Spectre to open at the Mexican Day of the Dead

'Spectre' will open at the Mexican Day of the Dead.
The latest installment in the iconic James Bond franchise will see the legendary British spy, played by Daniel Craig, race against time to bring down an evil plot at the Mexican festival, a ritual dating back thousands of years.
Looking forward to the opening sequence of the movie, make-up designer Naomi Donne pledged: "It's going to be the most visually exciting opening for a Bond movie, ever."
News of the opening sequence has been revealed in a behind-the-scenes video, in which it was also confirmed the sequence will feature as many as 1,500 extras.
This comes shortly after it was suggested the Bond franchise could be set to move movie studios.
'Spectre' is the last scheduled film for Sony Pictures and it's been speculated the brand will soon switch to Warner Bros due to the strong relationship between the company's Chief Executive, Kevin Tsujihara, and MGM Chief Gary Barber.
Tom Rothman, Sony Pictures Entertainment Motion Picture Group Chairman, said: "The reality is that Sony's had a fantastic run with the Bonds.
"Sure we're going to compete for (the rights), but let's be honest, so is everybody in the business."

Demi Lovato replaces Katy Perry in Smurf franchise

Demi Lovato is replacing Katy Perry as the voice of Smurfette in the third Smurfs feature film.
The 22-year-old singer will voice the part in the sequel 'Get Smurfy' and takes the place of Katy, who starred in the first two films released in 2011 and 2013.
In a promotional video released to introduce the new casting, the 'Heart Attack' singer said: "I'm so excited to announce that I will be voicing Smurfette in the new fully-animated Smurfs movie."
The movie will set out to tell the origin story of the blue creatures, with comedic actor Rainn Wilson, 49 - known in the US for being funnyman Dwight Schrute in 'The Office' - playing the evil wizard Gargamel and Mandy Patinkin, 62, voicing Papa Smurf.
Demi's fans will be thrilled with the announcement since her career began in children's TV and film, when she landed the lead role in the Disney Channel's movie 'Camp Rock'.
In recent weeks, meanwhile, Demi has been linked with a role on the UK version of the 'X Factor', with reports claiming Simon Cowell is keen to have her on the show.
In May, a source said: "Simon's management phoned to see when Demi could sign her contract about a week ago.
"They both have busy schedules but she is planning to do it as soon as possible and Simon is eager to get the judging panel sorted."

Chris Pratt confirmed for Jurassic World sequel

Chris Pratt will star in a sequel to 'Jurassic World'.
The 35-year-old actor, who features alongside Bryce Dallas Howard in the new sci-fi movie, has confirmed he will return for the next film in the money-spinning franchise.
Asked whether he's signed on for another movie, Chris said: "I am. They have me for I think 38 movies or something."
Chris also paid tribute to 'Jurassic World' director Colin Trevorrow, saying he "nailed it".
The Hollywood star, who's married to 'Scary Movie' actress Anna Faris, told Entertainment Weekly: "He's the boss. He maintained control, was decisive. He created a lot of movement in the scenes.
"He directed. I say that because sometimes directors come in and yelling action and yelling cut is not directing. Directing is letting us know his vision.
"He directed all the animatics stuff too. So when he was directing this movie, he was essentially remaking this movie."
Meanwhile, it's been confirmed 'Jurassic World' has already raked in a record $511.8 million globally, meaning it is the first movie to ever break half a billion dollars over its opening weekend.
Of the overarching figure, as much as $100.8 million has come from China alone.

Dionne Bromfield questions Amy Winehouse documentary

Amy Winehouse's goddaughter believes the new biopic of the late icon's life will not depict the woman she knew.
Dionne Bromfield was the late singer's musical protege and confessed that whilst she wants to see the film that tells her godmother's story - and includes interviews from 80 of the singer's friends, family and collaborators - she did not want to be a part of the making of the documentary.
She said: "No film is ever going to be able to tell me about the Amy I knew."
The 'Back to Black' hit-maker was a global celebrity and a multiple Grammy Award winner when she died in 2011 of alcohol poisoning at her home in London at the age of 27.
Her family are unhappy with the outcome of the biopic - made by the team behind the BAFTA-winning film 'Senna' - and released a statement before the documentary was shown at Cannes in May.
They said: "They feel that the film is a missed opportunity to celebrate her life and talent and that it is both misleading and contains some basic untruths."
Speaking about her godmother's life in an interview with The Mail on Sunday's You magazine, Dionne - who is now 19 and a performer herself thanks to the support of the famous singer - says Amy was happier than her public image portrayed her to be.
She said: "I'm not stupid. I knew what was going on. But Amy never showed me the bad side of her life. Even if she was unhappy she would always smile for me.
She added: "She gave me heaps of advice. She would encourage me to write my own songs, just as she wrote hers. She said the secret was to pour out my heart ... she said a song could be created out of anything if you learned to express yourself."
'Amy' is due for release July 10.

