Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla celebrate Day of the Dead

Britain's Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall celebrated the Day of the Dead yesterday (02.11.14).
The royal couple embarked on a four-day tour of Mexico this weekend and joined in the celebrations of the colourful religious festival where people gather to pray for friends and family who have passed away and visit their graves as they remember them.
Charles and Camilla spent their first day in the town of Pachucha and the nearby Read del Monte, which is 60 miles north of Mexico City and nicknamed "Mexico's Little Cornwall" because of its close ties to the West Country.
They were presented with traditional altars made to mark the occasion, known as "Olfrenda", and watched an Aztec dance performance before laying a wreath at the memorial of a Mexican-British soldier who died in the First World War.
The latter took place during their visit to the town's English cemetery which is home to approximately 300 tombs of Cornish miners - who travelled to Mexico in 1825 to help revive the country's silver industry - and their descendants.
The first day of the royal tour came to an end with afternoon tea with locals at the pasty museum.

Princess Beatrice gives up seat on Virgin Galactic flight

Britain's Princess Beatrice has reportedly given up her seat on the first Virgin Galactic flight.
The 26-year-old royal was said to have had a place reserved on Sir Richard Branson's company's first ever flight into space next year but has now backed out after a test pilot was killed last week.
A source told the Daily Mail newspaper: "Beatrice was excited by the idea of space tourism, but there is no way she will be going on one of the flights, if they are ever allowed to take place."
The flame-haired beauty attended the 2011 launch of the spaceship VSS Enterprise - which was due to take the first tourists into space - with her boyfriend Dave Clarke, who is head of astronaut relations at Virgin Galactic.
However, the future of the project is now uncertain following the explosion of the test rocket over California's Mojave Desert, which caused the death of pilot Michael Alsbury and the serious injuries sustained by co-pilot Peter Siebold.
Branson himself had also planned to be aboard the inaugural flight next year, along with his son Sam and three guests and 460 VIPS, who each paid £156,000 for the privilege.

Duchess Catherine has a new stylist

Britain's Duchess of Cambridge has reportedly hired a new stylist.
The 32-year-old royal - who is also known as Kate Middleton - is said to have been taking fashion advice from Natasha Archer, a personal assistant at Kensington Palace.
The 27-year-old PA - known to Duchess Catherine as "Tash" - is reported to have been helping her royal client to experiment with some sophisticated new looks, steering her towards designers including Alice Temperley and Jenny Packham.
A source told Vanity Fair magazine: "Initially Kate was reluctant as a fashion icon, but now she enjoys it. Tash helps source some of the clothes. She shops a lot for Kate online, and calls in hundreds of dresses for Kate to try on."
And despite Catherine - who has 13-month-old son Prince George with husband Prince William - being pregnant with their second child, Natasha is said to be pushing her to be more adventurous than ever with her wardrobe.
The source added: "She has persuaded Kate to take some more risks. The hemlines are shorter and Kate's really pushing the boat out in the fashion stakes."

Carey Mulligan was ‘ashamed’ to meet Kate Winslet

Carey Mulligan refused to meet Kate Winslet because she was "ashamed" of herself.
The 29-year-old actress idolises 'The Reader' star and was mortified when she learned Kate and her then-husband Sam Mendes had been in the audience at a performance of her 2008 play 'The Seagull' because she didn't think she had done very well.
She recalled: "Someone came to our dressing-room and said: 'Oh, my God! Sam Mendes and Kate Winslet are here.' And I was like, 'Are you kidding?' And I burst into tears.
"Everyone else from the cast went to do a meet-and-greet with him and I went out the back door. I didn't want to go anywhere near them, I was so ashamed. I just got into a cab, went home and cried."
Carey - who is married to Mumford & Sons singer Marcus Mumford - admires Kate and fellow actresses Marion Cotillard and Cate Blanchett because of their "strong, bold" working choices.
She told the new issue of Britain's Harper's Bazaar magazine: "I have a fear of being passive and every choice they make is really strong.
"Even if they're playing something very quiet, it's visceral and bold."
Though she has wanted to act since she was six years old, the 'Suffragette' star hasn't always felt comfortable on set and constantly worried she would get fired from her early jobs.
She admitted: "I'm better at it now. I think it's getting older.
"The first couple of jobs I did, I was like, 'How did I land this? I hope they don't fire me.' Now I do that less. I have opinions."

Ariana Grande inundated with odd gifts from fan

Ariana Grande has been sent dog and cat calendars and a three-stone pumpkin by a persistent fan.
The 21-year-old singer has reportedly been inundated with bizarre gifts, including eight candles, a three-piece mirror set and a $200 anklet, from one of her supporters who has been told by police to stop sending her the unusual items.
According to gossip website TMZ, officers in Massachusetts have warned a 29-year-old man he will face criminal harassment charges if he keeps sending the star such presents, which has also included a piece of rock from the famous White Mountains of New Hampshire.
While the guy is said to be vying for Ariana's attention, Big Sean is the only man for the raven-haired star at the moment.
The couple have been dating for around two months and were recently said to be "totally in love".
An insider said: "They are both totally in love with each and she feels that he is her soul partner.
"They are even planning to spend their first holidays as a couple together!"
The 26-year-old hip hop artist is said to be planning to take Ariana to meet his family as they spend their holidays together for the first time.
A source recently said: "He wants to take her to Detroit to meet all his friends and family there. He's proud of her."

