Steven Tyler will release his debut country single next month.
The iconic Aerosmith frontman - who has been living in Nashville since the beginning of the year - has spent his time collaborating with some legendary songwriters and is now ready for people to hear his change in genre.
Talking about the background to 'Love Is Your Name' - which will act as the first single from his forthcoming album, due in the autumn - he said: "I picked up and headed for Tennessee, and the FIRST DAY in the studio, I recorded a song that became my first single, and if 'Love Is Your Name,' then Nashville's my new girlfriend. I guess you could call that Beginner's Luck."
The 'I Don't Want I Don't Want to Miss a Thing' hitmaker headed to Blackbird studios - where the likes of Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and The Killers have recorded before - to work with producer Dann Huff on his highly-anticipated debut solo album.
Tyler's new single will receive its first radio play in the UK on 14 May on The Chris Evans Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2, before being released on 29 June.

Jennifer Lopez, Ellie Goulding and Christina Aguilera will feature on 'Finding Neverland The Album'.
The stars have each reimagined tracks from Harvey Weinstein's musical adaptation of 'Finding Neverland', to celebrate the launch of the show which opened on Broadway last month.
Other huge names to have recorded for the album include 'Jealous' hitmaker Nick Jonas, 'The Voice UK' coach Rita Ora, singer-songwriter John Legend and BRIT Award winner Paloma Faith.

Muse's Matt Bellamy claims the band's new album is their best yet.
The 36-year-old musician insisted he is confident about the strength of 'Drones' while admitting their last record, 2012's 'The 2nd Law', wasn't up to scratch.
He said: "I can say this - this album is our best album. I haven't been able to say that for a while."
The 'Supermassive Black Hole' hitmaker went on to say people who have never listened to their music before should bypass their six-album back catalogue and begin with their latest collection, which will be released next month.
He continued: "This album is our best album - so feel free to start on this one."
And the rocker - who last year split from fiance Kate Hudson, with whom he has three-year-old son Bing - insisted fans can expect some impressive performances from them later in the year when they begin performing their new tracks in arenas around the world.
Speaking to iHeartRadio about their upcoming shows, he added: "We're actually starting out doing festivals which are going to be a bit more basic because we can't control the arena, but when we get into the arenas we're going to be taking it a step further.
"Obviously with an album called Drones, it's perfect ... if the album will let us borrow a couple."

Sam Smith's mum is flying to the US for his vocal surgery.
The 22-year-old singer is set to have an operation on his vocal cords this week, and his mum has jetted over to the US to support him during his recovery.
Posting on Instagram, he wrote: "Wagamama night. Pre-op tomorrow then op the next day. My mum is flying over tonight, so excited to see her x hope you're all good x (sic)."
The chart-topping star revealed he had suffered a haemorrhage on his vocal cords last month, and had been forced to cancel several Australian tour dates and banned from speaking as a result.
He wrote on Instagram: "Just to let all my beautiful fans know, I'm ok. I am insanely relaxed and am somewhere in the middle of Australia with no phone, no laptop and I haven't spoken a word in three days. Trying my absolute best to be back on my feet and singing for next week."
However, the 'Lay Me Down' hitmaker was later informed he needed surgery in the US to repair the damage, meaning he has had to pull out of his planned performances for the next two months.
And while the four-time Grammy winner knows the operation is vital for him to continue singing, he confessed it is going to be tough being away from his fans for such a long period of time while his voice recovers.
He wrote: "I miss you all so f***ing much. This next 7 weeks is going KILL ME. (sic)"

Take That play bingo between their shows.
The three-piece group - featuring Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen - are currently on tour around the UK, and revealed they have been keeping their 20 dancers, eight-piece band and numerous crew members entertained backstage by organising "little events" including quizzes and games of bingo.
Gary explained: "On days off we organise little events.
"We've got a big cast with us. We'll do a quiz night one night, just nice communal events to get everyone together. We did bingo and it went down a storm."
The 44-year-old frontman - who worked as a bingo caller before finding fame with the group - continued to say they aren't the party animals they once were, and instead prefer to take exciting trips while on the road, as they did on their day off in Scotland.
He explained: "We were in Scotland the other day staying on Loch Lomond. The hotel let us go up in their little seaplane. Scotland is the most beautiful place."
And 47-year-old Howard admitted they are taking much better care of themselves nowadays and abide by strict diets while touring.
He told Free Radio: "We have our own chef who makes us our own food. Which is kind of gluten free, very energising stuff, very healthy - nothing fattening that's gonna make you weighed down."

