Simon Webbe was worried the public would "hate" him after he beat Pixie Lott in the 'Strictly Come Dancing' dance-off.
The Blue singer and his professional dance partner Kristina Rihanoff found themselves in the bottom two during the quarter-finals on Sunday night's show (07.12.14) against the blonde pop star and her partner Trent Whiddon.
'Strictly' judge Craig Revel Horwood opted to save Pixie and Trent, as did Bruno Tonioli, while Darcey Bussell wanted to save Simon and Kristina.
It was then left to head judge Len Goodman, who voted for the Blue singer, meaning he was through to the semi-finals alongside Caroline Flack, Jake Wood, Frankie Bridge and Mark Wright.
Recalling his shock, Simon shared: "When I got through, I was ecstatic. It was a massive shock.
"But I've been reading social media and I'm a bit worried everyone's going to hate me because a lot of people thought Pixie was a better dancer and didn't deserve to go.
"But Len is head judge and he chose me. With his trained eye, perhaps he saw something the public didn't. I just want to work hard and try not to let Len down."
Surprisingly, the 'One Love' crooner admitted he felt as though he would be eliminated before he had even hit the dancefloor.
He told The Sun newspaper: "I'd actually accepted that I was probably going home on Saturday morning.
"I told myself that the best times I'd had so far were when I let go and enjoyed it. So I did that. It helped."
Jennifer Aniston is planning to renovate Justin Theroux's apartment in New York City.
The 45-year-old actress - who has been engaged to 'The Leftovers' star since August 2012 - admits she can't wait to revamp his former bachelor pad in Manhattan after finally completing renovations on their $21 million Bel Air home in California over the summer.
Discussing her love for interior design, she said: "It's what I love to do. It's a great outlet for me, a hobby if you will. I've got to get my hands on something because I can't sit still. I mean, I haven't done anything since June, for Christ's sake!"
Despite spending a lot of her free time renovating properties, Jennifer, who has three dogs, Dolly, Sophie and Clyde, insists she always makes time to just relax.
She told Harper's Bazaar magazine: "I don't live to work; I really do work to live. I love my home, I love my dogs, I love my friends, I love the simplicity of watching a sunset."
The 'Cake' star admits she is still surprised by her success.
She said: "There are moments when you have to stop and pinch yourself and go, 'I'm here.' I did something good."
Sam Worthington has argued paparazzi should expect to "risk" getting hurt doing their jobs.
The 'Avatar' actor was cleared of assault earlier this year following an altercation with Sheng Li in February but the photographer has brought a $10 million civil lawsuit against him and girlfriend Lara Bingle for inflicting injury and slander and the 38-year-old actor has now submitted a response.
His lawyer Rachel Wade argued in recent filings that when the photographer decided to follow the couple he "knew the hazards thereof and the inherent risks incident thereto and had full knowledge of the ranges thereof."
According to the New York Post newspaper's Page Six column, she went on to insist that any injuries "were caused by reason of such risks voluntarily undertaken by the plaintiff in his activities and such risks were assumed and accepted by him in performing and engaging in said activities."
A settlement conference has been scheduled for January 7.
Following the altercation in New York's Greenwich Village, Sam avoided jail after he quietly entered into a conditional dismissal deal at Manhattan Criminal Court in New York.
The hunky star submitted a waiver to the court explaining he was "contractually committed" to work in Europe at this time and thanked the judge for working with his schedule.
He wrote in a statement: "I understand that as long as I continue to lead a law abiding life, this matter will be dismissed and sealed."
The actor was accused of punching the photographer multiple times in the face after Lara, 27, claimed he kicked her shin.
Sam was charged with third-degree assault, third-degree attempted assault and second-degree harassment.
The photographer was also arrested and booked for reckless endangerment, assault and harassment.
Sam previously got into an altercation with a photographer in 2012, when he was arrested and pepper sprayed following an argument outside a restaurant in Atlanta.
Sir Elton John and David Furnish will get married in a "small and intimate ceremony" next weekend.
The 67-year-old singer and his 52-year-old partner have invited 50 of their friends and family - including the likes of David and Victoria Beckham, Elizabeth Hurley and Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne - to their home in Windsor, Berkshire, South East England, for the ceremony on December 21.
A friend explained: "Elton and David have been planning this for months.
"Elton is flamboyant but, for once, this will be decidedly low-key affair. Only close friends and family are invited - it's going to be a small, intimate do."
