Myles Stephenson ‘terrified’ of spiders after false widow bite

Myles Stephenson is terrified of spiders after being bitten by a false widow.
The former ‘X Factor’ champion – who won the TV talent show with R&B group Rak-Su in 2017 – has admitted he’s starting to feel the nerves at the prospect of coming face-to-face with Australia’s infamous arachnids.
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I am most scared of spiders, by a long shot. My mum can literally pick them up by her hand. She is fine with them.
"I have always been scared of them and it got worse.
"You know those false widows we have back in the UK, I got bitten by one of them a few years ago and it made my arm pretty swollen [so] since then it has got worse."
Despite the eight-legged bedroom attacker, Myles is hoping he will be able to overcome his fears and ensure he sees each Bushtucker Trial through to its conclusion.
He added: "I like to think I won’t [quit] because I don’t like letting the rest of the camp and the family in there down. I wouldn’t want to go back to camp empty handed."
The 28-year-old singer won’t hold back with his fellow stars, and he plans to ask Caitlyn Jenner if O.J. Simpson really killed Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman.
The former NFL star was acquitted in the 1995 murder trial, but Myles told The Sun newspaper: "The first thing I’m going to ask Caitlyn is, ‘Did OJ do it? Does the glove really fit?"
Myles also hopes he can strike up a friendship with Caitlyn and use that to try to date one of her famous daughters, Kylie and Kendall Jenner.
He added: "They’re beautiful people, but personally Kendall is naturally stunning. She’s phenomenal."
