Prince Charles pays tribute to Robin Williams

Britain's Prince Charles has paid tribute to "remarkable" Robin Williams.
The 65-year-old prince had met the 'Hook' star - who was found hanged on Monday (11.08.14) - several times and spoke of his "wonderfully frenetic humour" and admitted he will miss the actor's "irreplaceable contribution to life".
In a statement published on his official website, Charles said: "He was a remarkable man, whose wonderfully frenetic humour brought a special kind of laughter into people's lives.
"I greatly enjoyed meeting him on several occasions and his irreplaceable contribution to life will be greatly missed by countless people, including myself."
In November 2008, making his first UK performance for 25 years, Robin performed at a show titled 'We Are Most Amused' in aid of Charles' youth charity The Prince's Trust, and the prince, his wife Duchess Camilla, and youngest son Prince Harry all attended the gig, which also saw performances from the likes of John Cleese and Joan Rivers.
Six months later, Charles and the 'Mrs. Doubtfire' star teamed up again alongside the prince's sons, Harry and Prince William, Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, Pele, and the Dalai Lama, for an online film for The Prince of Wales's Rainforests Project.

Danniella Westbrook’s fiance arrested

Danniella Westbrook's fiancé was arrested after a row at their home last Friday (08.08.14).
The former 'EastEnders' star reportedly told neighbours that Tom Richards, 24, had wrecked possessions at their home near Rochester, Kent, in a furious argument that saw police called by neighbours.
They arrested the cage fighter for alleged breach of the peace but after being kept in a cell overnight, he was released without charge.
A source said: "Danniella and Tom have been arguing a lot and things escalated last Friday. This row was one of their worst yet and resulted in a lot of objects being smashed. Neighbours heard a screaming and shouting and decided to dial 999."
The 40-year-old actress - who was seen throwing a phone at Tom as they rowed in the street last week - is now said to have ended their relationship and jetted off on holiday for some space.
The source added to The Sun newspaper: "She has dumped Tom and jetted off for a holiday. She came to realise they were not right for each other. She doesn't need the drama in her life."
Danniella - who has children Kai, 17, and Jody, 12, from previous relationships - and Tom got engaged in April after two months together.
She split from second husband Kevin Jenkins in January after 12 years of marriage.

Frances Bean Cobain offers support to Zelda Williams

Frances Bean Cobain has offered her support to Robin Williams' daughter.
The 21-year-old artist - who was just 20 months old when her father, Nirvana rocker Kurt Cobain, committed suicide - told Zelda Williams she will be there for her "wherever, whenever" after her actor dad took his own life on Monday (11.08.14).
Frances - whose mother is Hole rocker Courtney Love - tweeted: "@zeldawilliams You have such an incredibly beautiful soul. I love you but you already knew that. Wherever, whenever u need me I'll be there (sic)".
Zelda, 25, has released a lengthy statement in tribute to her dad in which she admitted she will "never, ever understand" his actions.
She said: "While I'll never, ever understand how he could be loved so deeply and not find it in his heart to stay, there's minor comfort in knowing our grief and loss, in some small way, is shared with millions. It doesn't help the pain, but at least it's a burden countless others now know we carry, and so many have offered to help lighten the load. Thank you for that."
Elsewhere in her statement she recalled the last time they spent the day together, thanked fans for their support and told Robin's critics he would be laughing at them.
She also said: "My family has always been private about our time spent together. It was our way of keeping one thing that was ours, with a man we shared with an entire world. But now that's gone, and I feel stripped bare. My last day with him was his birthday, and I will be forever grateful that my brothers and I got to spend that time alone with him, sharing gifts and laughter. He was always warm, even in his darkest moments...
"To those he touched who are sending kind words, know that one of his favourite things in the world was to make you all laugh. As for those who are sending negativity, know that some small, giggling part of him is sending a flock of pigeons to your house to poop on your car. Right after you've had it washed. After all, he loved to laugh too...
"Dad was, is and always will be one of the kindest, most generous, gentlest souls I've ever known, and while there are few things I know for certain right now, one of them is that not just my world, but the entire world is forever a little darker, less colourful and less full of laughter in his absence. We'll just have to work twice as hard to fill it back up again."

