The Hatton Garden jewellery raid that took place in London in April will be made into a film.
Rights to the story, which involved the robbery of gold and gems worth £10m from a safe deposit box over Easter weekend, have been purchased by Legacy Corporation Ltd and film bosses are reportedly seeking 'Legend' actor Tom Hardy to play a lead role in the movie.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "The whole country was talking about the Hatton raid."
The film will be named 'Thief' and will tell the story of the gang who used a drill to bore a hole 50cm deep, 25cm high and 45cm wide into the wall of the vault.
It is thought the nine men - six of whom were over the age of 50 - disabled the lift so they could climb down the shaft to the basement where they ransacked 73 safety deposit boxes.
London's Metropolitan police apologised for its lack of action after failing to respond to a telephone call from a security firm that sounded an alarm at the building at midnight on Good Friday.
One of the men, Danny Jones - who is currently in Belmarsh Prison - is writing his autobiography which will reportedly be turned into a screenplay.
Penélope Cruz cuts Salma Hayek's hair.
The 'Zoolander 2' star grew up helping out at her family's hair salon and has never lost her love for styling hair, regularly trying hair dos out on her good friends.
She said: "I like to cut people's hair. When I was nine years old I used to spend a couple of hours a day washing and cutting hair at my parents' salon and still, today, I'll do everyone who lets me - like Salma Hayek, who is one of my best friends.
"I've done her hair when the power went out in her house, with just a candle. That one really trusts me."
And the 41-year-old actress admits her parents found it "hard work" making ends meet for the entire month when she was growing up but was quick to praise the upbringing she had.
She added to The Observer magazine: "To get to the end of the month was hard work for my parents. We only had the basics, but we had so much love that I'm very grateful for the upbringing I had."
Olivia Cooke found shaving her head for 'Me and Earl and the Dying Girl' "humbling".
The 'Bates Motel' actress plays leukemia sufferer Rachel alongside 'Project X' actor Thomas Mann in the comedy-drama and has admitted shaving her head for the role taught her a lot.
She said: "Sales assistants would follow me around shops thinking I'd steal something when I had a shaved head. And when I 'd leave the bubble of the film set, I started to notice I wasn't getting attention from the opposite sex, which I hadn't realised I was used to. It was bizarre for a while but also humbling. You need a lot more substance than just being pretty to be a good person; it was a coming of age thing for me."
However, the 21-year-old beauty confessed she had "a bit of a meltdown" the night before she shaved off her brunette locks.
She told Marie Claire magazine: "I was meant to wear a bald cap but, two weeks before shooting, I thought about all the bald caps I'd seen in films and how I'd always been able to point them out.
"The night before we shaved my head, I was weirdly excited, and then I had a bit of a meltdown so I had some vodka. I've now got a kind of mullet thing going on."
Dominic Cooper is "terrible" at shaping his own career.
The 'Mamma Mia!' star has confessed he finds it hard to turn down jobs and wishes he could be more selective about the roles he accepts in the same way Matthew McConaughey has done in more recent years.
He said: "It's scary turning down work, you always think you're never going to work again, but you have to try and figure out where you want to take your own career. Some people are really good at understanding where they want to see themselves. I'm terrible at it."
The 37-year-old actor recently wrapped on the film adaptation of the video game 'Warcraft' and has also appeared in 'Preacher', 'Agent Carter' and 'Captain America: The First Avenger', and admitted he went for a role alongside Drew Barrymore in 'Miss You Already' to take a break from the world of sci-fi and comics.
Cooper explained to Marie Claire magazine: "I just wanted to do something where I could talk as a human being, and be natural and real."
The 'Need for Speed' hunk also revealed he finds it bizarre that fans of comic book movies get so caught up in it all.
He added: "I don't know if it's me being stupid, but I can't get my head around it... I love that people get so excited but to be honest, it's odd that I've ended up making so many."
J.J. Abrams "freaks out" when he sees iconic 'Star Wars' characters on the set of his movie.
Actor John Boyega has enjoyed working with the director on the forthcoming sci-fi instalment 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' because the filmmaker gets so excited about his work.
