Mick Jagger praises ‘amazing’ Chadwick Boseman

Sir Mick Jagger claims Chadwick Boseman is "amazing" as James Brown in the singer's biopic 'Get On Up'.
The 71-year-old Rolling Stones rocker co-produced the movie and praised the young actor for his portrayal of the late musician - who passed away on Christmas Day 2006 - admitting that they turned down many established stars from the stage in favour of the actor.
He gushed: "He's amazing. The film wouldn't be any good if it wasn't for his brilliant performance. He has to carry the whole thing and does fantastically well.
"I mean he's not a performer coming from Broadway even though we looked at Broadway performers.
The 37-year-old actor was cast in the lead role following a breakthrough portrayal of Jackie Robinson in the 2013 baseball movie '42', a decision which the 'Paint It Black' singer confessed was a risky move.
He added: "Casting the lead role is super important and everyone has to agree on it. It was still a gamble but I think it really paid off."
The musician - who recently hit the headlines after attempting to claim compensation for the death of his long-term partner L'Wren Scott - now seems to have taken to filmmaking, and has already started working on another project which will focus on the early life of 'Jailhouse Rock' singer, Elvis Presley.
He said: "I'm also working on an Elvis thing I got asked to do because I was doing the James Brown film. I've been pigeon-holed!
"I was a huge Elvis fan and like his early stuff, obviously. Elvis had a very weird life but this is more an adolescent story. The early, early days."

Sheamus wants reality show for WWE Superstars

Sheamus wants to appear in a reality TV show about the WWE Superstars.
The 36-year-old star believes the success of E! series 'Total Divas', which follows the lives of the female competitors in the company, has shown that fans are interested in what happens outside of the ring and it's time the men got a shot at it.
Speaking to BANG Showbiz, he said: "I think there should be a new reality show for the guys, I think it would be interesting.
"It should definitely happen now we have the WWE Network. The bigger the Network grows the more content they are going to need and a reality show would definitely take off, especially if it had all the behind-the-scenes stuff.
"Fans want to know more and more about what happens away from the ring, and they want to know about the Superstars as people and what they are all about. The fans are hungry for that knowledge. If it happened, I believe it would be a very successful show."
Sheamus thinks a good format for the proposed programme would be to follow several of the Superstars on the road as they travel between live events and TV shows across the US and abroad.
The former World Heavyweight Champion believes that would give viewers more insight into their heroes' lives rather than a series based on their training at the WWE Performance Centre.
He explained: "I think the stuff at the Performance Centre would be interesting at first but it could become a bit repetitive, because the wrestlers are doing the same thing every day, five days a week. It could be interesting if there was enough on there and they had other stuff, then maybe it could be a successful show. Maybe a show about life on the road would be better, because you'd get to see how we actually live and what we have to do outside of the ring."
Sheamus and the other WWE Superstars are starting to get ready for 'WrestleMania XXXI', which takes place at Levi's Stadium in San Francisco Bay on Sunday, March 29, 2015
Tickets for the company's showpiece event are on sale at Ticketmaster.com now.

Bill Murray: Actors are heroes

Bill Murray thinks actors are heroes.
The 'Ghostbusters' star - who recently had an entire day dedicated to him at Toronto Film Festival - claims people admire actors so much because they get to escape reality by pretending to be someone else.
He said: "It's always a question, 'How are people pulling this off? How can they live with it, how can they be that person up on screen and then walk down a street or go to a grocery store or drive a car or have a conversation?' Like, 'How does that happen? Where do you get to be superhuman? How can you do it?'
"People identify with that. They think, I'd love to be Superman for a while, or be the guy who's being funny and not taking any guff. I wish I could say that to my neighbour or wife. That's what a hero does."
The 64-year-old actor also spoke about his passion for road safety and claimed a movie should be made about politician Ralph Nadar, who made it compulsory by law to wear a seatbelt in 1965.
Bill told the Guardian newspaper: "I mean, they made a movie about the German who smuggled the Jews out. He saved hundreds. Great man. Deserved a movie. Spectacular. Great film and a great human being. But this guy, Ralph - there's no movies about Ralph."

