Niall Horan was rumoured to be releasing a duet with Shawn Mendes on September 28.
However, the very next day (September 29) the Irish One Direction hunk dropped his debut solo single ‘This Town’ and announced his solo deal with Capitol Records.
While the ‘Treat You Better’ hitmaker is yet to team up with his close pal, they are 100 percent planning to hit the studio when their schedules align.
Asked if the collaboration is happening, Shawn said: ‘Yes, definitely, it will. Eventually when we get time.’