The couple - who have been together for 21 years and exchanged vows in a civil partnership ceremony in 2005 - are planning for their two sons, Zachary, three, and Elijah, 23 months, to be ringbearers during the ceremony.
The source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "It's important to David and Elton the boys play a special part."
Guests at the ceremony will be treated to festive-themed canapes and mulled wine.
It only became legal to convert civil partnerships in to marriage two days ago and the couple's wedding promises a much different affair to that they staged nine years ago, which featured 650 guests, including Lulu and Ringo Starr.
One Direction's rider is full of lunchbox snacks.
The five-piece boy band - which features Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan - have no lavish requests for their dressing room at the venues where they perform because they can't be bothered to think up an extravagant list of demands.
Speaking at the BBC Music Awards at London's Earl's Court on Thursday (11.12.14), Liam told BANG Showbiz: "The terrible thing is we're just a bit lazy to make a rider really."
Among the nibbles of choice for the 'Night Changes' hitmakers before taking to the stage are cheesy Wotsits crisps, Dairylea cheese and cracker packs and Pot Noodle instant meals, because they remind them of the foods their parents gave them to take to school as youngsters.
Liam continued: "We did start the other day and what we did was, we went through back at school, what you'd have in your lunchbox, you'd get to school and your mam would have put something nice in your lunchbox. We're talking Lunchables, Dairylea Dunkers. Pot Noodles are on there as well as Wotsits."
The group - who performed their hit single 'Steal My Girl' at the star-studded television event - later joked about the unhealthy nature of their requests.
Louis quipped: "We're all up for healthy living."
Sam Faiers wants to compete on 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The former 'Only Way is Essex' star is a big fan of the celebrity dance contest and though she enjoys throwing shapes out in a club, she thinks she has a lot to learn.
She said: "I'd love to do 'Strictly' at some stage. I might think I have rhythm when I'm in a club but I really can't dance. So I'd love to learn."
Sam's former boyfriend and 'TOWIE' co-star Mark Wright is currently competing on the show and the reality star is very proud of his progress, even though Lauren Goodger - Mark's ex-fiancee - has mocked his moves.
Sam said: "Mark has become a great dancer and although I know Lauren had a go at him, I think good on him.
"It was such a big thing for Mark to put himself out of his comfort zone, but he has a great support group around him.
"I bet Lauren's comment went straight over his head - he wouldn't have cared at all."
Sam, 24, recently met Kim Kardashian West and her mother and manager Kris Jenner at a Los Angeles party and admits she was "mesmerised" by the showbiz matriarch.
She told Closer magazine: "Kim was very much as you'd expect. She was flawless, polite and smiley, but Kris was this massive force.
"She came across as very powerful with a big aura and character. I was a bit mesmerised by her as she was so fabulous."

John Lydon thinks the Sex Pistols are too fat to reunite.
The 58-year-old rocker has ruled out a possible reunion with his band mates Steve Jones and Paul Cook because they've all "put on weight"
John - who once starred in the ''Country Life' butter commercials - shared: "Oh no, that's finished. I mean have you seen us? I mean We've all put on weight but Mr Jones here is coming it at 500 pounds! And I did the butter advert!"
The 'God Save the Queen' admitted he had been further put off the idea of reforming after watching Mick Jagger at Glastonbury in 2013.
When asked if there should be an age limit on performing, John had some choice words for the 71-year-old Rolling Stones frontman.
He quipped: "No, only if you're Mick Jagger. Did anybody see last year's Glastonbury? I mean come on Mick ... it's not about age here, its about the show off bull**** ... I wanted the Stones to give us the juice, the stuff that really put them there in the first place.
"But no, it's Mick in ladies' tights and his testicles are frocked and he's running around like a speed freak and then there's the band looking incredibly embarrassed."
Despite confirming that a Sex Pistols reunion isn't on the cards, John insisted he will still be making his music.
He added: "[I'd stop] only if I got bored with it, and as long as there's human beings in the world, I'm not going to get bored."
Adam Levine wants to have 17 children with Behati Prinsloo.
The Maroon 5 frontman has revealed his plan to have a big family with his Victoria's Secret model wife, although he noted it won't be happening for some time yet.
After discussing the subject with his fellow 'The Voice' coach Gwen Stefani, 45, - who has three sons with her husband Gavin Rossdale, eight-year-old Kingston, Zuma, six, and nine-month-old Apollo - Adam shared: "[I want] like, 17. Is that reasonable? I love kids so much though. I love seeing kids on the set too."
