Tom Parker empathises with Zayn Malik wanting a normal life

Tom Parker has likened The Wanted's split to Zayn Malik leaving One Direction.
The 27-year-old singer can empathise with Zayn wanting to lead a "normal life" as the 'Glad You Came' hitmaker experienced a taste of the "intense" lifestyle the 1D lads led.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, he said: "I was watching an interview with Zayn Malik, he hit the nail on the head. He felt like he didn't have creative input into it, which from my side I feel like we were on the same page, even though we had different tastes. But, I do feel like we were in control. But, I do get what he said about the schedule being so intense. I think for him it was nice to step away from everything and it was the same for us. It has been nice to step away and find my own feet."
And while Tom - who has launched a solo career as a DJ and producer - is enjoying time away from being in the band, he said he'd happily get back together with his former bandmates, Nathan Sykes, Max George, Siva Kaneswaran and Jay McGuiness.
Asked if he'd reunite with The Wanted - who have been on an extended break since 2014 - he said: "100 per cent from my side. I wouldn't even think twice about it. I loved it, I loved being in a band. I love all of the boys."

Zayn Malik wants to work with Chris Brown, Usher and Justin Timberlake

Zayn Malik wants to collaborate with Chris Brown, Justin Timberlake and Usher.
The 'Pillowtalk' hitmaker is a huge fan of the three "massive icons" and would love the chance to get into the studio with them at some point.
Discussing the trio of pop legends, he said: "I'd love to work with all of them at some point. They're all obviously massive icons in their own right and obviously to be on the same label as them is crazy, so if the opportunity arises, I'm not going to turn any of them names down."
Since he left One Direction, Zayn has been able to take full control of his career and so can pursue any artist he wants to work with,
The 23-year-old singer also accepts he can no longer complain about things he's not happy with regarding his music because he has "full responsibility" for his songs.
Speaking to radio station KISS FM, he said: "I'm in control of things now, so I can't really complain. And if I do complain, or if I do have something to say, people will just turn around and say, well, you decided to do it this way, so it's your fault. Which I kind of like, being the person who takes responsibility and having my neck on the line. Because when we do well then I take the reward for it, as well."
Zayn's debut solo LP, 'Mind of Mine', comes out on March 25, and lead single 'Pillowtalk' is already a global smash having reached number one on the iTunes chart in 60 countries.

Rizzles Kicks promise ‘fun’ third album

Rizzle Kicks have almost completed their third album and have promised it will be "fun".
The rap duo, Harley Alexander-Sule and Jordan Stephens, went on hiatus from performing together for 18 months while they pursued projects on their own, but now they are back and raring to go with their follow-up to 2013's 'Roaring 20s' record.
The record is almost ready and they have revealed they have gone back to their roots for the LP, which will be more like their debut 'Stereo Typical'.
Harley, 24, revealed to Loaded magazine: "The new album is great, really fun. We've taken the Rizzles back to how we were when we started. We never lost sight of who we are or what we love to make. But we've gone, 'Oh yeah, that's why we made Rizzle Kicks!' There's some fun, silly songs on the new record."
And while the 'Mama Do The Hump' hitmakers have opted for a feel good album, there will also be some "more heartfelt" songs in the tracklisting too.
Harley said: "But there are some deep songs on there too, songs which are more heartfelt. But overall, really this record is a lot of fun. It feels a good moment for us again. It's time for us to slot back in."

Anne-Marie crowned winner of MTV Brand New 2016

Anne-Marie has been crowned winner of MTV Brand New 2016 presented by Emporio Armani Diamonds.
The singer - who cut her teeth touring with Rudimental as their live vocalist - faced stiff competition from 10 acts, including multi-instrumentalist Jack Garratt, urban group WSTRN and indie rocker Rat Boy, but it has been confirmed today (02.01.16) that Anne-Marie has claimed the title after winning the public vote with the highest number of votes cast in the history of the competition.
The 'Karate' singer admits she was left gobsmacked when she found out.
She said: "I'm speechless! I am so happy to have won MTV Brand New! I've had all of my friends and family voting so sending a huge thank you to everyone who did!"
Anne-Marie supported Craig David at London's Electric Ballroom last week along with runners-up WSTRN and admits it was a "dream come true" to play on the same bill as the garage legend - who is getting ready to release a new album this year.
She said: "It was a dream come true to perform ahead of Craig David last week, he's absolutely amazing and what a show with all of the classics. Thank you so much MTV, this is incredible!"
Meanwhile, 'In2' hitmakers WSTRN have revealed they have worked on a "old-school garage" track with '7 Days' hitmaker Craig.
Speaking at the MTV Brand New concert last week, they said: "We were in the studio a few weeks back and worked on a track together. It's got an old-school garage sound. Craig's a legend and we grew up listening to him."

