Olivia Wilde wants to create a female superhero

Olivia Wilde wants to create her own female superhero.
The 31-year-old actress is a big fan of Marvel's blockbuster movies, and has revealed she dreams of creating a female role similar to Robert Downey Jr's Iron Man.
Olivia said: "I think that's the way these Marvel heroes are written, the female superheroes included, do have complexity and flaws.
"But I think when they are translated into film, the women can become these ultimate goddesses of perfection and I would love to create a female Marvel character who is just as unexpected and complex as some of the male characters as Iron Man. I think that would be really cool!"
Olivia said it's important to create characters who have a "tangible background" to them.
The actress told PEOPLE: "The most interesting characters are the ones who have issues and are flawed individuals.
"It would be nice to give a real history, to give a real, tangible background to this character."
She also praised Marvel for its clever casting, citing 'Iron Man' as a particularly good example.
Olivia said: "Marvel has been so smart about casting unexpected people for these roles. Look at what Robert Downey brought to 'Iron Man'.
"A real, dry sense of humour and a complexity to his hero balance."

Cara Delevingne: The Enchantress is a feral being’

Cara Delevingne says her 'Suicide Squad' character is a "feral being".
The supermodel has taken on the role of The Enchantress in the upcoming movie and can't wait for audiences to see her in action.
She said: "She's an ancient sorceress. A feral being. She's been trapped for so long and now she's finally let out."
In the movie, a young woman named June is taken over by the powerful sorceress Enchantress and Cara explained her transformation.
She said: "June is an adventure-seeker who's always wanted some excitement. And she gets what she wished for, in an terrible way."
Meanwhile, Cara, 23, recently revealed she turned her back on modelling as it made her "feel a bit hollow".
She said: "It didn't make me grow at all as a human being. And I kind of forgot how young I was. I felt so old.
"I was, like, fight and flight for months. Just constantly on edge. It is a mental thing as well because if you hate yourself and your body and the way you look, it just gets worse and worse."

Ralph Fiennes: Spectre is male escapism

Ralph Fiennes thinks 'Spectre' is "male escapism".
The British actor stars as M in the new Sam Mendes-directed movie and despite its universal appeal, Raplh thinks the Bond franchise deliberately taps into a particular mindset.
He shared: "It's such a guy thing in the end! I was taken to see a Bond film with my father when I was about eight or nine, and I thought it was fantastic. But I have a sense that my mother was exasperated that I found it interesting. It's just male escapism, male fantasy. I think it's best to not take it too seriously."
And although Ralph has praised the movie's director, he freely admits that the Bond franchise over-simplifies life.
He told the Guardian newspaper: "I do like the fact Sam has tried to root it in something real and relevant, but it doesn't bear very meticulous inspection. I like the principle.
"And it felt like quite a good line to say; that a licence to kill is also a licence not to kill. But the Bond films work on dialogue that you buy into at the moment because the real world is much more complex."

Indiana Jones won’t be recast

Harrison Ford won't be replaced as Indiana Jones.
The 73-year-old Hollywood legend starred as the archaeologist in the money-spinning action-adventure franchise and Frank Marshall - the man behind the proposed 'Indiana Jones' reboot - has promised Harrison won't be recast.
He told TotalFilm: "There are a lot of rumours. We haven't even sat down to talk about Indy yet... at some point we'll sit down. But there's a bunch of people who could probably take the baton.
"[But we are] not doing the Bond thing where we're going to call somebody else Indiana Jones ... we have to figure this out."
Meanwhile, Harrison is also set to reprise another of his most iconic on-screen characters, Han Solo, in 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens'.
And his co-star in the new movie Daisy Ridley recently revealed how she offended the acting legend on the first day of filming.
She recalled: "I did say when I first met him, 'Oh my mum loves you,' and he said, 'Oh great'."
However, the 23-year-old actress also admitted she loved working with such a "cool guy".
She shared: "It is that thing, he is Harrison Ford and is such a cool guy and a really lovely person to work with."

Andrew Scott: Daniel Craig is my favourite Bond

Andrew Scott thinks Daniel Craig is the best Bond of all time.
The 39-year-old actor stars as Max Denbigh in the new Sam Mendes-directed Bond movie 'Spectre' and has revealed he considers Daniel to be the best 007 in the history of the iconic film franchise.
Andrew told Digital Spy: "Daniel Craig's been my favourite Bond since before I ever joined the gang.
"There's a melancholy edge to the character which I think is really beautiful."
Meanwhile, Daniel has revealed that despite being one of the world's biggest movie stars, he hates seeing himself on the big screen.
Speaking to Rick Edwards from London's Royal Albert Hall last night (26.10.15), Daniel was asked if he likes playing 007, to which he replied: "I hate watching myself on screen, but I love playing James Bond."
The 'Spectre' star also said he couldn't wait for the public to see the much-discussed movie, which also stars the likes of Lea Seydoux and Monica Bellucci.
Daniel - who first starred as Bond in the 2006 hit 'Casino Royale' - said: "It's fantastic to see everyone out tonight. I'm not overwhelmed I'm very excited and I can't wait for people to see the movie."

