Prince Harry reveals public speaking secret

Britain's Prince Harry is terrified of public speaking.
The 30-year-old royal made the revelation as part of the Feel No Shame campaign which is aiming to reduce the stigma associate with HIV for World AIDS Day.
In a video released online earlier today (01.12.14), he said: "My secret is, believe it or not, I get incredibly nervous before public speaking, no matter how big the crowd or the audience.
"And despite the fact that I laugh and joke all the time, I get incredibly nervous, if not anxious, actually, before going into rooms full of people when I'm wearing a suit."
The prince is just one of many famous faces who have revealed an intimate fact about themselves in order to show solidarity with the millions of people suffering from HIV across the globe, in an attempt to encourage people to seek help for their condition to stop the spread of the virus.
Former professional boxer Ricky Hatton also took part in the campaign by revealing that despite his tough exterior, he has a phobia of cats.
In his video, released this morning, he said: "Ever since that day, when I was one year of age, I've been scared of cats, and whenever one comes across my path I'm petrified of them."
Organised by charity Sentebale - which was co-founded by the flame-haired royal in 2006 - other A-listers also taking part in the campaign include Nicole Scherzinger, Paloma Faith and Gemma Arterton.
It is hoped the campaign's launch will encourage the public to use the hashtag #feelnoshame to reveal their own secrets.

Olly Murs to appear in EastEnders

Olly Murs is to star in an 'EastEnders' scene as part of his TV special.
The 30-year-old singer will be the star of 'A Night In With Olly Murs' and during the programme he makes a visit to Albert Square where he meets Alfie Moon - played by Shane Richie - and gets mistaken for a different pop star.
Olly is a huge fan of the soap and admits it was a dream come true to get to visit the Queen Vic pub.
He said: "I've watched the show since I can remember and my whole family are fans too. To get the chance to walk on to Albert Square was very surreal indeed."
During the show, viewers will also see the former 'X Factor' runner-up perform his biggest hits, including 'Dear Darlin'', 'Heart Skips A Beat' and his latest single 'Wrapped Up', with a live band.
Olly will be joined by a host of celebrity guests for various segments such as photo bombing with Nicole Scherzinger, tricking his one-time 'Xtra Factor' co-host Caroline Flack into believing cars can drive themselves and having a lip syncing battle with comedian John Bishop.
Olly mimes along to 5ive's 'If Ya Getting' Down' and Right Said Fred's 'I'm Too Sexy', while John pretends to sing Gloria Gaynor's 'I Will Survive' and 'YMCA' by the Village People.
Talking about the entertainment extravaganza - which is broadcast on ITV on Friday December 12 - Olly said: "I am so excited about doing my first TV special, it's going to be an amazing night. The show will be great fun, packed with off the wall comic segments, surprises and, of course, music."

Corrie’s Gail McIntyre to marry again

'Coronation Street' character Gail McIntyre is to marry for a sixth time in a new storyline.
The long-time Weatherfield resident - played by Helen Worth - will say "yes" when boyfriend Michael Rodwell (Les Dennis) gets down on one knee and pops the question as he realises she's the woman he wants to spend the rest of her life with.
However, with Gail's disastrous track record with husbands it is doubtful the scriptwriters will let her live happily ever after.
A source close to the show told the Daily Star newspaper: "She's had a cheater, a killer and now a thief with a severe heart condition. Something tells me Gail is doomed when it comes to marriage!"
Gail's first husband was mechanic Brian Tilsley - the father of her children Nick and Sarah-Louise - the couple divorced before remarrying, but she was eventually widowed when Brian was stabbed on the street in a tussle with some youths outside a nightclub.
Her second spouse was Martin Platt - the father of David - but they split after he had affairs. Third husband Richard Hillman was a murderer who tried to kill Gail and her children by driving them all into a river after his secret was discovered.
The man to walk Gail down for a fifth time was Joe McIntyre - the father of murdered barmaid Tina McIntyre - but he died after accidentally killing himself while trying to fake his own death in an insurance scam.
Gail is set for a big year in 2015 because as well as getting married she is going to be reunited with her daughter Sarah-Louise Platt, as Tina O'Brien is reprising her role after almost seven years away.
Speaking about the storyline, actress Helen previously said: "I'm absolutely delighted she's coming back. I can't wait to welcome her back."

