Wendi Peters worries people will be ‘disappointed’ by Coronation Street return

Wendi Peters is worried people will be "disappointed" with Cilla Battersby-Brown's new personality.
The 46-year-old actress will return to 'Coronation Street' tonight (22.10.14) after leaving the ITV show in 2007, but has admitted that reviving her character Cilla was a nerve-wrecking experience.
Talking on 'This Morning' to Phillip Schofield and Amanda Holden earlier today, she said: "I hope people aren't disappointed that she hasn't come back with the brashness and comedy.
"There are still bits of comedy in there, there are some lovely fantastic scenes that are comedy but it's just her with a little bit of heart hopefully and a bit more down to earth."
Wendi also confessed that she was a bit scared about returning to the show after such a long break and even revealed that she didn't agree to job offer straight away.
She said: "It was like my first day of school. It was so scary because not only were there lots of different people there - and obviously seven years on we don't know what's happened to her - but also it's a different building. It was weird.
"It took me a while, discussing it with various people and thinking, do I want to re-visit? Should I just to put her to bed? I've moved on, I'm doing lots of other things and then it all sort of fell into place."

Mel Giedroyc will host 'Relatively Clever'.
The 'Great British Bake Off' presenter will star on the new Sky1 quiz show which "pits families against each other" and puts their general knowledge to the test.
The seven-part series is set to air in 2015 during the channel's 8pm slot and the 46-year-old presenter confessed she is looking forward to seeing the families battle it out for the show trophy.
According to Digital Spy, she said: "I'm very excited to be working on new Sky1 quiz show 'Relatively Clever'.
"Everyone loves a quiz and it'll be great to see the families working together, putting their general knowledge and unashamed shrewdness to the test as they battle it out for the 'Relatively Clever' trophy."
Sky1's channel director Adam MacDonald added that he is "delighted" with the team-up.
He said: "We're delighted that Mel is joining the channel as the face of 'Relatively Clever'.
"It's an intelligent, entertaining quiz - and a family affair, with plenty of opportunity for Sky1 customers to play along at home."
Mel has become a regular face on primetime TV since she and her comedy partner - fellow 'Bake Off' host Sue Perkins - established themselves as the comedy duo Mel and Sue in the 1990s.
Mel has also presented her own solo shows including the Channel 4 show 'Draw it!' earlier this year.

The Hobbit becomes most expensive film production of all time

'The Hobbit' the has become the most expensive film production of all time.
The trilogy, which includes the release of 'The Battle of the Five Armies' in December, has cost as much as £464 million, according to financial documents released in New Zealand.
The films, directed by Peter Jackson, were shot back-to-back as part of a a giant single production.
And as the financial reports for 'The Hobbit' only go as far as March 2014, there could be additional costs added to the eventual bill for the production.
However, the record for the most expensive film of all time remains 'Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End', which cost around £185 million to make.
Despite the eye-watering cost, movie studio Warner Bros has already recouped £75 million of the costs in tax breaks from the New Zealand government.
The deal is similar to that struck by James Cameron for the much-anticipated 'Avatar' sequels, which are also being filmed in New Zealand.
Documents show shared between 20th Century Fox, Lightstorm - Cameron's production company - and the New Zealand government reveal there will be £250 million spent on the filming and visual effects in the country.

Louise Linton cast in Cabin Fever: Reboot

Louise Linton has been cast to appear in new horror-comedy 'Cabin Fever: Reboot'.
The new film is being helmed by producer Eli Roth, who is perhaps best known for appearing alongside Brad Pitt in the 2009 film 'Inglorious Basterds', which he co-directed with Quentin Tarrantino.
Louise, 28, is set to play the role of Deputy Winston in the new film, which she says "is a departure from typical female characters in film".
She added: "We have seen gun-slinging tough girls in cinema many times but this character is unique in that her dialogue was originally written for a man and has deliberately been kept the same in this new take on the original movie.
"As a result she represents something entirely new and never seen before. It makes her a truly delicious, although challenging character to play and as an actress, I could not be more excited to bring her complexity and nuances to life in the remake."
Louise added that the audition process for the role was among the most arduous of her career, but was ultimately worth it.
She explained: "Figuring out how to get all the elements of this character into my audition was creatively one of the hardest things I've done is an actress, but also one of the most rewarding."
'Cabin Fever: Reboot' is set to hit cinemas in 2015.

