Paddy McGuinness’ Celebrity Take Me Out gets a shape up

Paddy McGuinness is "reversing" the upcoming ‘Celebrity Take Me Out’ series.
The 44-year-old television presenter has revealed the celebrity version of his popular dating show, which sees people who are matched with a lover jet off to the romantic Island of Fernando, will receive a shake up as the male celebrities will be behind the podiums, and the female star will be able to turn off the light on the singletons she does not fancy.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz at the Pride of Britain Awards, which took place at London’s Grosvenor House on Monday (30.10.17), about the forthcoming show, the dark-haired hunk said: "We are doing a celebrity version but we are doing for the first time ever we’re reversing it so it’s going to be 30 guys behind the podiums and celebrity girls, we’ve just booked somebody and I can’t wait."
The ITV programme has proved to be a success as, out of all the couples who have found love on the show, there have been four babies and six weddings.
Paddy – who has four-year-old twins Leo and Penelope with his wife Christine Martin – said: "There’s been four babies now, I think we’re on 6 weddings and like 4 babies and I’m going to see a couple of them in a few weeks. I’ve never seen the kids yet, it’s mad to think that a child is here through the parents meeting on a show, which is bonkers."
And as long as competitors are still interested in the programme and are keen to spark a relationship, he will continue working on the show.
Speaking about the future of the show, he said: "As long as people want to find love I’ll be there, they’ll be wheeling me out! I’ve not had any botox yet but no doubt I will be doing it in about three years."