Phillip Schofield to climb The Shard for Text Santa

Phillip Schofield is to climb up The Shard for 'Text Santa'.
The 52-year-old presenter has agreed to make his way to the top of the 87-storey London skyscraper - which is 309 metres (1,014 ft) high - to raise money for ITV's annual charity appeal.
Phillip announced the challenge on the midday 'ITV News & Weather' show during his 24-hour non-stop television broadcast today (01.12.14) for the charity.
During his appearance, he said: "I'll tell you something that we haven't told anybody else yet, this is an exclusive because you have to have an exclusive on the news. I have agreed - and it's a bit of a personal challenge for me - I am going to to climb to the very top of The Shard. I'm not going to do that today, we're going to do that in a few days time and that's for the 19th (December). That will put me 16 feet into civil airspace and barring an aeroplane or (someone) on a mountain I'll be the highest person in Europe."
Newsreader Steve Scott then asked Phillip if he was scared of heights, to which he replied: "I'm a little bit nervous, I'm not too bad, thankfully. It's quite gruelling to get up there, so that's the personal challenge, but what a view when you get to the top."
So far during his telethon, Phillip has hosted his usual show 'This Morning' with Amanda Holden, appeared on 'Loose Women' and the news and his exploits can be seen on ITV3 throughout the entire day as he is being followed every where he goes by cameras.
The star is looking forward to presenting the weather later and he is confident his toilet breaks will be super-speedy.
Phillip said: "There's no break at any stage, I'm hoping we've got (toilet breaks) all discreetly organised and during a break I'm very quick, I'll tell you that.
"There are all sorts of things planned, we've got guests coming through, we're on ITV3 all the way through, they're taking absolutely everything. After the evening news I'm going to do the weather then I'm doing the continuity throughout the night on ITV as well as the show on ITV3. It's for six incredible charities, there's a range chosen there so if you and your family feel it's the time of the year to help."
'Text Santa' will air on December 19 on ITV at 8.00pm and Phillip will be joined by presenters Christine Bleakley, Ant & Dec, Paddy McGuinness and Alesha Dixon.
The six charities being supported by 'Text Santa' this year are Teenage Cancer Trust, Guide Dogs, WellChild, Marie Curie Cancer Care, Alzheimer's Society and Together for Short Lives and 100 percent of all money donated goes directly to the charities and is divided evenly between them.

Only The Young: Mel B devotes time to X Factor acts

Only The Young have revealed Mel B spends more time with her 'X Factor' acts than the other judges.
The pop group left the singing competition in week seven of the live shows and although they were very pleased with how their mentor Louis Walsh worked with them they admit Mel B is far more hands on with her boys than Louis or the other judges, Simon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, are with their artists.
Speaking to BANG Showbiz, group member Mikey Bromley said: "Everyone has the same amount of time with all the judges whether it's shorter one week or longer the next week, nobody gets any favouritism or special treatment. Although Mel really likes to spend a lot of time with her category."
Discussing the band's working relationship with Louis, Mikey added: "Louis was in touch all the time but he was quite hands off, he let us get on with it and we worked well like that. We always came up with the arrangement and then approached him about it. Then he would give his opinion and we'd see if it was changed, that's the way it goes. We had a great time on 'The X Factor', it was a good experience for us."
Following their appearance on 'The X Factor', the four-piece band - also comprised of Parisa Tarjomani, Betsey-Blue English and Charlie George - now plan to release an album in 2015.
The guys will not be working with Boyzone manager Louis on the LP, but he has told them to ring him at any time if they need his advice.
Mikey said: "Louis is always there for us for advice and we can always ring him up, he's a great friend but we're happy with our team already. We've got a great team around us, so we wouldn't want to change that."
Only The Young were speaking to BANG Showbiz at the launch of Bluewater's Winter Wonderland last Friday (28.11.14) where they met Santa Claus and went ice skating.

