Tom Jones planning gigs in 2043

Sir Tom Jones thinks he will be playing gigs when he's 103.
The 'Delilah' hitmaker is planning to perform up until 2043 according to his website, which lets fans keep tabs on live dates for the next 30 years.
The tour section of the singer's official website runs for almost three decades - suggesting the star could still be playing shows beyond his 100th birthday.
Fans have joked about the optimistic plan, with Twitter user @StigAbell quipping: "It's unusual."
Another wasn't too convinced by the dates, seeming very sceptical of the star's ability to still be performing in 30 year's time.
@Joshfarmer26 wrote: "So Tom Jones wants to do a concert tour in 2043 when he's 103. Yeah sure whatever you say mate."
Meanwhile, a fan pondered Tom's longevity, wondering if he had a secret to "anti" aging.
@CaldyTheSeagull added: "Tickets for Tom Jones go on sale for 2043. Crikey, has he got one of those anti age things?"
While no dates are currently listed on the website, Tom has plans for a huge world tour in 2015 to celebrate 50 years since the release of his first hit single 'It's Not Unusual'.
He said: "I am going to do a lot of shows in as many countries as possible. And so I want to show that I can still do it after 50 years.
"I am still having as much fun now as when I started. I like to sing and, thank God, people like to hear me sing."

Designer wants Princess Diana dress on display

The designer of Britain's Princess Diana's wedding dress has begged Princes William and Harry to put it on permanent display.
The lavish gown - which featured 10,000 pearls and a 25ft train - has been in the possession of the late royal's brother Earl Spencer since her death in a Paris car crash in 1997 but now he has handed it over to her sons, Elizabeth Emanuel has urged her sons to allow the 1981 creation to be viewed by the public.
Elizabeth - who designed the dress with her brother David - said: "I'm hoping and assuming that it will go on display at Kensington Palace, as so many people want to see the dress.
"It's ridiculous that the Diana dress was not in the recent V&A exhibition Wedding Dresses 1775-2104. They had to make do with a video instead."
Earl Spencer handed over the dress - which Diana wore to her 1981 wedding to the princes' father Prince Charles - to William and Harry last month in accordance with his sister's will, who asked for her belongings to be "looked after" by him until both her sons turned 30.
However, a Kensington Palace spokesperson insisted the two royals have not yet made a decision on what to do with the dress.
They said: "The wedding dress and other items that were on display at the Althorp Estate have just been returned to the Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry.
It is too early to say what the long-term plans will be for the wedding dress."
The spokesperson declined to comment on where the dress is currently being stored.

"They have my home phone number, my mobile number - they are like my kids, like my family!
"I know it's a competition and someone has to go every week, but it still goes urgh in your heart."
Meanwhile, Jake has admitted he doesn't think he performed as well as he could have done on the show.
He said: "I don't think I've done myself justice on any of the live shows, I can be a lot better than that, and I'll prove that, but I want to get my fingers in all kinds of pies now, work-wise...
"I've done an amazing thing and I've been on such a class journey and I've literally made friends for life."

Victoria Beckham named most successful

Victoria Beckham has been named Britain's most successful entrepreneur.
The 40-year-old singer-turned-fashion designer has topped a list of over 100 business people after seeing her fashion empire's turnover rise from £1 million to a staggering £30 million in just five years, with her staff growing from three employees to 100.
Andrew Saunders of Management Today magazine, who compiled the list based on the last five years, told The Daily Telegraph newspaper: "She's got a real business, some design talent and some business nous. She gets a lot of stick for being a celeb fashionista but I don't think that's fair.
"She has built something real out of her own celebrity which is quite a contemporary story. She deserves to be celebrated."
Victoria - who has children Brooklyn, 15, Romeo, 12, Cruz, nine, and Harper, three, with husband David Beckham - launched her eponymous label in 2008 and opened her first stand-alone boutique in London last month.
According to Management Today, she now has a personal fortune of a staggering £210 million, which also helped push her towards the top spot.
The magazine considered factors such as number of jobs created, overall estimated wealth and sales figures over a five-year period in compiling the list.
Amit & Meeta Patel, founders of pharmaceutical group Auden Mckenzie, and Mahmud Kamani of Boohoo.com took second and third place in the list.

Robin Williams was honoured by the San Francisco Giants last night (26.10.14).
The late 'Mrs Doubtfire' star was a huge fan of the baseball team so ahead of their World Series game against Kansas City Royals yesterday, his children Zak, Zelda and Cody - who all wore team jerseys with their surnames on the back - and close friend Billy Crystal were invited out onto the AT&T Park playing area.
Zak threw the first pitch to Billy, who stood at the home plate, and a visual montage of Robin's movies interspersed with pictures of him and Giants stars was shown on the big screens in the stadium.
His kids said in a statement: "We are honoured to be here in tribute to our father, someone who loved his hometown and especially the Giants.
"For all of us, it is a tremendous delight and a little surreal to throw out the ceremonial first pitch of a World Series game for our team to our dad's best friend. We could not think of a better way to celebrate his memory. Let's go Giants!"