Justin Bieber reaches DUI deal

Justin Bieber has reportedly reached a plea deal in his driving under the influence (DUI) case.
The 'Believe' hitmaker - who was arrested seven months ago - is said to have agreed to attend anger management classes and will plead guilty to careless driving and resisting an officer without violence in exchange for prosecutors dropping the DUI charge, sources told the Miami Herald newspaper.
According to the insiders, the 20-year-old singer - who is not expected to attend a hearing for the case in Florida this afternoon (13.08.14) will attend a 12-hour private anger management course as it is feared public sessions would turn into a "frenzy".
He will also have to view online videos of stories of real-life DUI cases with tragic ends, pay court fines and a $50,000 donation to charity.
The singer's friend Khalil Sharieff, who was arrested at the same time when they allegedly drag raced, is expected to receive a similar plea deal.
Miami police arrested the pair in January for racing down Pine Island Drive, which had been blocked off by the star's security team, and the 'Baby' hitmaker was said to have unleashed a string of expletives when stopped by officers.
Police claimed Justin admitted smoking marijuana and taking prescription medication, with a urine sample testing positive for the drug and anxiety pills Xanax.
However, his blood-alcohol levels were well below the legal limit and he didn't appear intoxicated in police surveillance videos.
Last month, the singer was placed on two years of probation and required to take anger-management classes, complete community service and pay compensation after pleading no contest to egging and vandalising a neighbour's house.

Bradley Cooper moves Suki Waterhouse into mother’s home

Bradley Cooper has moved Suki Waterhouse into his mother's home.
'The Hangover' star - who has been dating the British model since March last year - is happy for the 22-year-old beauty to stay in his mother Gloria's home in Los Angeles while she attends auditions in the city, even if he isn't around.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "When Suki is in LA by herself for auditions she'll stay in the house with Gloria. They get on well and it doesn't matter that Bradley isn't around. He's often away in London working."
Bradley, 39, is also believed to have stayed with Suki's parents while he was filming in London, sparking yet more speculation that an engagement could be on the cards for the pair.
Rumours that the couple are planning to tie the knot first emerged last month when it was reported that the hunky actor and his stunning girlfriend were already planning their big day to coincide with Bradley's 40th birthday.
A source said at the time: "Bradley wanted to wait until his 40th before getting hitched as he's been married before. It's very important for him now that they seal their love.
"Bradley and Suki spend a lot of time daydreaming and planning their nuptials.
"They know they want to get hitched in the States, most likely LA, because they want it to be hot. But it's likely to be a very small, private affair."

Black Lips blast KISS for ‘misogynistic’ lyrics

Black Lips have slammed KISS for being "misogynistic".
The garage rockers ambushed a recent live Q&A with 'Kiss' frontman Gene Simmons to criticise the legendary band for their supposedly offensive lyrics.
Lead singer Jack Hines - who painted his face black and white in mockery of the group - told the HuffPost Live: "Mr Simmons! We're here to tell you that the day of misogynistic, sexist rock'n'roll is over.
"We call for the complete and utter surrender of the Kiss army. Lay down your guitars! Do you accept our terms of surrender?"
However, Simmons was unwilling to surrender ground on the issue and instead chose to belittle the group for broadcasting their grievances from their "mum's basement".
The 64-year-old rocker quipped: "I wanted to compliment your mum for the wonderful way that she designed the decoration on the basement she lets you live in.
"I think it's very attractive. I hope you get to leave your mum's basement soon."
Simmons advised the band to "learn to speak English" and also suggested that the name Black Lips was racist as they are white.