Kit Harington’s Spooks injury

Kit Harington "lost consciousness" while filming 'Spooks: The Greater Good'.
The 28-year-old actor was accidentally thrown through a wall while shooting the spy saga and was left in agony by the error, but movie producers were so impressed by the subsequent footage, they decided to keep it in the finished film.
He said: "I wasn't meant to go through that wall. That was a mistake.
"It worked brilliantly on film but it hurt like hell.
"That was me. I've still got the bump on the head to prove it.
"If you slow it right down you can see me lose consciousness for a second."
While producers were pleased with the footage, the incident initially caused panic on set.
Kit added to The Sun newspaper: "It was halfway through the film. After the initial panic everyone went: 'Great shot!'
"But at first it was a bit worrying -- you might have killed your lead actor."
Despite the accident, the 'Game of Thrones' star hasn't been put off doing his own stunts because he enjoys action scenes so much.
He explained: "I really love it. I've said it before, but you can lose yourself in an action scene in a way that's much easier than to lose yourself in a dialogue bit.
"I really enjoy the physical aspect to my work and this gave me the opportunity to do that in a different setting from what I am used to."

Fifty Shades of Grey was a ‘good working environment’

Callum Keith Rennie insists the set of 'Fifty Shades of Grey' was a "good working environment".
The 54-year-old actor, who stars as Ray Steele in the movie based on the best-selling novel by author E.L. James, has claimed there were no signs of on-set tensions between director Sam Taylor-Johnson and others, despite rumours to the contrary.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, Callum said: "Everybody was very congenial and getting along. It was a good working everyone."
The actor also revealed he had no idea that Sam was set to walk away from the franchise - a decision she made public earlier this year.
Asked whether there were any clues that the director wanted to quit, he explained: "No, I had no idea. You can never tell, you can never tell what's going on in people's minds. Maybe they want it in a different way.
"I'm a hired gun - I show up, I do my thing and the politics of it at a high level ... I don't concern myself with it. It's a shame because we had a nice chat and we got along well.
"You wonder what's going to happen on the next movie."
'Fifty Shades of Grey' is available on Digital HD now and Blu-ray, DVD on June 22, 2015 from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.

Rachel McAdams enjoyed working with James Franco

Rachel McAdams had a "wonderful experience" working with James Franco.
The 36-year-old actress had wanted to work with the eccentric actor for some time and was delighted to be cast alongside him in 'Everything Will Be Fine'.
She said: "He's so easy to work with. Even though he plays a man who is haunted by his past, he was light-hearted on the set.
"I've wanted to work with him for a long time. It was a wonderful experience."
When it comes to choosing her projects, Rachel will consider "almost anything" if she likes the writing and the people involved with the production.
She said: "I judge projects by the people involved and the quality of the writing.
"If I feel a connection to the role, I'm willing to play almost anything.
"Something either clicks or it doesn't . But I have a romantic side - I'm drawn to those stories."
Rachel can next be seen in acclaimed drama series 'True Detective' and is excited for her fans to see the show.
She told LOOK magazine: "I'm so glad to be a part of it. It's so interesting to play this kind of character, which I've never really done before."

Scott Eastwood would ditch work for love

Scott Eastwood would give up his career for love.
The 'Longest Ride' actor knows it would be the "ultimate sacrifice" to turn his back on his passion so would only do so if he knew the woman in question was 'The One'
Asked if he'd give up acting for the love of his life, he said: "Yes I would. I think that's the ultimate sacrifice and if I couldn't see my life without her then of course. She would have to be 'The One' though."
Scott's father is 'American Sniper' director Clint Eastwood and he admits the Hollywood legend used to try and set him up on dates when he was younger.
Asked if Clint ever set him up, he said: "Yes! When I was 16 he was rooting for me and this older girl. He wanted me to make it happen and it did. He was so happy.
"Would I trust him to pick me a girl? Yes sure. I absolutely would."
The 29-year-old actor falls in love easily, but tries to bear in mind some advice he was given by his mother, Jacelyn Reeves.
He explained to We Love Pop magazine: "I've been the guy who falls immediately but my mom always told me to, 'Give it all seasons'. If you give it a year then you'll know if it's right."

Chris Pratt’s weighty costume

Chris Pratt views his weight as a "costume".
The 'Jurassic World' actor shed the pounds to star in 'Guardians of the Galaxy' before dropping another 50lbs for his role in the dinosaur saga but just views his fluctuating size as a way of getting into character with a "great deal of effort".
He said: "It's cool. It's nice to know that there's something I can do, that I can manipulate the way I look - that's a good thing for an actor to be able to do.
"For years people have been putting on masks, putting on costumes, and this is essentially a costume that I took a great deal of effort to put on."
Chris - who has two-year-old son Jack with wife Anna Faris - knows he can rely on his spouse to bring him back to earth if he starts acting like a "douche" but he is grateful for her support.
He added in an interview with heat magazine: "I'm sure if my wife catches me being a douche, she'll be like, 'Come on Bro'. But she loves me however I am, she didn't mind me the way I looked before, so that's nice."