The 'We Will Rock You' hitmakers are thrilled to be presenting some of their most famous hits at a special show close to Big Ben, both before and after the iconic clock strikes midnight to signal the turning of the year.

He said: "Words can't describe how excited I am, we are going to kick off 2015 in style!"

Nile Rodgers restoring CHIC recordings

Nile Rodgers is restoring some "lost" CHIC recordings.
The 62-year-old musician was given a number of boxes of tapes he feared were lost forever four years ago, and now he has beaten cancer, he is working hard on recording and reworking the material.
He revealed: "I physically lost our recordings when the studio we'd worked in for years was sold. This felt worse than death...
"In June 20, 2010, a number of boxes showed up at my house filled with tapes I'd thought were lost forever.
"I felt my original CHIC band had one more chance to live. A few months later I was stricken with extremely severe cancer and I said, 'Before I die I'm going to do so much music that CHIC won't ever be lost again.'
"In the last four years I've done more concerts and records than any period of my life. I'm currently cancer free and started to work on the lost CHIC tapes, which includes: analog multi-tracks, two-tracks, cassettes and hand-written scores and lyrics."
And the 'Le Freak' star is thrilled with one particular track which has "everybody" - including former backing vocalist Luther Vandross - on the recording.
He added on his blog: "Thirty-five years ago the original CHIC Organization LTD commercially and spiritually died. The last original surviving members, along with some of my current band mates, performed a vocal session on a song that was a CHIC Organization out-take, one of the rare few that exists. The session was perfect.
"The track has everybody from the 1st CHIC recording session on it, even Luther Vandross. There was more love in that room than I've felt in a long time.
"Maybe, There 'Is' Life After Death?(sic)"

Benedict Cumberbatch: I’m not in Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Benedict Cumberbatch insists he is not in 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' trailer.
The 38-year-old film star has laughed off claims that he is the mysterious voice behind the most recent trailer for the highly-anticipated science fiction film.
Benedict confirmed: "I am not the voice of the 'Star Wars' trailer, nor am I the hooded character with the rather cool new lightsaber."
When asked if he featured in the space opera at all, the 'Sherlock' star simply told the Radio Times website: "No."
Instead, it is thought that 'Lord of the Rings' actor Andy Serkis is the man behind "the hood".
According to the website HitFix, the 50-year-old star is set to play a "pivotal role" in the latest 'Star Wars' flick.
The source shared: "He's playing a pivotal role in the film, although he will not have a lot of screen time."
Despite his assertion that he doesn't feature in 'Star Wars' Benedict - who recently got engaged to his long-term girlfriend Sophie Hunter, 36 - remained humble when questioned about the award buzz surrounding his new film 'The Imitation Game' as he insisted he was simply "excited" to have more people hear about his character Alan Turing's legacy as a World War II code breaker.
He shared: "[I am] thrilled for the film and, you know, any kind of buzz around it, for any other reason, is just [...] people being intrigued to see the film.
"That's really exciting for me, because the only thing that matters is that his story and the legacy of his name is brought to a wider audience and that seems to be happening."

Mel B’s fairy ‘mini-me’

Mel B has described her 'Tinker Bell and the Legend of the Neverbeast' character as a "mini-me".
The 39-year-old television personality "thoroughly enjoyed" voicing the animated fairy Fury because they share the same "attitude".
She explained: "I'm Mel B - Scary Spice - playing Fury, it kind of suits me. She does have attitude my character, it's like a little mini-me."
Despite their similarities, Mel admitted how she sometimes found it difficult to replicate her feisty cartoon.
Talking in Disney UK's official YouTube video, Mel said: "You look at a massive screen of your character saying the lines and you try and match your voice to the character ... and that may take a few times."
Mel - who has four daughters, Phoenix Chi, 15, from her first marriage to Jimmy Gulzar, seven-year-old Angel Iris from her marriage to Eddie Murphy, and three-year-old Madison with her current husband Stephen Belafonte, who is father to Mel's step-daughter Giselle, 10 - revealed that the whole family was excited for her new film venture.
She said: "I've got four girls. They love Tinker Bell. In fact, they have lots of dress-ups. I'm a huge Disney fan. You name any Disney movie and they're all good."
The 'X Factor' judge even joked about her ITV co-stars Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh, as she mused over which fairy role would suit them best.
Mel said: "If Cheryl was to play a fairy she would be Tinker Bell. I think Simon Cowell would be the one trying to destroy everyone and everything and every land. And Louis would just be the funny one."