Kanye West thinks Lewis Hamilton's music is "really good".
The Formula One driver has been teasing the launch of his music career for several months, and now 37-year-old rapper Kanye has confessed he's a huge fan of the tracks he has been working on.
Speaking at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Kanye said: "It's so weird, so Lewis Hamilton's over at my house, right? And he starts playing music.
"We're having an Easter brunch and all of the family's there, my wife's family, my friends, everything. And he's playing music, and everybody's like: 'What is this music?!' and I'm like 'It's Lewis Hamilton's music.' They're like: 'Oh my god, I thought it was gonna sound like...' and I'm not gonna say the names of who they thought it was gonna sound like, but it's good. It's really, really good."
Although the 30-year-old Mercedes driver has not yet unveiled any of his songs to the public, he recently admitted he has been playing them to other influential artists to gain advice.
He said: "I have played it for Pharrell Williams as well as Timbaland and Drake because I want feedback from as many people as possible."
However, the current Formula One World Champion previously confessed he only got into making music because he created a home studio for his then-girlfriend, 'Poison' hitmaker Nicole Scherzinger, from whom he split in February after seven years of dating.
He said: "I actually built the studio in my house for someone else and ended up using it.
"I built it so we could be in the same place all the time ... but now I use it all the time instead."

Oasis are planning a reunion without Noel Gallagher.
The band - which originally formed in Manchester in 1991 - split in 2009 after brothers Liam, 42, and Noel, 47, had an explosive argument backstage at a show in Paris, and the original line-up featuring Liam, guitarist Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs, bassist Paul 'Guigsy' McGuigan and drummer Tony McCarroll are now planning on getting back together.
A source said: "It's very early days but the wheels are in motion. Liam, Guigsy, Bonehead and Tony are all interested and keen to see how it can work."
The news follows numerous denials from Noel - who recently released his second album as Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, 'Chasing Yesterday' - about any plans for a comeback for the 'Wonderwall' hitmakers.
Despite Noel being the band's key songwriter, the remaining members believe it is the "closest they are going to get" to a reunion, even though some fans may not be impressed by the decision.
The source told The Sun newspaper: "They don't seem to mind Noel not being on board, even though some fans won't regard it as a proper Oasis reunion.
"But as Noel wants no part in the band, it's the closest they are going to get to a full-scale comeback."
The feuding brothers had sparked speculation a full reunion could happen earlier this year as Liam attended one of his brother's shows, although their relationship turned sour once again last week when Noel accused Liam of leaking false information about the band getting back together.
In response, an angry Liam wrote on Twitter: "Re oasis rumours you know I don't bum the press never had never will you know where I am if you need me LG x. (sic)"

Lawson's second LP was delayed as Andy Brown reveals he suffered live failure.
The 'Taking Over Me' hitmakers had just finished writing their follow up album to 2013's platinum-selling 'Chapman Square' and were due to fly to Nashville to record it. Two weeks later he was hospitalised and diagnosed and faced with needing a transplant.
Andy, 28, revealed to The Independent newspaper: "The head of my record label then called me up, all concerned, like ... That's when I knew things were serious."
Meanwhile, his family and bandmates - Ryan Fletcher, 25, Joel Peat, 24, and Adam Pitts, 24 - were left not knowing if he would pull through.
While doctors still don't know the reason for his liver failing, as it happened after a night boozing, it's suspected his drink could have been spiked.
He said: "And that's happened to me before ... Couple of years ago, in London."
When asked how it happened, he explained: "Don't know how it happened, really, or why. I guess I might be a target, if anyone recognises me. I've looked into this, and it happens a lot, spiking drinks. More than you'd think."
Before now he hadn't gone public about his serious illness and the band carried on, despite doctors advice to cancel tour dates.
Andy said: "We'd already sold 5,000 tickets."
By late 2014 the band were able to record their delayed LP and Andy was crossed off the transplant list as he recovered on steroids.
Lawson's single 'Roads' is set for release on 24 May with the album due for a summer release.
