Emma Watson’s toughest role

Emma Watson's "hardest part" is playing a nun.
The 25-year-old actress - who rose to fame as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter franchise - plays Lena in political drama 'Colonia Dignidad' who is forced to join a cult run by preacher Paul Schäfer (Michael Nyqvist) as she searches for her husband who was kidnapped by the government.
Emma told Daily MailOnline: "It's the hardest part I've ever had to play. But also the most satisfying. It felt like the right thing to do."
Set in Chile in the seventies and directed by Oscar-winner Florian Gallenberger, the film tells the true story of Emma's character who disguises herself as a nun to infiltrate a Nazi cult.
'Inglorious Bastards' actor Daniel Brühl, 37, plays Lena's husband Daniel who is taken by General Augusto Pinochet's secret police, DINA.
And Emma hopes the role will be the final "push" that will rid her of her Hogwarts persona.
A source shared: "Emma is determined to distance herself from Harry Potter and this is her big push to be taken seriously. She gives an amazing performance and is being tipped as an Oscar contender. She is dowdy in this movie - she's undergone a make-under."
Colonia Dignidad opens in Germany next month and the UK early next year.

Kristen Stewart makes Eisenberg a better actor

Kristen Stewart makes Jesse Eisenberg a better actor.
The duo - who previously worked on 2009's 'Adventureland' together - have teamed up again for 'American Ultra' and Jesse believes they help each other to achieve greater potential.
He told Collider: "She's her toughest critic and as am I. So in addition to making each other better by virtue of us working hard together, I think also we make each other feel a little more confident about what we are doing. Because I can tell when she's not feeling great about something and she can tell when I'm not feeling great about something."
Jesse also revealed that he would often get so nervous on the 'Adventureland' set that he couldn't eat and Kristen would feed him.
He said: "When we did 'Adventureland' I used to forget to eat out of anxiety and she would bring me food. So she's a real sweet women and I can tell when she's not feeling great about something where the movie is concerned and then I try to make her feel good about it. Because she's good she's very talented in her skill set."

Ray Winstone: I couldn’t do a nine-to-five job

Ray Winstone couldn't do a nine-to-five job.
The 59-year-old actor - widely regarded as one of Hollywood's most humble stars - has revealed he could never imagine himself doing another job, but he admires those people who work in roles they don't enjoy.
Asked what else he could do besides act, Ray said: "I've tried to think about it, but I don't know what else I could do. Maybe when I was younger I would've gone off on a different route and done something else, but I could never see myself doing a nine-to-five. To me, they're the bravest people in the world.
"They get up in the morning on a train at five o'clock in the morning, go to work and feed their kids - in a job that not all the time they enjoy doing. I'm lucky enough to enjoy the job I do."
Although Ray has filmed in some of the most impressive-looking locations over the last 12 months, the London-born star admitted he often wishes he could spend more time at home.
Ray told ITV's 'This Morning': "Last year, I was out of the country about eight months. You know, I went from going all round Italy - which is fantastic - to Venezuela, Tahiti and my mates go, 'That's fantastic.' And at the end of it you just go, 'I want to go home.'"

Vin Diesel confirms new xXx movie

Vin Diesel is to return to the role of Xander Cage for a third 'xXx' film.
The 48-year-old star - who also appeared in 'Furious 7' earlier this year - has confirmed he's to reprise the role for a new movie in the franchise, with filming set to begin in December.
In an Instagram post, Vin said: "While I was filming XXX, guys on set called me Air Diesel... The time to return has come. Filming starts December in the Philippines. (sic)"
Vin is currently basking in the success of 'Furious 7', which is one of the highest grossing movies of 2015, and earlier this year, he predicted the action movie would win an Oscar.
He said: "Universal is going to have the biggest movie in history with this movie.
"It will probably win best picture at the Oscars, unless the Oscars don't want to be relevant ever."
'Furious 7' also starred Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez and the late Paul Walker, and Vin claimed no other movie will come close to the James Wan-directed picture in terms of sheer power.
He said: "This will win best picture. There is nothing that will ever come close to the power of this thing."

Eva Longoria: Hollywood should reflect society

Eva Longoria thinks Hollywood should reflect wider society more accurately.
The 40-year-old actress, who was born to Mexican/American parents, has urged the film industry to reflect society, and minority communities in particular, more precisely.
She said: "We (Hispanics) are about 16 percent of the population, but we're only seven percent in films and television."
What's more, Eva insisted Hispanics' participation in the US film industry should extend to "producers, directors, writers", not just actors.
She told EFE: "We should create the content we want to see on television."
Eva's remarks come shortly after admitting she dreams of becoming the "female George Clooney".
She said: "I want to be the female George Clooney.
"He directs, produces and stars. I want to be in charge of the final product."
Despite this, Eva has also previously claimed acting is nothing more than a "means to an end" for her.
She shared: "I've always been business-minded. I worked in corporate America before becoming an actress and knew that acting wasn't the end but a means to an end.
"It gave me the platform and the exposure I needed to do my philanthropic work. It also gave me the financial security to focus on my other businesses, start new businesses, and even help other people start businesses."