The Saturdays plan hiatus

The Saturdays are planning to go on hiatus.
The 'Up' hitmakers are currently preparing for a greatest hits tour, which starts next month, but once it is complete they will take a break for a "few months" to work on individual projects, which include Frankie Sandford - who has 10-month-old son Parker with soccer star husband Wayne Bridge - taking part on TV show 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
A source said: "Frankie was the BBC's main target for Strictly this year -- they desperately want her sexy girlband glamour and love the fact she is a WAG.
"She almost competed last year but had to pull out when she found out she was pregnant.
"The Saturdays thought it was the perfect time to coincide with an extended holiday.
"They've been working pretty much non-stop for six years and want some time off to focus on all their various solo interests."
The group - which also includes Vanessa White, Una Foden, Rochelle Humes and Mollie King - are hoping the break will make them more in demand than ever and hope to eventually follow the career path of Take That, who make an album and tour every few years and work on their own projects in between.
The source added to The Sun newspaper: "They'll end up being in more demand because of the exposure Frankie will get on 'Strictly'.
"The girls want to be like the female Take That -- go off and spend time working on their own but coming back together for big releases and performances."

Brianne Delcourt had gut feeling romance with Matt was a mistake

Brianne Delcourt had a gut feeling getting into a relationship with Matt Lapinskas would ultimately be a mistake.
The 'Dancing On Ice' star - who was left devastated recently when dancer Camilla Rowland was photographed leaving the couple's house - tried to convince the former 'EastEnders' actor they should just be friends when they first got together 18 months ago, but she eventually fell for him.
Speaking to OK! magazine, she said: "When we first got together it wasn't something I really wanted. I didn't think I would fall in love with him because I kind of knew I was coming home and he would be in the UK.
"I said to him after the tour in April 2013, 'I think it's best if we go back to being best buddies.' He pursued and pursued and I fell for him when I should have gone with my gut."
Brianne - who first met Matt when the pair came second on the 2013 series of 'Dancing On Ice' - also slammed Matt for bringing a woman back to their house and claims he called the professional skater his "soulmate" just two months.
She added: "Go do whatever you want, but you don't bring her back to our home that we moved into together and to the bed we slept in while all my stuff is still in the house.
"One minute you're saying you love someone and they're your soulmate and then two months later you jump into bed with another woman. That's not love. He doesn't even know what the word means."

Alison Steadman sings karaoke to relax

Alison Steadman sings karaoke to relax when her shooting schedule stresses her out.
The 67-year-old actress - who can currently be seen in BBC One comedy 'Boomers' - likes to sing along to her favourite Adele and Susan Boyle songs when she's had enough on set.
Luckily, her 36-year-old son Toby bought her a home karaoke machine so she can warble on the mic whenever the feeling takes her.
She said: "My son Toby bought me a karaoke machine and if I get really stressed I put it on and sing Adele, Susan Boyle and Nina Simone - basically any song my voice can cope with. It's really fun."
Alison is enjoying still being busy in her career as she approaches 70 but admits hitting 60 was a lot harder for her than when she reached 50.
Speaking to Closer magazine, she said: "Turning 50 wasn't a big deal for me, but being 60 was a bit more difficult! I'm so forgetful, I recently lost my glasses and there they were in the fridge, all frosted up - ridiculous."

Sylvester Stallone dismisses talk of falling out with Bruce Willis

Sylvester Stallone has dismissed reports he's had a falling out with Bruce Willis.
Relations between the Hollywood heavyweights were reported to have soured after Willis was omitted from the cast of 'The Expendables 3', which was released earlier this summer.
Willis' spot was taken by 'Indiana Jones' star Harrison Ford, but Stallone insists there are no hard feelings between the two.
He said: "That happens in film and casting. It's nothing personal. It sounded like it got personal and I'm sorry it did sound that way. But it was actors talking and things move on.
"I think Bruce Willis is a great guy and he does fantastically entertaining films and when he nails it, he nails it big time."
Stallone, 68, also spoke about his friendship with fellow action star Harrison Ford, which was fostered when they were both struggling actors in the late 1970s.
The star of 'Rocky' explained: "Both of us would be wondering how long this acting was gonna last. Actually we became very, very close ... Harrison is a very insulated, intelligent and very funny, very witty, dry humorist. When you tap into that, it's great."