Taylor Swift makes honest music

Taylor Swift thinks it is important to be "meaningful" and "honest" with her music.
The 'Shake It Off' hitmaker is known for her very personal lyrics and though she admits sometimes it can feel like her fans are reading her diaries as a result, she doesn't think she could make music any other way as it wouldn't seem "authentic".
She said: "I could make music that's catchy and has not a shred of personal information in it. But that wouldn't feel honest and my fans wouldn't connect to it...
"It's like these people have been reading my diaries since I was 16. I spend two years making an album, so I mean it to be meaningful and an accurate representation of my life.
"Artists gain celebrity and lose perspective. They gain fame and they lose a sense of reality or self-awareness. They start to care about some gossip blogger. I refuse to let them dictate the type of work I'm going to do."
The 24-year-old beauty doesn't think she would be able to handle the pressures of her job if she didn't have writing as an outlet.
She told the Sydney Morning Herald newspaper: "The writing process is what keeps all of this bearable. A lot of chaos surrounds this type of career and I wouldn't be able to handle it if I was just a singer."
And Taylor is constantly baffled by where she finds inspiration.
She said: "I've never been able to explain where ideas come from.
"I have no idea why I wake up in the middle of the night, replaying in my head a melody I've never heard before. It's what keeps the job never feeling like a job."

Amelle Berrabah’s vows leave husband in tears

Amelle Berrabah told her new husband he was the "egg in [her] yolk" and the "jam on [her] toast" in her self-written wedding vows.
The 30-year-old singer tied the knot with Marcio Sousa Rosa in Mauritius last month, just days after they got engaged, and she admitted the couple's personalised words to each other left the "alpha-male" record label executive in tears because they were so touching.
She said: "They were very romantic and emotional. Marcio never cries and nothing fazes him, he's so laid-back, but he had to grab a tissue and cover his face because he was crying at one point.
"There were a couple of funny bits in mine, too. I said, 'You're the egg in my yolk, the jam on my toast. Marcio, without you, there is no me.'
"It was lovely to be able to say what I feel about him. I knew I'd fallen in love with him within a couple of weeks of us meeting.
"I loved that he was very mysterious, very alpha-male and he doesn't feel the need to brag."
While Amelle's mother and five siblings were not invited to their whirlwind wedding due to the pair's wish to have an intimate affair, the former Sugababes star is planning a second ceremony in her parents' native Morocco in which she is going to wear seven dresses.
She added to HELLO! magazine: "It'll be a big Muslim ceremony and I'll have seven dresses. Well, I might bring it down to three.
"But it's like a three-day party and I'll have henna up my arms and everything. It'll be lovely for my family to be part of it."
The couple will then embark on a honeymoon to Thailand in the new year, and Amelle admitted Marcio had originally planned for the newlyweds to celebrate their nuptials in the south east Asian country after their Mauritius wedding but he had to scrap those plans because it is monsoon season there.
Amelle and Marcio have already talked about starting a family and she is hoping they will welcome their first child together in around a year.
She said: "We're thinking maybe in a year, a year and a half - two years tops.
"I'm just so excited knowing this man is mine now, forever. We're very blessed."

Billi Mucklow gets engaged to Andy Carroll

Billi Mucklow is engaged to Andy Carroll.
The former 'The Only Way Is Essex' star is set to wed the West Ham footballer after just over a year of dating following his proposal while on a romantic birthday trip to Rome this weekend.
And the pair were quick to announce the happy news on their Instagram accounts with Billi posting an adorable snap of the couple posing in front of the Colosseum alongside the caption: "Last Night The Love Of My Life Asked Me To Marry Him- I'm So Happy! @andytcarroll You Are My Everything And I Can't Wait To Be Your Wife! #MrsCarroll (sic)"

James Hill flirts with Jasmin Walia

'The Apprentice' candidate James Hill has reportedly been wooing Jasmin Walia.
The 26-year-old businessman has been pursuing 'The Only Way Is Essex' beauty after meeting her at Essex hotspot, Sugar Hut, despite her currently being in a relationship with Ross Worswick.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Jasmin thinks James is gorgeous but when she and Ross split they got back together! She's torn."
The 24-year-old star first started dating Ross, who appeared on the MTV show 'Ex on the Beach', in April this year but their relationship is now said to be on the rocks.
Meanwhile, James is said to have romanced his fellow candidate on the BBC One entrepreneurial reality series, Lauren Riley while living in the same house during filming.
An insider said previously: "It didn't take James long to woo Lauren.
"She's clever and quite classy but fell for his charms and they had a fairly full-on fling. They were always sneaking off."
And the business hopeful - who is competing to win a £250,000 investment from Lord Alan Sugar - has been at the centre of controversy since he first appeared on the show.
It was revealed last month that he had been given a six-month suspended jail sentence after pleading guilty to two counts of assault in 2008.