Zachary Quinto: I have no gay role model

Zachary Quinto feels like he occupies a "unique space" as a gay actor.
The 38-year-old star - who's best known for his roles as Sylar on the sci-fi drama series 'Heroes', and Spock in the rebooted 'Star Trek' - has admitted that as a gay actor, he feels there are very people who can help guide his career.
He said: "For me, personally, it's interesting, because I looked around when I got 'Star Trek', and I said to myself, 'Who could I look to for guidance for how to navigate this path that I'm on?' And there wasn't anybody.
"I look around and say 'OK, yes, there's a lot of gay actors that are open, many more now than there were 10 years ago.' But I still feel like I'm occupying kind of a unique space."
Despite this, Zachary counted fellow actor Leonard Nimoy - who previously starred as Spock and died, aged 83, earlier this year - among his closest friends in the showbiz industry, saying he considered him to be "like family".
He told the Daily Telegraph newspaper: "I recognised a lot of qualities in him that I aspired to and I found him incredibly generous and intelligent and compassionate and funny."

Jesse Eisenberg was ‘surprised’ ‘Now You See Me’ was a hit

Jesse Eisenberg was "surprised" his film 'Now You See Me' was a big hit.
The 31-year-old actor - who starred in the 2013 movie with Isla Fisher about a magician who leads a team of talented illusionists called the Four Horsemen into robbing a bank - says he wasn't expecting the blockbuster to be a massive financial success.
He said: "I don't really keep very close tabs on the financial performances of movies but I was very aware that internationally it was a big hit. Which I was surprised by because there was a lot of quick dialogue and I thought that maybe that would be difficult to translate as a non-English speaking audience reading it. But people seem to love it in every country - and it was more popular in one country than another ... that was surprising.
Jesse will reprise his role as J. Daniel "Danny" Atlas for the sequel which is also set to star Daniel Radcliffe as Arthur Tressler's son Walter who seek's revenge for his father's death.
The sequel will be released in June 2016 and the actor says he feels "lucky" to get to work with the cast again.
Jesse told Collider: "it allowed us to make another one, which we liked doing because it's kind of a tight knit group. And we really enjoy each other, so I was excited that we got another opportunity to do it again."

Martin Freeman isn’t a ‘typical’ actor

Martin Freeman's partner says he's not a "typical" actor.
Amanda Abbington has revealed she admires the 'Sherlock' star's decision to turn down work he doesn't think is right.
She said: "I'm just dead proud of him. He makes brilliant choices as well - he's turned things down because they haven't been right and I think: 'Oh God, I would take everything.'
"Whereas he's careful, he's discerning. He's not your typical actor - he mulls things over. He has good morals, and I admire that."
However, Amanda has admitted she has no idea about her husband's latest project, starring alongside Scarlett Johansson and Robert Downey Jr in the new Marvel movie.
She shared to The Observer magazine: "I don't really know much about Marvel. Joe [their son] loves all that stuff, but I ask Martin about it and then I cloud over.
"I think he's part of the government - he has to do a lot of stuff into walkie-talkies. He says: 'I have to order Scarlett Johansson and Robert Downey Jr round all day,' and I'm like: 'Oh stop name- dropping, stop it.'"

Gemma Arterton’s opera ambition

Gemma Arterton wants to work on an opera.
The 29-year-old actress adores the "drama" of the passionate musical productions and would love to show off her vocal skills in a challenging role.
Asked what she would do if she wasn't an actor, she said: "A theatre director. Or I'd love to do opera. I'm classically trained, I really love singing and I love the drama of opera."
Gemma - who is dating director Franklin Ohanessian - can next be seen in French movie 'Gemma Bovery', and with two other movies based in France in the pipeline, she finds making films there much more comfortable than her native UK or Hollywood as there are less industry-based restrictions and considerations in place.
She explained: "Something about filmmaking in France feels very unrestricted to me, which you don't necessarily have at home, or more so in the US because it's all wrapped up in money and release dates and executives. In France, those considerations rarely come into play."
The 'Quantum of Solace' star admires French actress Juliette Binoche and aspires to be just like her.
Discussing her dream co-stars, she told Britain's HELLO! magazine: "Sean Penn. That would really be something. And Juliette Binoche, because she seems quite down to earth and she's got this timeless, ageless beauty and she's talented and elegant - all the things that I want to be."