Snooki refused pre-nup

Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi and Jionni LaValle didn't have a pre-nuptial agreement.
The couple - who have children Lorenzo, two, and Giovanna, two months, together - tied the knot in New Jersey at the weekend and it has now been revealed the 27-year-old reality TV star shunned advice to sign a legal document stating how their assets will be divided if they split up, TMZ reports.
Though Jionni has a number of business ventures - including a T-shirt line, ATM owner and a wrestling coach - Snooki is their main bread winner, with a personal fortune of several million dollars.
Under local law in New Jersey, a divorce court judge will rule on a "fair" split of assets, though this doesn't necessarily mean an equal division.
The couple celebrated their marriage with 500 guests at the Venetian banqueting hall in New Jersey on Saturday (29.11.14), and it seems they overdid it at the 'Great Gatsby'-themed bash as Snooki revealed yesterday (30.11.14) she was spending the day watching TV and eating junk food with her new husband.
She tweeted: "Hungover with my husband. (That will not get old) getting mcdonalds and being slobs together. Waiting for walking dead tonight (sic)"

Demi Lovato lists $2.225m house

Demi Lovato has listed her $2.225 million house for a fourth time.
The 22-year-old singer has put her Toluca Lake home back on the market after previously listing the six-bedroom abode for $2.199 million in July before taking it back off the market after just two days, according to TMZ.
Demi previously purchased the property for $1.53 million in 2011 but departed in 2012.
The 'Heart Attack' hitmaker's latest move has sparked speculation she is keen to distance herself from her former friend Miley Cyrus as the 22-year-old star also lives nearby.
This comes after Demi - who is dating Wilmer Valderrama - admitted she cannot see herself hanging out with Miley much in the future because the pair having nothing in common anymore.
She said: "We're like ... we're acquaintances.
"It's life, and people change, and, you know, I don't have anything in common with her anymore, and I wish her all the best."
The brunette beauty previously admitted the pair used to get involved in "brutal" brawls with each other when they were good friends.
Speaking in 2012, she explained: "Miley Cyrus and I are strong headed. When we fight it's brutal and we're like, 'We're never going to be friends again!' Then two days later, were like, 'I love you and I miss you!'
"Both [Miley and Selena] will never leave my life no matter what happens, because we've been through so much together."

Rod Stewart breaks bone in car crash

Rod Stewart was involved in a head-on car crash.
The 69-year-old singer managed to escape the death-defying smash with just a broken finger, which he later painted silver to walk the red carpet at a glitzy event, but his wife Penny Lancaster has revealed the 'Maggie May' hitmaker was incredibly lucky to survive the incident.
She said: "He was unfortunately involved in a car accident on the way to a show. He escaped relatively unharmed apart from a broken finger.
"It was black and blue so he painted it silver. A car was on the wrong side of the road so it was complete head-on."
Rod - who has two children with Penny, Alistair, nine, and three-year-old Aiden - debuted his silver fingernail at the Mercedes-Benz Carousel Of Hope Gala in Los Angeles in mid-October, just two weeks after his horror smash.
Despite his injured digit, the talk of the event was that Penny could be pregnant as Rod sparked speculation she might be expecting as he was pictured rubbing her stomach, but the 43-year-old beauty has confirmed that is not the case.
Speaking on ITV's 'Loose Women', she added: "If you're not holding hands then you're breaking up and I'd been losing a bit of weight and I wasn't confident about the dress I was wearing and I think it was him just going, 'Oh, look at you, I'm proud of you.'
"But then it gets turned into, 'She's pregnant.' But I'm not."
News of Rod's near-death crash comes after both David Beckham and Angelina Jolie were involved in separate car crashes over the weekend.
Fortunately, both escaped their respective incidents without any serious injuries, although the former footballer, who was with his 15-year-old son Brooklyn at the time, was said to have injured his shoulder.
