Nick Grimshaw wants Joan Rivers to come back from the dead

Nick Grimshaw and Rochelle Humes want Joan Rivers to come back from the dead to appear on ‘Sweat The Small Stuff’.

The comedy panel show host and team captain Rochelle Humes of The Saturdays confessed they would’ve loved to have had the late comedienne – who passed away from surgical complications while undergoing a minor operation on her vocal cords last month – make a guest appearance.

Rochelle – who met Joan along with her bandmates when they appeared on her Fashion Police television show in the US – added that she will "always remember" the "brilliant" star.

When asked if she would bring anyone back from the dead to go on the BBC Three show, Rochelle told BANG Showbiz: "Joan Rivers. Me and the girls went on Fashion Police and she was so good with us, she was brilliant. But she said to me, ‘Are you fat or pregnant?’ And I was like, ‘Pregnant’. And she was like, ‘Good! F**k!’

"I’ll always remember that she was brilliant. She had us all on there and had us talking about periods!"

Nick, 30, was quick to agree with the raven-haired beauty and described Joan as the "ideal guest" for the show – which also features radio DJ Melvin O’Doom as a team captain.

He said: "Oh yeah, she’d be wonderful. That’s the ideal guest, Joan Rivers; someone who just does not give a f**k."

Sweat The Small Stuff airs on Wednesday nights at 10pm on BBC Three.
