Megan Fox misses premiere

Megan Fox was forced to miss the Beijing premiere of 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' after being stricken by an allergic reaction.
The 28-year-old beauty - who plays April O'Neil in the new movie - had joined co-star William Fichtner, producers Brad Fuller and Andrew Form and Paramount vice chairman Rob Moore at a press conference early on Sunday (26.10.14) but was absent from the premiere later that day, prompting speculation she had suffered a reaction to the heavy pollution in China.
However, her spokesperson told The Hollywood Reporter: "She had an allergic reaction but not because of the pollution."
On Sunday, the air quality in the city was more than 20 times higher than the recommendation for 24-hour exposure by the World Health Organisation.
Megan recently admitted she hopes appearing in the movie will impress Noah, two, and Bodhi, seven months - her kids with husband Brian Austin Green - when they grow up.
She explained: "I wanted to do this movie because I was a fan as a kid, obviously, but also I wanted to do it because I think I anticipate that my sons will be like, 'My mom is April O'Neil!'
"I'm sure that won't happen, because no matter what I do for work, I'm still always just their mom and I'm never gonna be cool.
"But I hope that like, maybe when they're 25, they'll look back and be like, 'That was pretty rad,' because you know, if my dad had been in 'Point Break,' I would be like, 'That's amazing!'"

Jessica Chastain ‘doesn’t work for money’

Jessica Chastain never takes on a role for the paycheck.
The 'Interstellar' actress said she's not interested in how much money she's offered to play a part, insisting she won't accept a role unless it's right for her.
She told The Independent newspaper: "I've been very lucky when I choose a film, I don't think of the paycheck first. I think, when we end the film, how are we going to be more enriched as human beings?
"For me I've never taken a role and thought I'll get something out of this. If you think, 'I'll get recognition', often the opposite happens."
The 37-year-old star shot to fame after playing an agent hunting Osama bin Laden in 2012 movie 'Zero Dark Thirty', but Jessica insists she still doesn't feel like a celebrity.
She explained: "I don't get used to it, I feel like I've found a place in the industry, but that I'm observing everyone. That I've got into the coolest concert ever, and I'm backstage and I get to hang out with the [Rolling] Stones. I don't feel like I'm part of a band."

Andre Benjamin didn’t get high to prepare for role

Andre Benjamin didn't prepare for the role of Jimi Hendrix just by "getting high".
The Outkast star - also know as Andre 3000 - portrays the famous rocker during his early years in the upcoming biopic 'Jimi: All By My Side' and claims that although he's received criticism for taking on the role of a 20-something at the age of 37, he thinks it benefited the film.
Explaining that his maturity helped him to interpret Jimi with more subtlety, Andre said: "I wasn't thinking I could pull it off by just getting high, you know?"
He added to The Sunday Times newspaper: "I think there should be hundreds of Hendrix movies, because there are so many stories to tell...We were just doing a different kind of thing."
Meanwhile, the now 39-year-old star - who has son Seven Sirius, 16, with the singer Erykah Bafdu - admits his personality means he's gone through many different phases in life.
He shared: "Well, I'm a Gemini, so there have been times in my life when I've gone there, and I've done drugs. Then I've been a strict vegan, or vegetarian, for a couple of years. It's that dichotomy you know? I guess you could just call it being a human."

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies features 45 minute battle scene

'The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies' will conclude with a 45-minute battle sequence.
The news has been confirmed by acclaimed director Peter Jackson, who's assured fans of the trilogy that measures are being put in place to ensure they do not suffer "battle fatigue".
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the 52 year old explained: "We have a rule that we're not allowed more than two or three shots of anonymous people fighting without cutting back to our principal characters.
"Otherwise the audience just ends up with battle fatigue."
The New Zealander explained that a great deal of preparatory work went into the spectacular battle scenes, which take place at the bottom of the Lonely Mountain.
Jackson - who also directed 'The Lord of the Rings' trilogy - said: "We had to design the landscape itself and figure out, 'OK, if we have 10,000 orcs, how much room are they going to take up?'
"'Are they going to fill up the valley or look like a speck?' Then we could start drawing the arrows on the schematics."
He said, too, that eagles will play a role in the battle scenes, but not in the way fans have come to expect.
Jackson remarked: "[author J.R.R.] Tolkien uses eagles in a way that can be kind of awkward because they tend to show up out of the blue and change things pretty quickly.
"So here they're just part of the plan, not the saviours. I mean, I do realise that if the eagles had just been able to bring Frodo to Mount Doom in 'Lord of the Rings' and let him drop the ring in, those movies would have been much shorter."

Jesse Eisenberg wanted for Suicide Squad

Jesse Eisenberg is set to return as Lex Luthor in another movie.
The 31-year-old actor's portrayal of the villain in 'Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice' has impressed Warner Bros. and DC Comics bosses so they want him to reprise the role in the forthcoming film based on the 'Suicide Squad', which will be directed by David Ayer, Deadline reports.
The movie sees a group of supervillains from the comic book world recruited for dangerous missions by the government and stars including Will Smith, Ryan Gosling, Tom Hardy and Margot Robbie are said to be being considered for parts.
So far, Eisenberg is just in talks for the movie as he is already committed to appearing in 'Now You See Me 2' and is also considering a role in 'Arms & The Dudes', Todd Phillips' forthcoming stoner comedy.
Once casting is in place and work begins on the film, 'Suicide Squad' is expected to be released in August 2016.
Director Ayer recently spoke of how excited he was to get to work on the project.
The 'Fury' filmmaker said: ."I love the passion [comic-book fans] have for these characters and these worlds. I think there's something incredible about the comic genre and technology has finally caught up with pen and ink to render these fantastic worlds in a way that feels believable and visceral to audiences. It's a secular religion in that regards. The mythology that these characters represent - the idea of them as fallen gods on Earth - is intriguing to me. I can't wait to start exploring those corridors."
