: "I took more risks [on this album] and it was scary.
"Working with Ed Sheeran on the track 'Say You Love Me' really pushed me vocally as he can do loads of things with his voice. I'd be thinking, 'I'd better sing this well and not embarrass myself.' "
Despite only finding fame in the last few years, Jessie, 30, is grateful she didn't experience success until later.
The former backing singer told Stylist magazine: "I'm really happy all this is happening now as when I was younger, the decisions I made maybe wouldn't have been as good.
"I don't know, I guess you just grow up. It's not to say that someone who is 21 can't make good decisions, it's just that I feel a lot better doing it all now I'm a bit older."

Nicole Scherzinger: Distance romance is a challenge

Nicole Scherzinger admits her long-distance relationship is a "challenge".
The 36-year-old singer admits it can be tough on her and Formula One ace Lewis Hamilton to spend a long of time together, but she increasingly feels now that her home is in the UK.
She said: "Our biggest challenge is long distance, but I feel like I'm mostly here in the UK., even though my home is in the US."
The brunette beauty also admitted she is keen to have children with Lewis, but only "in the right time".
She said: "I come from a big family and I'm a family person and one day, when God wills it, I will have a family but in the right time."
The couple split briefly last year and during her single stint, Nicole penned much of her new album 'Big Fat Lie' and she says now that Lewis' favourite track on the album is one about their break-up.
She told Britain's HELLO! magazine: "I started the album last year when Lewis and I were broken up.
"I was making music for myself, that's what you have to do, to be honest.
"It wasn't about him, it was about me and my music as an artist.
"But yes, we are back together, but his favourite song is 'On the Rocks', he thinks it's unbelievable."