Kate Nash cancels gig after Los Angeles gun fire terror incident

Kate Nash had to cancel her Los Angeles DJ set after getting caught up in a shooting incident.
The 28-year-old British singer - who is working on her fourth studio LP in California - was due to do a show on Saturday (30.01.16), but was forced to lock herself inside her home as armed gunmen paraded through the neighbourhood.
She shared: "I ran downstairs really quietly and locked my front gate as quick as I could, then ran back up, put my alarm on and stayed indoors.
"There were helicopters and sirens sounding until 5am. It was pretty terrifying. I don't scare easily, but I'm so anti-guns."
The 'Foundations' hitmaker described how frightened she was when she witnessed a neighbour caught up in the incident.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "We weren't sure what to do about the lights and noise because we didn't want to draw attention but also didn't want the house to seem empty. I have quite a big garden and after they held one of my neighbours up they were on the loose, and we didn't want them looking for a hideout."
Kate took to her Twitter account to inform fans she'd have to pull the gig at Girl School, because she was on "lock down" and told not to leave the house.
On the night, she tweeted: "Due to an unexpected emergency in my neighbourhood, authorities have advised me to stay indoors, on lock down here & I can't get out to DJ. I don't really know what to say, this is freaky & sucks & I'm really sorry I can't be at Girl School. Unfortunately it is just not safe for me to leave my house right now (sic)"

Chris Martin reassured by Apple about Coldplay’s Super Bowl show

Chris Martin has been told by his daughter Apple not to worry if Coldplay's Super Bowl 50 performance goes wrong - because it'll only be remembered as an Internet meme.
The band - Chris, Guy Berryman, Jonny Buckland and Will Champion - will provide the half-time entertainment for the NFL championship final between the Carolina Panthers and the Denver Broncos on February 7.
Chris and his bandmates do have a few nerves about playing to such a massive audience at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, and to approximately 115 million viewers watching on TV, but 11-year-old Apple - his child with ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow - has reassured him if the worst happens it'll just become a joke that goes round the web for a week or so.
Speaking to 'CBS Sunday Morning', the singer said: "My daughter said the sweetest thing (to me). She said, 'How are you feeling about the Super Bowl?' I said, 'Of course we're a little bit nervous.' She said, 'Dad, the worst that could happen is that you'll get turned into a meme.'
"The fact we make it onto our kids' playlists still, is good. They're not impressed with anything."
Chris, 38, also let slip the show will be a greatest hits set condensed into 12 minutes, which he joked he thinks they just have enough material to fill, and confirmed that Beyoncé and Bruno Mars are to be their special guests.
He shared: "I love the whole concept of trying to present your entire musical life in 12 and a half minutes. We've possibly got 11 good minutes. So we have some special guests and they'll cover the rest."
Revealing who the guest stars are, he said: "There's a spot on the stage which may be Beyoncé's footprint ... And we could look for a Bruno Mars one."

Kanye West changing album name again?

Kanye West is considering changing the name of his upcoming album again.
The 38-year-old rapper is getting ready to release his eagerly anticipated new record later this month but according to his wife, Kim Kardashian West, he is still unsure about the title.
After Kanye changed the name of the album from 'Swish' to 'Waves', Kim took to Twitter to ask fans for their opinion on the title and added another option.
Tagging Kanye in a post, she wrote: "Which album title do you like best? Swish, Waves or So Help Me God?"
If Kanye does decide to change the name of the record, it won't be the first time as he recently decided to ditch the original title 'Swish' in favour of 'Waves'.
Sharing the news with his 17.6 million followers in a series of tweets, he wrote: "New album title, WAVES ... #Waves the album formally known as Swish ... I got this record n*****s can't even play before 2 am. (sic)"
Whatever the album is called, Kanye has already declared it "the best album of all time".
Taking to the micro blogging site, he wrote: "This is not album of the year. This is album of the life ...
"So happy to be finished with the best album of all time (sic)"
Meanwhile, his sister-in-law Khloe Kardashian previously revealed he was finding it difficult to narrow down the track list as there were so many "genuinely terrific songs".
She said: "He has so many songs that we - I act like I'm recording them - that he can't figure out what he wants to put on his album. And they're all genuinely terrific songs."
"He is so passionate. He's like, every bit the meaning of an artist."
The album is expected to be released on February 11.

Fun Lovin’ Criminals reflect on five-day recording of debut LP

Fun Lovin' Criminals recorded their 1996 debut album 'Come Find Yourself' in less than a week.
The 'Scooby Snacks' hitmakers are set to release a three disk expanded edition and deluxe boxset edition of the classic LP to mark its 20th anniversary and have revealed the tracks came together very quickly.
Bassist Brian Leiser - better known as Fast - revealed: "We did most of the record in five days because we'd been writing it our whole lives."
The most difficult aspect of making the album for the New York trio - which also includes drummer Frank Benbini and frontman Huey Morgan - was getting the samples used in many of the songs cleared, but luckily producer Tim Latham showed them how to re-record the music so they wouldn't have to worry about copyright.
Speaking in a video interview, Brian added: "Obviously the big issue in the recording was re-playing a lot of the samples because we couldn't clear five samples of songs. When we realised what we could and what we couldn't clear in the studio, Tim Latham, who is a master of sound, helped us recreate these sounds and change them so we wouldn't have to clear them. And we ended up clearly most of the record with him."
'Come Find Yourself' will be reissued on February 19.
The band are heading out on a world tour this month kicking off in Leeds on February 4.
