Beyonce Knowles arranges Blue Ivy and Prince George play date

Beyonce Knowles has arranged a play date for her daughter with Prince George in the new year.
The 32-year-old singer and her husband Jay Z met Duchess Catherine and Prince William at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn while watching a basketball game on Monday (08.12.14), and Beyonce is said to have bonded with the brunette royal about their children and arranged for Blue Ivy, two, to meet the 16-month-old prince.
A source said: "Bey was in awe of Kate and William and they found common ground talking about their babies. Now they've pledged to introduce Blue Ivy to Prince George when they come to England in the new year.
"They've already made a play date at George's nursery."
As well as enjoying the basketball game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Brooklyn Nets as part of her and William's three-day trip to New York, Catherine - who is pregnant with the couple's second child - also chatted to Beyonce about their Christmas present ideas for Blue and George.
The source told the Daily Star newspaper: "They were also discussing Christmas presents and how they didn't want to spoil their children.
"They agreed something small that their children can take to bed and cuddle is always a winner."
Another onlooker recently admitted it was like a "mob scene" around the two couples when they met at the match.
They explained: "Bey and Jay got up out of their seats during the break before the fourth quarter and walked across the court to say hi.
"Everyone was standing up and gawking. It's a mob scene around them."

Sarah-Jane Crawford lied about age

Sarah-Jane Crawford has reportedly been lying about her age.
It has been revealed the star - who hosts ITV2's 'Xtra Factor' - has been claiming to be younger than she actually is, stating her age is 29, when she is in fact 33-years-old.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Sarah-Jane claims she's never lied about her age -- that people just assumed she was 29 and she has never corrected them."
The BBC Radio 1Xtra presenter is rumoured to have felt pressured by the station - and sister station BBC Radio 1 - who have been making a concerted effort in recent years to appeal to a younger audience, which may have encouraged her to pretend to be younger than she is.
However, the host has made some hiccups along the way, after it was reported she took her GCSE exams in 1997, which would have made her just 12-years-old at the time.
As well as this, the beauty has previously spoken about her first television job on Channel 4 reality show 'Shipwrecked' in 2002 which would have made her 16-years-old at the time, despite the fact contestants had to be over 18 to appear.
The television talent has not commented on the revelations, but has instead been expressing her excitement for the final of 'The X Factor' this weekend, which will see Ben Haenow, Fleur East or Andrea Faustini crowned the show's winner.
She wrote on Twitter: "2 more sleeps until the final !!! #xtrafactor (sic)."

Take That to perform with X Factor finalists

Take That will perform 'Rule The World' alongside the three finalists on 'The X Factor' on Saturday (13.12.14).
The 'These Days' hitmakers - Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald - will take to the stage to perform with Fleur East, Ben Haenow and Andrea Faustini.
A show insider explained: "It's really unusual for producers to team up the final three contestants, as this is when they stand or fall as individuals.
"But they wanted to spice things up. So rather than having them sing two songs each and a duet, they'll each be performing a duet and then this collaboration."
The wannabe popstars will join the remaining members of Take That for a rendition of their 2006 hit single, which they also sang at the London Olympics closing ceremony.
The source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "It's bound to go down really well with the audience at the arena and will make great TV."
However, Take That face a race against time to make the show at London's Wembley Arena as they will be travelling from a Radio Brocken gig in Berlin, Germany.
The source added: "It's going to be a race against the clock to make it to London. They cannot be delayed for a second, so they're going to have a very nervous team around them as they rush to their private jet."
One Direction, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith and 'All About That Bass' hitmaker Meghan Trainor are also set to perform duets with the final contestants over the weekend.

Mick Carter to smash up the Queen Vic

EastEnders' Mick Carter will smash up the Queen Vic when he finds out his wife was raped.
The pub landlord, played by Danny Dyer in the BBC One soap, will discover his wife Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) was raped by his nephew Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) - who he is yet to learn is actually his brother - during the festive season and will reportedly go "berserk".
A source told The Sun newspaper: "This is going to be one of the most explosive episodes in 'EastEnders' history.
"Viewers will be stunned by just how mad Mick goes. The Vic is the most iconic place on Albert Square and there is something very symbolic about the bust behind the bar.
"Viewers have seen him be the most loving family man, who will go above and beyond for every one of them. But when he learns what happened to the woman he adores, he finds it impossible to control himself and flies into a rage.
"He goes berserk and picks up the Queen Vic bust and hurls it into the bar before smashing the place up."
Danny previously suggested Dean could be in serious trouble when Mick discovers the truth.
He said: "The audience will know that the bomb is going to go off.
"But they'll be asking themselves, 'How big is that bomb going to be?'
"And let me tell you, it's nuclear. I take insanity to a new level."
It's not yet known how Mick will find out about the devastating attack, but as Linda is set to confess what she's been through to Dean's girlfriend Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), she could be the one to break the news.

