No Strictly nerves for Anastacia

Anastacia isn’t nervous about ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 47-year-old singer has beaten cancer twice, undergoing a double mastectomy in 2013, and said that her cancer battle has left her fearless.
She told the Daily Mirror: "I don’t know that I was ready for it prior to the mastectomy. I was insecure to do the show and fail and not be as good as I want to be.
"I think that once you go through a life altering situation, where part of your natural female situation has changed, it sort of brings you down to earth. You go, ‘I’ve removed a body part. What more is there to be nervous and scared about?’"
Anastacia is determined to do well in the competition because she is donating her fee to a breast cancer charity.
She explained: "You just have to put all yourself into it and be the best you can be.
"If that’s out the second show, or out the fourth show, then that’s as good as I can give. But I’d like to get to the end – I wouldn’t do it if I didn’t want to get to the end.
"I’m going to go for it because I’m donating everything to breast cancer, so I have an end goal which is – they get more money.
"That’s the deal. If I get kicked out, they don’t pay much, so they’re not going to get much."
Although she is not nervous about performing, Anastacia admitted she is worried about revealing her mastectomy scars in her ‘Strictly’ outfits.
She explained: "I have big scars on my back that I don’t know if I am going to have the guts to reveal on the show.
"We’ll see where my power comes from and what happens. The costume people are very sweet. I am very insecure about them, but I have talked to them about it.
"I am not saying no to the backless situation, but it’s very scary."
