Nikki Bella needs "time" before getting back with John Cena.
The ‘Total Divas’ star split from the wrestler earlier this year but whilst she hasn’t ruled out a reunion in the future, she says they won’t be rushing back together.
She told Entertainment Tonight: "Time. It’s going to take time. So, honestly, only time can tell. John and I, we absolutely love each other and we care about each other a lot.
"We are best friends and, right now, we’re both giving each other time separately and maybe there’s hope that we reunite in the future."
The 34-year-old professional wrestler previously insisted her former fiancé is her "Mr. Right".
She shared: "Only time can tell. I definitely do [think we will get married]. I think he’s Mr. Right. He’s Prince Charming. He’s an amazing man. I hope that our paths do come back together and I think they will … Before I do say those vows and walk down that aisle, I just don’t want to be hesitant. I don’t want to be regretful. I think when you sacrifice for so long, it’s like, you can give so much and then you kind of get tired of giving. And then someone wants to give it back and you just already feel exhausted. I definitely have hope for the future, I really do."
John shocked Nikki earlier this week when he said he still wanted a future with her.
He said: "I still love Nicole, I still would love to marry Nicole, I still would love to have a family with Nicole. There was an unfortunate set of circumstances where our relationship ended. There’s been a lot of speculation recently about me being seen in public, and everyone’s been like, ‘Oh John Cena’s enjoying the single life.’ No, I was supposed to be married and have a honeymoon over these two weeks. I am in my house alone surrounded by these emotionally strong memories. And everyday from 6 to 9 I get out of the house and talk to strangers as social interaction. I don’t want anybody else."
