Pharrell Williams has joined the Oscar jury to help decide the recipients for next year's awards.
The 'Happy' hitmaker has both been named by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences as the newest members of the panel.
'X-Men: Days of Future Past' star Michael Fassbender and Lupita Nyong'o are also among the actors invited to join the academy.
Its president, Cheryl Boone Isaacs, said: "This year's class of invitees represents some of the most talented, creative and passionate filmmakers working in our industry today.
"Their contributions to film have entertained audiences around the world, and we are proud to welcome them to the Academy."
Williams was nominated at this year's ceremony, although his track 'Happy' - written for 'Despicable Me 2' - lost to 'Let It Go' from 'Frozen', which won the Best Original Song prize.
Meanwhile, Nyong'o took home the gong for Best Supporting Actress thanks to her performance as Patsey in '12 Years a Slave'.
Fassbender's own role in the movie - as Edwin Epps - saw him nominated in the Best Supporting Actor, losing out to 'Dallas Buyers Club' star Jared Leto.
Mark Ruffalo thinks a solo movie for The Hulk' would be tough to make but "really interesting'.
The actor - who played the famous green superhero in 'The Avengers' - accepts his character doesn't like fighting crime, but it's his inner-conflict as alter ego Dr. Bruce Banner which could make a standalone film work.
He told Collider.com: "It could get very boring to watch the guy who's moping around who doesn't want to do the very thing that we're all dying to see him do.
"And so I think that's the tough part of cracking that nut. I think that's what's made it problematical in the past. But I do feel like we've gained some ground on this new version of him, which has - he's sort of turning to face himself, and I think the relationship between Banner and The Hulk as a conscious conflict, it could be really interesting.
"The one thing that I think The Hulk is terrified of is Banner, and that's never really been mined."
The star added he loved working with motion capture technology, and wants to be a "pioneer" in that area along with 'The Hobbit' and 'Lord of the Rings' actor Andy Serkis, who is seen as a forerunner.
He said: "It's so exciting. There's no limit to where we can go. I hope to be a pioneer in this space with Andy Serkis. I worked a lot with him on this.
"I'm very excited by what he's doing ... This is performance. It's completely driven by the actor and it has to be honoured as much as anything else, so that's kind of where we're heading with this technology and it's very exciting."

Nyong'o's social worker character will care for the sportsman's daughter and her profession will eventually lead her to become involved in the life of the fallen boxer.
Fuqua recently spoke about his passion for the movie, and how delighted it was when it changed studios and he was able to sign on to direct.
He said: "'Southpaw' was with DreamWorks, that's when I got the job.
"I have a great passion for that project, and I met with [Steven] Spielberg about it, and I loved it. The timing of that didn't work up. And I spoke with Harvey Weinstein, and he loved it from the beginning. So I said, let's do it. So he went over and talked to them, and Harvey has it now."

Keira Knightley wishes she could've sung like Adele in 'Begin Again'.
The 29-year-old actress stars as aspiring singer Greta in the upcoming comedy-drama and although she admits she was surprised by how good her voice sounded, she was hoping it would be comparable to that of the 'Rolling in the Deep' hitmaker.
Quizzed on whether she was aware of her talent before making the film, she said: "I had actually done it on one other movie but in a very different style, but no, I've never sung like this. I was actually quite disappointed that I didn't sound like Adele.
"You know when you're in the shower and you're just singing and you think, 'Wow, I sound really good right now. I sound so good I could totally do that Adele thing'. And then you get into a recording studio, as I did, and you think, 'Oh, no, I can't do the Adele thing'."
The 'Anna Karenina' star also revealed that during her audition for the film - which tells the story of how a chance encounter between a disgraced music executive (Mark Ruffalo) and a young singer-songwriter (Knightley) turns into a promising collaboration - she wasn't actually asked to sing.
Speaking on 'The Daily Show with Jon Stewart' she said: "I wasn't given the songs until two days before I had got into the studio and I'm not a singer and I don't know how to do this, so we kind of just got in there and just sort of went, 'Ok we have four days, this has to work'."
