Wretch 32's videos are inspired by the John Lewis' Christmas adverts.
The 'Don't Go' rapper revealed always thinks about the department store's annual festive commercial because of their ability to capture human emotion.
However, he was disappointed by year's effort because he didn't feel a connection to the penguins, Monty and Mabel, that feature in the ad - which is soundtracked by Tom Odell's cover of John Lennon's 'Real Love'.
He told BANG Showbiz: "I think they make the best adverts ever for Christmas, ever, but the penguin thing didn't touch me like the human thing does. Because everything else was so real, like a dad wrapping up presents when he can't wrap them up, there's something so genius in that, capturing that moment. You know what's funny, every time I go to do a video, I use that video as a reference, those adverts are incredible, so real."
The 29-year-old musician intends to celebrate this Christmas Day (25.12.14) with his children, eight-year-old Kyrayn Scott and three-year-old Skye-Laurell Scott, and will be spoiling them with plenty of gifts.
Although he's happy to receive some presents, his favourite part of the holiday is the traditional turkey dinner.
He said: "What I'm looking forward to is the turkey, and seeing the kids happy. I've had to get a lot of stuff."

Teenage Time Killer will release their debut album in 2015, featuring Dave Grohl and Corey Taylor.
The supergroup - which is spearheaded by Corrosion of Conformity member Reed Mullin - has signed an album deal with Rise Records, with the LP set to feature the frontmen of Foo Fighters and Slipknot among other notable musicians.
Talking about the supergroup, Reed previously said it was only intended to be a small project, but grew as more people decided they wanted to be involved.
He said: "We had all these other folks that want to participate. It's a very good mixture of old hardcore punk, punk and metal stuff ... People are going to be pleasantly surprised. It's pretty cool."
Other individuals who have recorded for the album include former Queens of the Stone Age bassist Nick Oliveri, ex-Dead Kennedys frontman Jello Biafra, Lamb of God lead-vocalist Randy Blythe and former frontman of Black Flag and the Circle Jerks, Keith Morris.
The band - which formed in February - recorded the LP at Dave's 606 Studio in California and previously hinted the album would be released in January, but were not signed to a label when the comments were made.
Speaking in November, Reed said: "I've got that Teenage Time Killers thing coming out in January.
"This Teenage Time Killers thing has turned out really good."
Fear's Lee Ving, Prong's Tommy Victor and current and former members of Misfits, Red Fang, Sunn O))), Bl'ast, Brujeria, My Ruin and Sacred Reich, among others have also been linked to the project.

Marilyn Manson wants AIDS for Christmas.
The 45-year-old rocker - whose real name is Brian Hugh Warner - has controversially joked he has requested to be given the final stage of the HIV infection several times as a festive treat, and is disappointed not to have contracted it.
He said: "People who don't give me gifts on Christmas, that doesn't bother me. But I hate giving gifts, and I've always asked for AIDS for Christmas and I've never got it, sadly."

Nowadays, the peculiar star attempts to tarnish the festive season by hanging up a Nazi bauble in his home.
He said: "I have burned a Christmas tree before, I've painted one black, and I do have a Third Reich Christmas ball that someone gave to me as a gift, that seems very opposite of Christmas."
The peculiar singer - whose highest charting hit was a 2001 cover of 'Tainted Love' - added he would not hesitate to murder Father Christmas if the jolly elf came to his home.
Speaking to NME.com, he added: "If Santa Claus came down my chimney I'd shoot him as a burglar."

Lady Gaga's next album will be like "operating on my old self".
The adventurous musician released her fourth solo studio album, 'Artpop', at the tail end of 2013, and is now hoping to reinvent herself on her next record.
She explained: "'Artpop' was, you know, the acid-making record. And this record is like--my old self as a cadaver. And I'm just, I'm operating on my old self."
The 'Do What U Want' hitmaker - who also collaborated with jazz icon Tony Bennett on an LP, 'Cheek to Cheek', in which they covered classics from the 'Great American Songbook' earlier this year - noted she wants to change her musical direction and reinvent herself on her next album in order to shock her fans.
She said: "I want the fans to be surprised.
"But I will just tell you that it's a wonderful, soul-searching experience. And it's very unlike the last album in that way. I made that album on the road."
Despite being panned by critics and only spawning two hit singles, the 28-year-old performer defended 'Artpop' by describing how it has been used as a form of escapism by her young fans.
She told Yahoo!: "As I travelled around the world I met more and more kids that were fully f***ing 'Artpop' to the wildest galaxies of their dreams. Kids whose whole lives were changed by the album. You know, planet 'Venus' is a place that they go in their minds when they are at home, to escape their family life, their troubles, their depression."

Kasabian demand a nail-grooming kit at their live shows.
The outspoken man-band - featuring Tom Meighan, Serge Pizzorno, Ian Matthews and Chris Edwards - are known for their macho rock sound, but their list of requests backstage are far more feminine, having demanded nail-care equipment at a recent show in Manchester.
A source revealed: "The band asked for a pair of nail clippers, four nail brushes, nail scissors and files."
Along with the equipment to ensure their nails were neat and tidy, the 'Eez-eh' rockers wanted a selection of combs so their flowing locks were free from knots.
The source told The Sun newspaper: "They also asked for a set of combs - which all had to be black."
As well as the beauty products, the group - who released their fifth studio album '48:13' in June - wanted a box of PG Tips tea bags and salt and vinegar flavoured crisps waiting for them in their dressing room to quench their hunger before heading on stage.
Having already been announced as a headliner for Poland's Open'er Festival in June 2015, the 'Fire' hitmakers recently revealed they have their sights set on performing at London's legendary Wembley Stadium as well as Murrayfield Stadium in Scotland, in the near future.