Robin Williams’ son: We’re doing OK

Robin Williams' son says the late star's family are still adapting "to the new normal" following his father's death.
The Hollywood actor died from asphyxia due to hanging at his home in August aged 63 and his eldest son Zak - whose mother is the 'Mrs. Doubtfire' star's first wife Valerie Velardi - admitted he and his half-siblings, Zelda, 25, and Cody, 22, are steadily adjusting to life without their dad.
Speaking in public for the first time since his father's passing, he told Us Weekly: "We're doing OK. We're acclimating to the new normal. Everything is step by step.
"Personally, my wife and I are focusing on doing a lot of good. She runs the San Francisco office of Human Rights Watch, and we're working with them to do good in the world."
Zak and his wife are attempting to encourage youngsters to be "generous and giving and kind", like his father.
He added: "Dad had almost a childlike love, and he shared that love with people, with everyone.
"And that ability to love, and that ability to be generous and giving and kind is something we would want to share with future generations."
His comments come after it was reported the 31 year old and his two younger half-siblings - from Robin's second marriage to Marsha Garces - reportedly inherited $50 million following the actor's suicide.
Robin's will is also said to have stated his third wife, Susan Schneider, will be cared for under the terms of a prenuptial agreement they signed before their wedding in Napa Valley, California in October 2011.
The 'Flubber' actor left instructions about how his fortune should be distributed by the Robin Williams Trust, which is now being run by a trustee, in the official document, dated January, 31, 2011.

Jennifer Lopez exfoliates with diamonds

Jennifer Lopez exfoliates her legs with diamonds.
The 'On the Floor' hitmaker reportedly swears by a $250 Australian-made body scrub that is made with "diamond powder" to keep cellulite at bay.
A source close to the 45-year-old beauty said: "Jen's legs are actually her biggest problem area.
"She's prone to cellulite, and when she gains weight, it always goes straight to her thighs. But since she started exfoliating daily, her legs have never looked better."
The 'Booty' singer also gets regular spray tans to make legs look their best.
The insider added to US OK! magazine: "Jen says the cream not only keeps her legs super smooth, it makes her spray tan last longer. She goes through a tub of it every month."
Earlier this year, Jennifer's personal trainer, Tracy Anderson, revealed she maintains her physique with a portion-controlled diet and 90-minute workouts.
She said: "She does the Tracy Anderson Method, which includes muscular structure work and between nine and 13 different exercises that change every 10 days, and dance aerobics as well. I keep [her butt] toned and in position. We do planks, moving the legs and butt at different angles."

Princess Beatrice rides roller coaster at Winter Wonderland

Princess Beatrice took a ride on a roller coaster as she enjoyed an evening at Christmas attraction Winter Wonderland on Thursday night (20.11.14).
The 26-year-old British royal enjoyed herself at the launch of the annual Yule Tide fair in London's Hyde Park and jumped on a Santa-themed miniature coaster for some festive frivolity with her friends.
Beatrice - whose parents are Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York - also had fun on the spinning tea cups, however, her bodyguard who accompanied her around the attraction could not be persuaded to join her on the charming ride.
One fellow visitor who spotted her on the tea cups told BANG Showbiz: "She seemed to be having a great time and enjoyed making the tea cups spin as fast as she could. You'd never have guessed she was a princess as she was just having fun like everyone else there on the night. When some people spotted her she just smiled and didn't seem bothered at all about being noticed."
After her turn on the tea cups, Beatrice grabbed a matt and went to go on a helter skelter slide but the queue was too long so she decided to leave the fun to the children who were waiting their turn.
The beautiful princess - who has a younger sister, 24-year-old Princess Eugenie - was one of a host of famous people to attend the opening of Winter Wonderland.
Other stars to enjoy the attraction included Kelly Brook, Helena Bonham Carter and her husband Tim Burton, Danny O'Donoghue, Brooklyn Beckham, Matt Smith, Nicole Appleton and Little Mix.
Winter Wonderland is open to the public from today (21.11.14) until January 4, 2015.