Oprah Winfrey’s driver runs over woman’s foot

Oprah Winfrey's driver ran over a woman's foot.
The chat show host was left horrified when the driver of her SUV allegedly almost broke Lori Geller Bender's ankle after accidentally reversing onto her toes outside a restaurant in Miami.
The woman told the New York Post newspaper: "We were crossing the street to arrive at the restaurant, and there were a lot of cameras.
"I could see a big crowd of security guards, and as soon as Oprah got into the car, it pulled out from the curb, and a wheel went over my foot. I was wearing heels, my toe was trapped under the wheel and I fell to the ground, hitting my coccyx and my head.
"My husband was banging on the window, shouting for the driver to pull back. I am lucky because if the SUV had gone slightly further forward it would have crushed my whole ankle."
Oprah leaped out of the vehicle and was "really shocked" when she realised what had happened, and told the supporter it was definitely "worth a picture".
Lori added: "The driver reversed off my foot and Oprah jumped out. She couldn't have been nicer and more gracious. She looked really shocked and asked me if I was OK, and took a good look at my foot.
"I wasn't hurt, and I told her I was fine. Oprah said, 'Well, that's worth a picture,' and she put her arm around me and we took some photos."
"It has always been on my bucket list to meet Oprah, but I could never have imagined it would be because her driver ran over my toe. It's a crazy story."

Seth MacFarlane throws weekend of parties

Seth MacFarlane threw two star-studded birthday parties over the weekend.
The 'Ted' creator celebrated his 41st birthday with an elaborate bash in Los Angeles on Saturday (25.10.14) which was attended by celebrity mates including socialite Paris Hilton and 'Pretty Little Liars' actress Ashley Benson.
Paris led the way with the congratulatory messages, tweeting: "Happy Birthday @SethMacFarlane! Such a fun birthday party last night. Wishing you the best on your special day. (sic)"
The 'Family Guy' creator opted for a casual shirt but other party-goers chose more extravagant looks, with Paris dressing up in a corset scattered with diamonds and blue bunny ears, posing for an Instagram snap with another guest who had decided to mimic fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld.
It wasn't the first event which the actor threw over the weekend, with the birthday boy also hosting a fancy orchestral performance at UCLA's Royce Hall on Friday night (24.10.14), with Charlize Theron and Olivia Wilde in attendance.
The John Wilson Orchestra performed 17 songs, with the 'American Dad!' creator singing two tracks with the team of musicians, including a version of 'Singing in the Rain'.

Jesse Eisenberg wanted for Suicide Squad

Jesse Eisenberg is set to return as Lex Luthor in another movie.
The 31-year-old actor's portrayal of the villain in 'Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice' has impressed Warner Bros. and DC Comics bosses so they want him to reprise the role in the forthcoming film based on the 'Suicide Squad', which will be directed by David Ayer, Deadline reports.
The movie sees a group of supervillains from the comic book world recruited for dangerous missions by the government and stars including Will Smith, Ryan Gosling, Tom Hardy and Margot Robbie are said to be being considered for parts.
So far, Eisenberg is just in talks for the movie as he is already committed to appearing in 'Now You See Me 2' and is also considering a role in 'Arms & The Dudes', Todd Phillips' forthcoming stoner comedy.
Once casting is in place and work begins on the film, 'Suicide Squad' is expected to be released in August 2016.
Director Ayer recently spoke of how excited he was to get to work on the project.
The 'Fury' filmmaker said: ."I love the passion [comic-book fans] have for these characters and these worlds. I think there's something incredible about the comic genre and technology has finally caught up with pen and ink to render these fantastic worlds in a way that feels believable and visceral to audiences. It's a secular religion in that regards. The mythology that these characters represent - the idea of them as fallen gods on Earth - is intriguing to me. I can't wait to start exploring those corridors."

Caroline Flack idolises Claudia Winkleman

Caroline Flack's "role model" is Claudia Winkleman.
The former 'Xtra Factor' star is currently competing on 'Strictly Come Dancing' and admires the way the host - who co-presents with Tess Daly - interacts with the audience and makes presenting look effortless.
She said: "Claudia is a role model. I watch her live and the way she makes the audience feel so up is amazing. She's 'on' the whole time - even when she walks off-screen.
"She has amazing self-deprecating humour and is smart and quick. And I look at her and think, 'You are so good.' That's the kind of stuff I look to do.
"I mean, Tess is good as well but they're so different."
The 34-year-old presenter insists she isn't feeling "pressure" over her age compared with younger presenters and only cares about "nailing" her work rather than looking good.
She told Look magazine: "I'm not feeling the pressure yet. Anyway, it's only pressure if you let it get to you. I'd much rather nail my job than look great but not nail my job."

Luissa Zissman slams fame-hungry Apprentice candidates

Luisa Zissman has slammed 'The Apprentice' contestants for "wanting to be famous".
The 27-year-old star - who has competed on 'Celebrity Big Brother' and is a regular fixture at showbiz parties since coming second on the business reality show in 2013 - thinks some of this year's candidates are taking part in the show for the wrong reasons.
She said: "I've heard that a few of the new candidates have been in touch with showbiz agents already so maybe some aren't in it for the right reasons.
"People used to go on the show to establish themselves as serious entrepreneurs but now people just want to be famous."
And Luisa insists she has no interest in taking part in any more reality shows and wants to step out of the spotlight to focus on her fiance Andrew Collins and daughter Dixie, five, who she has with ex-husband Oliver Zissman.
She told Closer magazine: "I'd love to be a TV presenter but I would not be up for another reality TV show.
"I'll take a step away from showbiz to concentrate on my family - my priorities will be motherhood and my business.
"Dixie has only just started school and it's really important for me to be there as a mum."