Chloe Sims and Elliott Wright are back together

Chloe Sims and Elliott Wright are back together.
'The Only Way Is Essex' stars broke up earlier this year when Chloe claimed she felt alone in the relationship but after he spoke to her about his plans to move on in last night's (11.12.14) Christmas special, she confessed she couldn't stand the thought of him being with another woman.
She said: "He was in my room until 5am and he said he was going to move on and the thought of someone touching him ... I can't stand it ... He's still mine but he's two different people."
In a heart-to-heart with best pal Lauren Pope, Chloe admitted hearing him talk about another woman made her realise she can't live without him.
She shared: "The way he was talking was like we were mates ... The way he was going on made me feel sick to my stomach.
"My place in his bed is still warm, back off. It's all reversed on me - he's in control now."
Deciding to tell her former beau how she felt, Chloe confronted Elliot at co-star Lydia Bright's festive ball and confessed she wanted to give their relationship another shot.
Chloe said: "I want you. I've made a massive mistake. I don't want anyone to touch you or have you. Can we be serious again?"
Elliot replied: "I love you because you're crazy ... I do still love you. We'll take things slow and we'll spend Christmas together."
Meanwhile, earlier in the episode, Chloe's former flame Mario Falcone claimed she'd tried to seduce him while she was still on-and-off with Elliott and told her he no longer wanted to be her friend.

Dr Dre names highest paid musician

Dr. Dre has been named the highest-paid musician of 2014 by Forbes magazine.
The music mogul topped the financial bible's annual list after picking up a staggering $620 million in the last year, largely due to the sale of his Beat Electronics company to Apple.
His huge fortune makes second-placed Beyonce's $115 million seem tiny in comparison, though she was one of only two other stars to earn over $100 million, with third placed The Eagles taking home exactly that sum, largely thanks to a world tour.
In fourth place were Bon Jovi, who earned $82 million and attributed their fortune to being "efficient" and keeping entourage costs to a minimum.
Frontman Jon Bon Jovi said: "I think it's just wise to be efficient. I know big bands where each of them have personal assistants on the road, each of them has a security guard. We don't have a security guard. Take your own friggin' bags!"
Rounding out the top five was veteran rocker Bruce Springsteen, just $1 million behind Bon Jovi with $81 million.
The top 10 was completed by 'Believe' singer Justin Bieber, boy band One Direction, Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney, DJ Calvin Harris and country star Toby Keith.
Forbes spoke to industry experts and compiled income from touring, recorded music, publishing, merchandise sales, endorsements and other ventures from the period June 2013 to June 2014 to produce the rankings.

J.K. Rowling’s novel gets BBC adaptation

J.K. Rowling's novel 'Cuckoo's Calling' has landed a TV deal with BBC One.
The 'Harry Potter' author announced the exciting news on her Twitter page yesterday (10.12.14) as she pretended to praise the fictional Robert Galbraith - the name of her pseudonym - for his achievement.
She wrote: "My friend @RGalbraith's first novel is going to be a TV drama on @BBCOne. He's very excited, but expressing it with characteristic silence. (sic)"
'The Cuckoo's Calling' was originally released in 2013, however, fans of the 49-year-old writer had no idea she was responsible for the detective story as it had been released under Robert's name.
However, soon after its release there was an information leak from the law firm Russells which revealed the author's true identity.
Despite the leak, J.K Rowling explained she "fully intended" to continue the series and earlier this year she released a sequel called 'The Silkworm' earlier this year, still using the pseudonym.
Speaking about the adaptation of 'Cuckoo's Calling', Director of BBC Television, Danny Cohen said: "It's a wonderful coup for BBC Television to be bringing J.K. Rowling's latest books to the screen.
"With the rich character of Cormoran Strike at their heart, these dramas will be event television across the world."
This is not the first time the author has seen her work transformed for the screen. Her 2012 novel 'The Casual Vacancy' is also currently being turned into a mini-series for BBC One, featuring Michael Gambon, who played Dumbledore in six of the eight 'Harry Potter' movies.

Simon Cowell tells Lily Allen to stop ‘bleating on’

Simon Cowell has told Lily Allen to "stop bleating" on about Fleur East.
The 55-year-old music mogul has rubbished claims by the 'Hard Out Here' singer which insinuated he had purposedly chosen the song 'Uptown Funk' for his contestant to sing on Saturday's episode of 'The X Factor' (07.12.14), because it would give the record company the chance to bring the release date forward on the Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson track.
In a series of tweets, Lily wrote: "Allow xfactor (sic)
"Is this even out yet ? #XFactor (sic)"
She then engaged in a lengthy discussion on the subject with the music website Pop Justice.
However, Simon has firmly told the 29-year-old pop star to mind her own business.
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Lily should stop bleating on about all this. Fleur needed this break, got a chance, she totally killed it.
"Why not be happy for another artist and say congratulations instead of thinking of some stupid conspiracy theory."
Simon then admitted how he is pleased he never invited her to be the fourth judge on the show.
He said: "The irony is I spoke to Lily about being a judge. And from what I took from the meeting, she was seriously considering it.
"Thank God I said no. She'd be a barrel of laughs."
It appears as though the message has sunk in, after Lily tweeted: "Nothing says christmas quite like a new legal dispute.lawyers man, criminal (sic)"