However, the 'Animals' hitmaker was quick to emphasise how he isn't planning on making any babies with Behati, 25, any time soon.
Talking to E! News, Adam joked: "Yeah, we're gonna do it at some point in the not-so-distant-slash-undisclosed-slash-I-really-have-no-idea-big-question-mark future. Is that ambiguous enough for you?"
The 35-year-old singer is known for his buff physique but he insisted that having a large brood won't stop him from hitting the gym.
He quipped: "I'll make them work out with me!"
Abigail Breslin has called Taylor Swift an "unstable cat lady".
The 'Little Miss Sunshine' actress appeared to criticise the pop star, as she tweeted a variation of the lyrics to Taylor's hit song 'Blank Space'.
In a perceived dig, the 18-year-old star wrote: "Cuz darling I'm a nightmare dressed like an emotionally unstable cat lady. (sic)"
While Taylor's original line reads: "'Cause darling I'm a nightmare dressed like a daydream."
It's not the first time Abigail has started a feud with another celebrity.
In November, the blonde penned the scathing song 'You Suck' which seemed aimed at her ex-boyfriend, 5 Seconds of Summer rocker Michael Clifford, 19.
The video - which is posted on her official YouTube channel - includes the lyrics: "I hate your dumb tattoos/I wish you'd fly to the moon, where there are no girls to use or screw over."
She later told Teen Vogue magazine: "This is a song I wrote about those guys who are players and use people and just generally aren't really good people.
"It's about things I've witnessed - it's not OK when guys don't have respect for girls. I wrote it in the heat of the moment, and I think a lot of people will relate to it."
Voice actor Redd Pepper would "love" to feature in the 'Transfomers' movies.
The 53-year-old star has voiced trailers for a huge number of popular films, including 'Amistad', 'The Blair Witch Project', 'Men in Black' and 'Boogie Nights', and has revealed that his ultimate ambition is to feature in one of the 'Transformers' sci-fi movies.
Redd told BANG Showbiz: "I'd love my voice to be in Transformers, with Optimus Prime - and the enemy. I'd love to be the enemy of Optimus Prime.
"I've got a great voice, I could do that. And every time I watch that movie, I'm thinking I really want to be, if I have a dream, that would be it. To be in the Transformers movie as the enemy of Optimus Prime."
Redd also revealed he's a fan of "nonsense" and "crazy" films.
He explained: "I like the fantasy movies, the crazy stuff. The stuff that is so farfetched that it's great cinema.
"That's what I call popcorn cinema. It's not real but you get into it. Superman, Marvel comic stuff, it's all nonsense but it's fantastic. Star Wars is not real but it's fantastic, it's crazy."

Ed Sheeran has praised the BBC Music Awards for being one of the only award ceremonies that is not "rigged".
The 'Thinking Out Loud' hitmaker - who picked up the award at the ceremony last night (11.12.14) for British Artist of the Year - explained how he had "lost" out on other prizes because he couldn't attend the shows.
He told BANG Showbiz: "Like most award shows, you don't really know what's going to happen, you don't know whether its been rigged ...
"I think if it was going to be a rigged thing, there would be 15 awards and they would make the Coldplay Award for Excellence, so Coldplay would turn up. That's what you kind of get from those big things, they make those awards so people turn up ...
"Like, One Direction aren't even nominated and they're coming to play, I think it shows the power of BBC as a brand."
The 23-year-old singer also revealed that he was "second choice" in the past for some award categories.
He said: "I won an award in the summer for a very, very big awards show, and I won it because Pharrell didn't turn up, and they were like, 'Well we were going to give it to Pharrell but he didn't turn up so you can have it'. So I know award shows are rigged basically.
"I remember the MOBOs a couple of years ago, they said I'd won two and on the night, someone else won two, because I was on tour and couldn't go. But god bless the MOBOs."
Meanwhile, Ed was full of thanks for his fans and the BBC as he picked up his award last night (11.12.14).
He said: "I just wanna say a massive thank you to everyone whose bought a record, bought a ticket, streamed on YouTube, streamed on Spotify ... I don't know if anyone here has, but thank you so much.
"Radio 1 and 1Xtra were the first people to ever play [my music] and that broke everything through for me. BBC have been such big supporters so I wanna say a massive thank you to them."
