Paddy McGuinness failed first driving test

‘Top Gear’ host Paddy McGuinness failed his driving test first time around.
While the 45-year-old TV presenter – who will co-present the upcoming series of the motoring show with Freddie Flintoff – suffered a setback in his first attempt pass his road examination, he managed to pass second time when he had a female tester.
He is quoted by the Daily Star newspaper as saying: "I failed my driving test the first time, the instructor was a wrong ‘un, pencil tache, 60 years old. Fail.
"Second time, it was blazing hot and I was wearing Kevin Keegan short shorts, I had a female examiner and I passed."
The comedian also damaged his first car – a Ford Orion – after driving on black ice, and he crashed his dad’s motor when he was trying to overtake his friend.
Freddie has also damaged a number of cars over the years.
The 41-year-old star was rear-ended in a collision before he even owned a vehicle.
Speaking about the incident: "I got a grand for whiplash and taped the boot up."
Freddie later bought a Range Rover, which ran up big repair bills.
He said: "I drove over a pothole and two tyres went down. When I drove through a big puddle, the under tray fell off."
After getting the car back from a repair garage, he drove it through the same puddle and the underside collapsed again.
The former sportsman has also been involved in accidents on ‘A League of Their Own’.
In 2017, former series regular Jack Whitehall was treated by paramedics after a banger race saw Freddie shunt his car into a wall.
