Natasha Kaplinsky doesn’t want Strictly judging job

Natasha Kaplinsky would never be a judge on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 43-year-old newsreader won the first ever series of the celebrity ballroom dance contest with her professional partner Brendan Cole in 2004 and admits it was the "most stressful" thing she’s ever experienced as she was full of "nerves".
Speaking on the red carpet at The Fragrance Foundation Awards in London on Thursday night (12.05.16), she told BANG Showbiz: "It was the most stressful thing I have ever done, I have never been more nervous in my whole entire life than dancing on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’. But I look back on it now and I just wish I’d enjoyed it a bit more. I was just totally racked with nerves. ‘Strictly’ is the only thing in the whole world that has made me nervous, everything else is fine but ‘Strictly’ just sent me. When you are dancing in front of 12 million people there’s nothing like it."
The brunette beauty – who has eight-year-old son Arlo and daughter Angelica, six, with her husband Justin Bower – doesn’t want to give being a judge on the BBC One show a go as she now prefers to just sit back and enjoy the programme with her family.
Asked if she’d like to join the panel – which includes Len Goodman, Craig Revel Horwood, Bruno Tonioli and Darcey Bussell – she said: "I don’t think so. I think I can just enjoy it now. I’ve got a little daughter now and my son and they love watching it, and that’s actually my pleasure now, seeing the next generation enjoy it. It’s a fantastic show."