Coronation Street’s Tracy Barlow is ‘out for revenge’

Coronation Street's Tracy Barlow is "out for revenge".
Kate Ford - who has starred as Tracy in the ITV soap since 2002 - has revealed her character is to become nastier than ever after her fiancé Rob Donovan (Marc Baylis) was arrested for the murder of Tina McIntyre (Michelle Keegan).
She explained: "The thing with Tracy is that when she's hurt, then she's vicious. And because she's so hurt, you're really going to see her bitchy and nasty side."
The 36-year-old actress says Tracy will first take out her anger on Rob's sister Carla Connor (Alison King), who called the police on her brother following his murder admission, not wanting to let husband Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoigne) rot in jail for a crime he didn't commit.
Kate told The Sun newspaper: "Firstly she steps up her war with Carla, who she 100 per cent blames for all this.
"She feels like Carla should have kept her mouth shut and that this woman took away her chance of happiness, so she's out for revenge."
And Tracy is to find herself embroiled in a seedy affair with Liz McDonald's (Beverly Callard) boyfriend Tony Stewart (Terence Maynard).
She added: "She's going to have a fling with Tony. It's nothing like her relationship with Rob. It's not a big love affair - it's messy, involving things like blackmail, power and money.
"It's a negative relationship, it's not good for any of them and the stuff we've shit is quite dark."

Steven Moffat clears way for female Doctor Who

'Doctor Who' showrunner Steven Moffat has paved the way for a woman to play the character by changing the sex of his famous foe The Master.
In the episode 'Dark Water' - which aired on BBC One on Saturday (01.11.14) - viewers saw the mysterious character Missy (Michelle Gomez) - reveal herself to be evil Time Lord The Master, but having regenerated as a woman.
When she made the reveal to the Doctor - portrayed by Peter Capaldi - Missy said: "Missy. Short for Mistress. Well I couldn't very well keep calling myself The Master."
Moffat had previously allowed writer Neil Gaiman to add to 'Doctor Who' mythology the fact that Time Lords could change sex when they regenerate into a new body in the 2011 episode 'The Doctor's Wife'.
Moffat also previously revealed he considered casting a woman in the famous role when he was looking for a replacement for Eleventh Doctor Matt Smith, who was eventually succeeded by Capaldi.
He said: ''It's absolutely narratively possible and when it's the right decision, maybe we'll do it. It didn't feel to me, right now, right. I didn't feel enough people wanted it. 'Oddly enough most people who said they were dead against it - and I know I'll get into trouble for saying this - were women. Saying, 'No, no, don't make him a woman!' Not that I was influenced by that. I'm influenced by nothing. Obviously.''
The decision to change The Master - famously portrayed by Roger Delgado and John Simm in past incarnations - into a woman has prompted a mixed reaction online from fans.
In a posting on popular fan site DoctorWhoTV.co.uk, user TheDoctornator wrote: "I mean no offence in anyway, I just think if they were going to bring back a female timelord, than they should have brought back the Rani, I am not trying to be sexist in anyway, but I think that in my opinion that would have been the better solution. (sic)"
Another user, ElyotWren, was happier with the shock reveal, posting: "I wanted the Master to return some day as he was my favourite villain, being the Doctor's disturbed equal (I'm a sucker for crazy stuffs), and I was so glad when Missy revealed who she was. My grin could not have been wider, my face was hurting! (sic)"

FKA twigs to record for Bond

FKA twigs is to work on the next James Bond soundtrack.
The work of 26-year-old singer - whose real name is Tahliah Barnett - was introduced to 'Bond 24's director Sam Mendes by 'Skyfall' theme singer Adele, and he thinks her songs will fit perfectly with the next movie in the franchise.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "twigs met with top executives and they told her Mendes loves her music and wants some of it in 'Bond'.
"He was nudged in her direction by Adele, who loves twigs. If she gets 'Bond' she'll become a wellknown name."
However, while twigs - who is dating actor Robert Pattinson - will feature on the soundtrack, Adele is expected to record the theme song for the second movie in a row.
The source added: "Adele will still be the iconic songstress of 'Bond 24' and is writing a new song for it."
Last month, 'Skyfall' hitmaker Adele made a rare public appearance to see FKA twigs perform in London and though the 'Pendulum' singer admits they have never spoken before, she is now looking forward to meeting the award-winning star because they have things in common now.
twigs, who missed out on picking up the Barclaycard Mercury Prize last week after her shortlisted album lost out to Young Fathers' record 'Dead', said: ''I haven't met Adele, I once saw her at the XL Christmas party but I didn't say hi, but next time I see her we'll have a talking point.''
