Dakota Johnson found it "eerie" watching 'Fifty Shades of Grey'.
The 25-year-old actress plays innocent student Anastasia Steele in the film adaptation of the bestselling novel and found it odd viewing herself on screen when she watched the movie because she'd "never seen anything like it" before.
She said: "It was an eerie experience. I've never seen anything like it - but I'm really not that objective!"
As well as it being slightly strange, the star admitted she also found it "painful" because the memories of shooting saucy sex scenes with co-star Jamie Dornan - who plays dominating businessman Christian Grey - were still fresh in her mind.
She explained: "It wasn't long after we finished shooting so I remember every scene and all the difficulties. Seeing it again was sometimes painful."
However, Dakota - who is the daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson - revealed she thinks people will like the movie, because it looks "beautiful".
She told Britain's OK! magazine: "I don't know how to describe it, but it looks very beautiful."

The 31-year-old actress - who is nominated in the Best Actress category for her portrayal of Stephen Hawking's wife Jane in 'The Theory of Everything' - has confessed she had planned to stay in bed while the announcements were taking place.
She said: "[I was] in LA in my pyjamas. I was hoping to sleep through the whole thing and wake up knowing either way.
"But I woke up at 4am and they were announced at 5.30am. When I found out, I leapt out of bed and phoned my family and friends."

Cara Delevingne is to appear in a film produced by Elizabeth Jagger.
The 22-year-old model-and-actress will star in a movie called 'Prime Mover' about the Occupy Wall Street movement, although no release date has been announced.
According to Digital Spy, Jagger told Love magazine: "She's an amazing actress, and she's so perfect for this part it's a joke.
"It's like it was written for her, but it wasn't. Scheduling her is really stressful scheduling though!"
'Prime Mover' will mark the first time Jagger has produced a film, while Delevingne has already appeared in some major productions, including 'The Face of an Angel' alongside Kate Beckinsale.
What's more, she was recently cast as Enchantress in the much-anticipated 'Suicide Squad', which also features Will Smith as Deadshot and Jared Leto as the Joker.
Speaking earlier this week, Will insisted details of 'Suicide Squad' will remain a closely-guarded secret.
The 46-year-old star is already preparing for his role, but says he's not able to reveal any information about the film before its release.
Asked whether he could reveal any details about the film, he said: "No sir, I'd have to kill you. It's top secret but it's really good, though. It's great stuff, fantastic. I'm already in shape for it, I'm already training."

Will Smith feels guilty about getting his son Jaden "involved in After Earth".
The 46-year-old actor starred alongside his son in the 2013 sci-fi film and has revealed the movie's negative reaction was more difficult to accept than the response to the action-comedy movie 'Wild Wild West'.
He explained: "Wild Wild West was less painful than 'After Earth' because my son was involved in After Earth and I led him into it. That was excruciating. What I learned from that failure is how you win.
"I got reinvigorated after the failure of After Earth. I stopped working for a year and a half. I had to dive into why it was so important for me to have number-one movies. And I never would have looked at myself in that way."
However, Will says the failure of 'After Earth' taught him a valuable life lesson.
He told Esquire magazine: "I was a guy who, when I was fifteen my girlfriend cheated on me, and I decided that if I was number one, no woman would ever cheat on me.
"All I have to do is make sure that no one's ever better than me and I'll have the love that my heart yearns for.
"And I never released that and moved into a mature way of looking at the world and my artistry and love until the failure of After Earth, when I had to accept that it's not a good source of creation."

Mrs Potts assists Belle - the heroine of the story, played by Emma Watson - to sort out her romantic stresses.
The film's director Bill Condon has been working with composer Alan Menken to determine which songs from the 1991 animated movie will make the cut in the eagerly-awaited live action film.

Writing on her Facebook page, Emma said: "I'm finally able to tell you... that I will be playing Belle in Disney's new live-action Beauty and the Beast! It was such a big part of my growing up, it almost feels surreal that I'll get to dance to 'Be Our Guest' and sing 'Something There'.

Jamie Dornan was the perfect gentleman during sex scenes with Dakota Johnson.
The 32-year-old actor stars as Christian Grey in 'Fifty Shades of Grey' alongside Johnson - who plays Anastasia Steele - and he's revealed he behaved impeccably while shooting the racy scenes.
Speaking at the UK premiere of the movie in London last night (12.02.15), Dornan said: "I'd be a really awful person if I didn't cover her up after they called cut and she's naked. I'm not the kind of guy who could just leave her."
Dornan, who married his wife Amelia Warner in 2013, said that his partner is unlikely to see the movie.
He explained: "She hasn't seen the film and I don't think she will, to be honest. I'd understand if she didn't want to."
He also acknowledged that the film could prove awkward for his other loved ones, given the saucy nature of some of the scenes.
Dornan added: "I think there's some stuff where my family and friends will never have seen that side of me before, but it wasn't enough to make me not want to do it."
Meanwhile, author E.L. James - whose books inspired the new movie - admitted it was tough having to hand over creative control of the characters to director Sam Taylor-Johnson.
She shared: "I found it very, very difficult.
"I had to honour the fandom and there were some ideas where I thought, 'No, the Red Room does need to be red', so I fought for the story because of the fans.
"In any creative environment you're going to get discussions."

Daniel Craig's knee injury has sent filming on 'SPECTRE' into chaos.
The 46-year-old actor sustained a knock while shooting the new James Bond movie last week and though he was initially expected to return to work a few days later, schedules have now been changed to accommodate his recovery, with planned stunt shooting in London last Sunday (08.02.15) axed.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Daniel's injury is a real concern. Missed deadlines are a nightmare in the film world as it pushes everything back.
"Then not all the iconic locations can be rebooked easily or quickly.
"In two weeks filming is due to switch to Rome and bosses fear Daniel's recovery may mean they have to plan around their main star. It's certainly not ideal."
While the actor recovers, studio filming and location shots which he isn't involved in have been brought forward, and close-up fighting shots have been delayed.
Director Sam Mendes now faces a race against time to get the film finished in time for its release in cinemas in November.
Yesterday (12.02.15) movie bosses released the first footage of the spy saga.
The behind-the-scenes clip, which lasts for just under two minutes, shows Daniel dressed in black firing a shot and running towards a burning vehicle on a snowy mountaintop in Solden, Austria.
Gregg Wilson, the film's associate producer, teased: "This is going to be one of the major action sequences of the movie, a jewel in the crown so to speak. It's going to be spectacular and Austria seemed to offer everything that we needed to pull it off."

Will Smith thinks the sleight-of-hand moves in 'Focus' will fool cinemagoers.
The 46-year-old Hollywood actor - who stars alongside Margot Robbie, 24 - plays the role of conman Nicky in the romantic comedy-drama film and says that some of the tricks performed in the movie are sure to keep audiences hooked.
Speaking at the UK premiere of the movie in London's Leicester Square, he told BANG Showbiz: "I think the level of the cons are ridiculous.
"There's a scene in the middle of this movie that's going to be the signature scene of this film. And it's a magnificent con that just creatively and artistically, people are going to love being fooled in a movie theatre."
Will learnt the sleight-of-hand tricks from Las Vegas theatrical pickpocket Apollo Robbins, but he confessed that his talents pale in comparison.
Asked how his skills match-up to the expert, Will said: "Apollo is a master. I've got none of that stuff. I can't do it."
Apollo designed sleight-of-hand moves that have never been seen before on film, according to producer Denise Di Novi, who said he's been "a tremendous resource both technically and creatively during this process".
