Nav Sidhu not returning to Hollyoaks

Nav Sidhu won’t be returning to ‘Hollyoaks’.
The actor only began appearing in the Channel 4 soap as Azim Desai in September last year, but it seems his time in Chester is already over, as it has now been confirmed Azim has moved out of the village for a new job in London.
The fun-loving events planner was recently seen leaving Chester for his new job in the capital, leaving fans to wonder whether he’d be returning, and a ‘Hollyoaks’ source has now confirmed to Digital Spy that they were in fact the character’s exit scenes.
Digital Spy claims Azim won’t be heading back to the Hollyoaks village for the foreseeable future, with his love triangle story alongside Mitchell Deveraux (Imran Adams) and Scott Drinkwell (Ross Adams) now over.
Azim was introduced to ‘Hollyoaks’ as the half-brother of established character Sami Maalik (Rishi Nair), and initially helped to plan Sami’s engagement party after his brother popped the question to Sinead Shelby (Stephanie Davis).
The events planner also befriended the Maaliks’ neighbour Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson), who was trying to extricate himself from Stuart Sumner’s far-right extremist group.
Once Ste had turned away from the group, he slept with Azim but later left the village, leaving Azim to eventually enjoy a short lived romance with Scott.
The couple were initially planning to move to London together when Azim landed his new job, but Scott ended their relationship when he realised that he still loved Mitchell.