Alt-J’s Marmite fetish

Alt-J have a Marmite fetish.
The indie group - made up of Joe Newman, Thom Green and Gus Unger-Hamilton - have confessed their deep love for the yeast extract product, with Gus admitting he especially likes it when it is put on female body parts.
Speaking to Spotify, he said: "All of us have a bit of a Marmite fetish - on toast with butter or on a girl's breast."
As well as being big Marmite fans, the group also admitted they have a penchant for avocados and Fruit Pastilles.
When asked what is on their rider, Gus replied: "In the dressing room we have the normal stuff like beer, wine, crisps. We have Fruit Pastilles, coconut water..."
Thom added: "Avocados ... but I haven't seen many of the Avocados?"
When they are not enjoying a nibble on a piece of Marmite-covered toast or chowing down on an avocado, the trio are busy making melancholic and mysterious music, but they have insisted they are not quite as dark as their music suggests.
Joes said: "I think we've all got a good sense of humour. That's what you get with a lot of creatives, they have peaks and troughs. They often write about the things that make them most sombre, but in their time off they're actually quite happy.
"You also get comedians - their profession is being funny and in their own time they need heroin and a good cry."

She told Brazilian TV show 'Domingo Espetacular': "It's going to be a true gift for Milan to have a brother. I'd like to have a girl one day, but we'll see, because you never know what's going to happen.

Oscar de la Renta in wheelchair at Amal Clooney’s wedding dress fitting

Oscar de la Renta was in a wheelchair at Amal Clooney's wedding dress fitting.
The legendary fashion designer passed away earlier this week and Amal's mother Baria Alamuddin has revealed how he admitted he was unwell while at a fitting for the wedding dress he'd created for her daughter's recent wedding to George Clooney.
Quizzed on whether he'd attended all of Amal's fittings, Baria told BBC World Service's Newshour: "Yes he was, he was in every fitting and he was actively involved. I remember one time we walked to the fitting and he, we almost came into the design studio together, and he was on a wheelchair.
"My heart went out to him and he said, 'I haven't been well, I was in the hospital'. And basically he walked in with us and walked out with us."
Baria confessed that she, Amal and George will treasure the memory of sharing their special occasion with the 82-year-old designer - whose cause of death is yet to be determined - and knowing that Amal's stunning lace gown was the last he'd created.
She added: "It really gave it that extra place and pleasure and of course this is going to remain with us all our loves and that, that was the last wedding dress that he had designed."
Oscar, who was diagnosed with cancer in 2006, appeared alongside Amal in a photo of their final fitting - which was published in the October edition of Vogue magazine - and appeared to be in good health, despite his underlying issues.

The former 'James Bond' star has confessed that although he has a top-of-the-range television, he struggles to figure out how to turn it on without the help of his sons Dylan, 15, and Paris, 13.
Speaking on 'The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson' he said: "I have a big TV but I don't know how to use it. My kids know how to use it but I go away, I go to work, I come home and I forget the code thing."
Explaining that his film 'The November Man' is out on DVD and Blu-Ray now, the 61-year-old actor went on to admit that he doesn't actually know the difference between the two types of discs.
He added: "It's blue and it's beautiful and it's high definition?"
When told by Craig that he's looking good for his age, Pierce insisted it won't last long and claimed keeping fit and healthy was his main priority.
He said: "I do a bit of keep fit yeah, I get on the bike, I hike and I do the paddle boarding ... And I worry, stress, stress is always good."
