Jamie Foxx will reportedly star in 'The Trap'.
The Oscar-winning actor is believed to be starring in the gangster drama, directed by Harmony Korine of 'Spring Breakers's fame.
Sources revealed to Variety magazine that Harmony will both write and direct the film, his "most ambitious to date".
Actor Benicio del Toro is also expected to star alongside Jamie and John Lesher and Charles-Marie Anthonioz will produce the film.
The movie's plot details are being kept secretive, but it is expected that filming will begin early next year in Miami, Florida.
Meanwhile, the 46-year-old actor - who has starred in blockbuster hits such as 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' - recently admitted he thinks being "fly" is too expensive.
He previously said: ''You want to be Beverly Hills, you want to be fly, so you get your pool on when people come round, so it's 80 degrees, 'Check the pool, check the Jacuzzi, it's 104' [degrees].
''But when you get that bill...next time they come over to my house it's freezing, ice cold. That thing is like two grand a month.''

Eddie Redmayne never felt "comfortable" whilst filming 'The Theory of Everything'.
The 32-year-old actor - who plays the lead in a biopic about Stephen Hawking's life - admitted that he couldn't relax on set because of the pressure of playing someone so "iconic".
When asked at what point he felt comfortable during shooting, he said: "Never, actually. Particularly because there is so much documentary material on Stephen and I watched and continued to watch sort of all of it ...
"It's unheard of, really, for an actor to see every day's material but I kept seeing it. I had this iPad with all this footage of Stephen and then I'd see the footage of me and wish it could just blend.
"There was never a moment where I could relax, right to the last scene."
Meanwhile, Eddie also opened up embarrassing himself when he first met Stephen.
He explained to Collider.com: "I'd spent maybe four or five months researching everything about [Stephen] and in the process, I began to idolise him more and more and what he'd achieved and how he chose to live his life.
"I suffer from verbal diarrhoea and I basically spent the first 35 minutes just genuinely vomiting forth information about Stephen Hawking to Stephen Hawking."
He continued: "I ended up saying: 'Of course, Stephen, you were born on the 8th of January, which is Galileo's birthday ... I was born on the 6th of January, so we're both Capricorns.' There was the six minute pause and in his iconic voice, he came out and said: 'I am an astronomer, not an astrologer'."

Christopher Nolan preferred to use more practical special effects in 'Interstellar'.
The 44-year-old - who directed and co-wrote the science fiction film - wanted to create a "realistic" atmosphere for the actors on set as much as possible.
Speaking in a behind-the-scenes video posted on CBM Trailers's YouTube channel, the movie's SFX supervisor, Scott Fisher, said: "Chris wants us to do as much as you can practical.
"If you can achieve it in camera, that's always the goal."
Producer, Lynda Obst added: "He takes us to these exotic locations and creates a planetary atmosphere.
"He's filling the screen with a real image that feels real because it is real."
Meanwhile, John Lithgow, who plays Donald in the film, recounts how Christopher created a particular scene with a dust cloud.
He explained: "He loves to work from reality. When we turn around and say: 'Uh oh, a dust storm, you figure you were just gonna look at an empty landscape and they just put it in later for us so we would have to pretend. No."
Christopher added: "For me, when you're dealing with the vastness of the universe, it's going to have to be the most ambitious film you've done. That takes a number of different forms."

Anne Hathaway is "proud" of 'Interstellar'.
The 31-year-old actress - who plays Amelia in the sci-fi film - has revealed she usually nitpicks her performance in movies but didn't want to in the case of 'Interstellar'.
She told Access Hollywood: "I'm really proud to be in this one. Sometimes when you make a film, you watch yourself and you just you want to nitpick.
"You wanna say - and it's constructive criticism - I think it's a good thing to do, but at the end of this movie I couldn't do that because I didn't want to."
She added: "I didn't want to go to the part of my brain that says, 'Ok, well maybe you could have been better or you could have done this differently.
"I just wanted to let the feeling of the film wash over me because if you let it take you away it is such an incredible ride - one of the best I've ever been on."
Meanwhile, the actress revealed that her father was a fan of the movie.
She explained: "My dad said it was the greatest cinematic experience of his life and I would agree with that.
"It's an incredible movie and I'm so proud of Chris Nolan [the film's director and writer]."
Anne also admitted that she enjoyed filming alongside Matthew McConaughey, who made filming "fun" whilst still staying "focused".
She said: "It was pretty intense, but you know, it was also really fun. Matthew keeps things very focused on set but also light.
"I mean, he's got amazing stories. He's lived a really cool life as it turns out."