John said: "Working on the 'Star Wars' set he created a unique environment. It was always very vibrant.
"I call JJ a nerd rock star. He's a young guy in his soul. You should see him freak out when he sees Chewbacca in full costume.
"To me, he's a film fan making his favourite films. A student of film who is making movies with a lot of money."
And John - who plays Finn in the upcoming film - believes the director has done the well-loved franchise justice with his new movie.
He told GQ magazine: "He will carry on the legacy of Spielberg and Lucas. He has a great understanding of the technical side of it, as well as the artistic side, which is really unusual.
"He makes the director of photography happy as well as the actor - a lot of directors are just obsessed with spectacle, or getting the actors on point."
Joseph Gordon-Levitt is a supporter of Edward Snowden.
The 34-year-old actor stars as the former National Security Agency contractor, who released classified documents to the media in 2013, in the new Oliver Stone-directed biopic.
And while debate continues to rage about the rights and wrongs of Snowden's actions, the Hollywood star is unambiguous in his stance.
Reflecting on his four-hour conversation with Snowden, Joseph said: "I left knowing without a doubt that what [Snowden] did, he did because he believed it was the right thing to do, that he believed it would help the country he loves.
"Now, as he would say, it's not for him to say whether it was right or wrong. That's really for people to decide on their own, and I would encourage anybody to decide that on their own. I don't want to be the actor guy who's like, 'You should listen to me! What he did was right!'
"I don't think that's my place. Even though that is what I believe - that what he did was right."
Joseph is also set to star as Philippe Petit, who walked on a wire between the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in 1974, in 'The Walk' - and he sees striking similarities between the two.
He told the Guardian newspaper: "What I found was someone warm, kind, thoughtful: a lot like Philippe. Both of them are incredibly driven towards something they believe in."

Guillermo Del Toro is still keen to make a 'Pacific Rim' sequel.
The 50-year-old filmmaker - who helmed the original movie in 2013 - has claimed efforts are still being made to create a sequel, despite its underwhelming performance at the US box office.
He said: "We are still turning in a screenplay and a budget in three weeks.
"As far as I'm concerned, it's not gone. We're still on it."
The Mexican director insisted the delay in making the movie is only temporary and does not suggest that it'll never reach the big screen.
He told Entertainment Weekly: "It moved further. I may do another movie in the middle."
Meanwhile, 'Pacific Rim' star Charlie Hunnam admitted recently that he missed the opportunity to appear in 'Fifty Shades of Grey' to feature in another of Guillermo Del Toro's movies, 'Crimson Peak', which he had accepted first.
He said: "It was the worst professional experience of my life. It was the most emotionally destructive and difficult thing that I've ever had to deal with professionally. It was heartbreaking.
"I really, really pride myself on being a professional and a man of keeping my word. It means a lot to me, truly."
Nicole Kidman is in talks to turn her stage show 'Photograph 51' into a movie.
The 48-year-old actress is currently starring in the production in London's West End and is already exploring the possibility of bringing her portrait of DNA pioneer Rosalind Franklin to the big screen.
The Oscar-winning actress admitted a movie is "a way off", but said: "The opening night's over and I couldn't be more relieved."
The stage production has received rave reviews since it opened, and Nicole is thrilled with how the show has been received.
She told the Daily Mail newspaper: "We played it the best we could, but were so eager to get through it that we lost several minutes of the running time."
Meanwhile, Michael Grandage - the director of 'Photograph 51' - said the film would not just be a movie of the play.
He shared: "It's going to be a proper picture."
This comes shortly after Nicole revealed she doesn't miss the Hollywood scene, having moved to Nashville nine years ago.
She explained: "I don't miss the Hollywood life, definitely not. But I don't think I've ever been a part of that. I still put on a gown and go on the red carpet, and that's when you're all for a moment circling each other, and I know all those people.
"If you're committed to a fame path that's a whole different thing. But for me that's almost like the burden that comes with it. I don't say that complaining, but that's the part that's work so I can do the thing I love."
