Nick Moran’s not allowed to do Celebrity MasterChef again

Nick Moran’s wife has banned him from doing ‘Celebrity MasterChef’ again.
The 47-year-old actor has just finished filming the forthcoming series of the BBC cooking competition, which is set to air over the next few months, but has admitted he’d never do it again, much to his spouse Sienna Guillory’s relief, because it was too stressful and he didn’t enjoy it half as much as he initially thought he would.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, he said: "It’s very stressful and not as much fun as it seems. I wouldn’t do it again and I don’t think my wife would let me."
The ‘Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels’ star only agreed to take part in the new series of the show because he was approached by bosses every single year, but had to turn down the offer because he was always busy working on films.
Nick also revealed he took on a pseudonym and worked in a restaurant in Soho to prepare for the competition.
He said: "I got a job in HIX in Soho under a pseudonym and was getting involved. I wasn’t just watching, I was actually cooking. Dishes that were going up were ones I had done. I approached it as I was doing it as a film.
"It’s a competition. I don’t think you learn on the show. You show what you already know. You never see someone on there who doesn’t know what they are doing."
The Olympic gold medallist Rebecca Adlington and Debbie McGee, the widow of Paul Daniels, will join former S Club 7 star Rachel Stevens, TV presenter Ulrika Jonasson, Union J’s Jaymi Hensley and TV presenter Angellica Bell on the cookery competition when it returns to screens later this summer.
Meanwhile, Nick will direct the Irvine Welsh & Dean Cavanagh play ‘Performers’ at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe, Assembly Ballroom 3rd – 27th August 4.45pm Daily.