Actors on set of Angelina Jolie's 'Louis Zamperini' have revealed that the violent scenes made them throw up and cry.
Japanese pop star Miyavi, who plays sergeant Matsuhiro Watanabe in the film, admitted that one scene in particular where he brutally beats Louis, played by Jack O'Connell, made him nauseous.
He told Vanity Fair magazine: "It was awful torture for me to hate the other actors - I had to have hatred for them.
"When I had to beat them, I had to think about protecting my family. At the same time, I didn't want to be just a bad guy. I wanted to put humanity in this role."
He added: "[Matsuhiro] was both crazy and sadistic, but also weak and traumatized."
Miyavi - whose real name is Takamasa Ishihara - also admitted that the 39-year-old actress and director was very "persuasive" when it came to asking him to take on the role.
He said: "It's a story that is still painful for my country.
"But she told me she wanted to make a bridge between all countries that had conflict. She was very persuasive."
Meanwhile, Angelina spoke up about the man on which the film was based, who she showed an early cut of the film to before he died aged 97 in July this year.
She said: "I was more emotional than he was. I went in to take care of him - and he was taking care of me.
"It was an extremely moving experience, to watch someone watching their own life. Someone so physically strong ... and they are at the stage where their body is giving up."

Keira Knightley "can't really imagine" returning to the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' franchise.
The British actress achieved worldwide recognition for her performance as Elizabeth Swann in the ever-popular franchise, which features Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom, who recently suggested he'd be keen to appear in another of the movies.
Asked whether she'd be interested in the project, the 29-year-old actress told Digital Spy: "No, I don't think so.
"It was an amazing point in my life, but it was a good five-year chunk. It was incredible, but I can't really imagine going back to it."
The eagerly-awaited fifth film in the series, otherwise known as 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales', is currently in the casting stages, with the likes of Ansel Elgort and George MacKay said to be in contention for the part of the male lead.
Meanwhile, Javier Bardem has been linked with the role of the villain in the new film.
Away from the screen, Keira recently admitted to being "pretty neurotic" until she was 25.
The actress said she used to take herself "far too seriously" and obsessed over the criticism she received, particularly over her looks.
She recalled: "I found it difficult to step back from it and I was taking it very personally. Partly because as an actor you don't want necessarily that thicker skin, and I couldn't figure how to be open emotionally and yet get a thick enough skin so that things didn't hurt."

Henry Cavill is set to star in new action-thriller 'Stratton'.
The 31-year-old actor - who's best known for his role as Superman in 'Man of Steel' - will play the part of John Stratton, the character from the Duncan Falconer series of novels, with the film set to be produced by Cavill's Promethean Productions.
He said: "Having the opportunity to expand my horizons into film-making is incredibly exciting.
"Getting to work so closely with my brother in this venture is equally so."
'Stratton', the first in a series of eight novels by Falconer, is set in southern Italy, Rome and London, with shooting set to begin in the spring.
Meanwhile, Cavill is set to appear in the much-anticipated 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice', which will also feature Hollywood star Ben Affleck.
In a recent interview, the 42-year-old actor insisted the film won't be another 'Daredevil', the 2003 superhero movie.
Affleck told NPR: "I have regrets about 'Daredevil'.
"I have regrets about all the movies that I don't think were executed properly. Look, if I thought we were remaking 'Daredevil', I'd be out there picketing myself."
However, Affleck praised the behind-the-scenes team working on the film.
He said: "It was written by Chris Terrio, who wrote Argo, who's not a comic guy. And it's directed by Zack Snyder, who's an incredibly magical sort of visual stylist, who's steeped in the comic world.
"And you have this sandwich of talents. I felt very confident about it. I thought it would be nice to make one of these movies really, really good."