Sir Paul McCartney has paid tribute to Joe Cocker.
The Beatles star - whose hit 'With A Little Help From My Friends' Joe famously covered - sent a heartfelt message to the Sheffield-born singer who passed away, aged 70, yesterday (22.12.14) at his home in Colorado after battling lung cancer.
He said in a statement to the Mirror newspaper: "It's really sad to hear about Joe's passing. He was a lovely northern lad who I loved a lot and like many people I loved his singing.
"I was especially pleased when he decided to cover With A Little Help From My Friends.... it was just mind blowing.
"He totally turned the song into a soul anthem and I was forever grateful for him for doing that.
"I knew him through the years as a good mate and I was so sad to hear that he had been ill and really sad to hear today that he had passed away. He was a great guy, a lovely guy who brought so much to the world and we'll all miss him."
The 72-year-old singer's former bandmate Ringo Starr also paid tribute to the 'You Are So Beautiful' hitmaker.
He wrote on Twitter to his 581,000 followers: "Goodbye and God bless to Joe Cocker from one of his friends peace and love. R."
Joe enjoyed a career spanning four decades and was one of only a few artists to play at the original Woodstock festival in 1969 and the one in 1994.
He began his career as a pub singer before he was propelled to stardom when his version of 'With A Little Help from My Friends' reached number one in the UK in 1968.
He received several prestigious awards during his career, including a Grammy in 1983 and an Oscar for Best Original Song for his duet with Jennifer Warnes, 'Up Where We Belong'.
The singer also received an OBE at Buckingham Palace for his services to music in 2007.
Billy Joel stated that Cocker "was not very well right now" while performing at Madison Square Garden last September, and asked that he be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Matt Willis hates animals.
The McBusted member dislikes all creatures due to unpleasant experiences as a youngster, and especially has no desire for a feline companion or a pet pooch because he can't stand it when animals moult fur.
He said: Cats are f**king shit. My mum had this dog when I was growing up called Max and it just got f**king fur all over my school blazer. It was the most annoying f**king thing in the world. I've been an animal hater ever since then."
The 'Air Guitar' hitmaker - who has five-year-old daughter Isabelle and three-year-old son Ace with his wife, television presenter Emma Willis - admitted he doesn't even enjoy watching clips online of critters doing silly things, much to the outrage of bandmate Tom Fletcher.
He continued: "Tom sometimes shows me videos of cats and he's like 'dude, you're dead inside'. I just don't give a s**t."
Despite confessing his hatred for animals, the 31-year-old singer revealed the one pet he would allow is a miniature swine, which he is desperate to welcome into his family.
Speaking to Popjustice.com, he added: "Although me and Emma talked about getting one of those micro pigs.
"I definitely need one of those in my life."

Olly Murs' nan banned him from performing his track 'I Don't Love You Too'.
The 'Wrapped Up' hitmaker revealed his grandma, Eileen, was not impressed with a track which the star wrote about her and her husband's arguments, requesting for her grandson stopped singing the song at his shows.
He said: "I wrote a song on my second album and it's called 'I Don't Love You Too'. It's about two people having an argument - it was about my nan and grandad.
"She'd be the first to admit that they do argue. She says: 'I hate you Stan,' and then she says 'I don't mean it.'"
Despite confessing she does row with Olly's grandad, the 30-year-old singer confessed "she didn't like it".
He explained: "I didn't sing it on tour because I didn't want her to be upset watching it. I decided to cut that from the set."
The star - who released his fourth studio album 'Never Been Better' last month - said his grandmother would probably still be getting angry if she comes to see him in concert though, because she gets jealous of other women showing affection towards him.
He told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: "I get a lot of nans who like me.
"My nan gets very jealous if she sees anyone come up and kiss me. She says, 'He's my grandson, not yours'."

Ansel Elgort is releasing an album.
The 20-year-old actor - who is known for appearing as Augustus Waters in 'The Fault in Our Stars' - is hoping to release his debut electronic music album in February 2015 under the moniker Ansølo.
He said: "I have a record coming out hopefully next month or in February that has crossover potential. It has radio appeal,"
The 'Divurgent' star has shown his musical side before by releasing remixes of Lana Del Rey and Felix Cartal, and has now teased details of his upcoming LP, which he has yet to settle on a name for.
He continued: "It's called 'Shadow', or 'I Will Be A Shadow'. I'm not sure yet. It has a vocal on it. No, it's not my vocal -- it's my production. I wanted to make sure that people knew that I was the producer and not the vocalist."
However, the Hollywood heartthrob assured fans his hope of becoming a successful musician doesn't mean he will be giving up acting, because he has so much spare time to spend making tracks.
He explained to MTV News: "I'm probably doing 4 or 5 movies, but I can do it both at the same time," he said. "The thing is you have so much downtime and like what do you do with that downtime? Do you make an ass out of yourself and party and do stupid things? Or do you stay artistic and do something you love? So that's what music is for me."
