Roger Daltrey gatecrashed a wedding and sang on stage.
The Who rock legend surprised guests at Susan and Carl Smith’s wedding reception in Glasgow, Scotland, where he sang the band’s first ever single, ‘I Can’t Explain’.
Roger, 70, asked the wedding band, Milestone, whether he could get up and sing for the couple – and when they obliged, Roger belted out the vocals to the 1965 hit, the Daily Record newspaper reports.
On their Facebook page, Milestone explained: "He popped in to wish the bride and groom well and was very nice about the band. In fact, he even wanted to do a song.
"As we don’t really cover any Who songs we had to busk our way through a version of ‘I Can’t Explain.’"
Elsewhere, a wedding guest commented: "It was surreal to see one of rock ‘n roll’s biggest names of all time being a wedding a singer in a hotel.
"Everyone in the room went mental when he appeared, it was epic."
The Who – which also features guitarist Pete Townshend – are currently on their 50th anniversary tour, which will be their last ever series of major gigs.
