Axl Rose penning new songs

Axl Rose has been working on new Guns N’ Roses music.
The 54-year-old frontman has been busy penning some new tracks for another album but he’s admitted he’s unsure whether his band mates Slash and Duff McKagan will feature on them, despite the fact they liked the songs.
In a rare interview with Sir David Tang at London’s China Exchange, Axl said: "I got a lot of stuff together, and I played some stuff for Slash and Duff and they liked it, and they might be on it."
The ‘Chinese Democracy’ hitmaker also opened up about his notoriously rocky relationship with lead guitarist Slash and his plans to write a tell-all autobiography, but he’s admitted he’s still deliberating spilling the beans in a book.
On what’s holding him back, he said: "Slash and I hadn’t talked in 19 years, and it was a good talk. And, I was like, you wrote a lot of stuff that didn’t even happen. It’s not real.
"It’s tough because I haven’t figured out how to word things in a way that doesn’t just look like I’m being negative to everybody else and calling them a liar."
Meanwhile, Axl has also been in talks with AC/DC’s guitarist Angus Young about the possibility of recording new tracks with the ‘Highway to Hell’ hitmakers, who he’s currently on tour with after he stepped in for singer Brian Johnson.
He said of the collaboration: "Angus [Young] and I talked about working together. So we’ll see."