Daniel Craig: I’d love to work with Sam Mendes again

Daniel Craig is keen to work with Sam Mendes again.
The 47-year-old actor and the acclaimed director collaborated on the new Bond movie 'Spectre', and while Daniel has been unclear about whether he intends to return as 007, he's eager to work with Sam once again.
Daniel told The Sun newspaper: "I love working with Sam. I would work with him on any movie."
Sam, meanwhile, admitted to being anxious about the movie's release and said he's relieved that the film-making process is finally complete.
Speaking on the red carpet at the film's world premiere last night (26.10.15) in London, Sam shared: "I'm very proud and I'm quite nervous.
"I want people to like it, it's as simple as that really. I want people to like it as much as I do and I'm really proud of it. It was two and a half years work and we sweated blood over it and I'm really, really thrilled and a little bit relieved that we're here tonight."
Meanwhile, Daniel claimed recently that he reserves the right to change his mind about playing Bond again, after saying he'd rather "slash" his wrists than return to the role.
The actor - who first played Bond in 'Casino Royale' in 2006 - said: "I have the right to change my mind any time I want. And sometimes I say things, like I did when I was asked two days after I just finished shooting for eight months, 'Would I do another one?'"

Adrian Grenier: Hollywood is a blur between fiction and reality

Adrian Grenier thinks Hollywood is a "weird blur between fiction and reality".
The 39-year-old actor - who starred alongside Kevin Connolly and Kevin Dillon in the 'Entourage' movie based on the hit TV show, which chronicled the acting career of an A-list star - had admitted the reality of the film industry is sometimes too strange to be believable.
Asked how much of Hollywood is reflected in the show, Adrian said: "It's really a weird blur between fiction and reality. Sometimes the show is exaggerated, based on something true. And sometimes the reality is too crazy to put in the show."
What's more, Adrian claimed that the 'Entourage' cast has helped to define a generation.
Look back on his involvement with the franchise, he said: "I have a great sense of responsibility to our fans. We made a decision, a pact, to do a series. It was successful. People liked it. And you've got to take it seriously.
"We defined an era. We inspired a generation. Now there's a new generation that were too young to watch; a massive group of people that perhaps didn't have HBO or just missed the show.
"And we're committed to our commitment; the loyalty that the 'Entourage' boys have with each other, I feel for our extended entourage, which are our fans."
'Entourage' the movie is available on Blu-Ray and DVD now.

Common to star in John Wick 2

Common will star opposite Keanu Reeves in 'John Wick 2'.
The 43-year-old rap star has been cast in a villainous role in the sequel to the 2014 action hit, which saw Keanu appear as an ex-hitman who seeks to take revenge against gangsters who break into his home.
Although plot details of the new movie are being kept a closely-guarded secret, Common will be the movies' chief villain, appearing in the role of a head of security for a female crime lord, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The movie is due to begin shooting this week, with Chad Stahelski attached to direct the project.
But before its release, Common will star opposite Will Smith and Jared Leto in the eagerly-awaited 'Suicide Squad' movie.
And in a recent interview, Will revealed he never met Jared while working on 'Suicide Squad' because the actor was so immersed in his role as The Joker.
He said: "'Suicide Squad' is insane. I've never actually met Jared Leto. We worked together for six months and we've never exchanged a word outside of 'Action!' and 'Cut!' I literally have not met him yet. So, the first time I see him will be 'Hey, Jared. What's up?' He was all in on The Joker."

Dan Stevens joins Colossal

Dan Stevens will play Anne Hathaway's love interest in 'Colossal'.
The former 'Downton Abbey' actor has landed the role opposite Oscar winner Anne and Jason Sudeikis, according to Variety.
Sci-fi movie 'Colossal' tells the story of a woman who moves back to her hometown from New York after finding herself unemployed and ending a relationship and becomes connected to a giant creature that is "wreaking havoc on the city of Seoul, South Korea".
Dan will play the ex-boyfriend who tries to win her back.
Nacho Vigalondo is writing and directing the movie which is currently in production in Vancouver.
Dan was previously confirmed for the live action adaptation of 'Beauty and the Beast' in which he will play the Beast opposite Emma Watson.
The movie follows a young woman, Belle, who is pursued by two men, a cursed prince turned into a beast, and Gaston. When she chooses the beast, her spurned suitor recruits a mob to hunt down and kill his hairy rival.
The movie will also star Emma Thompson, Luke Evans and Sir Ian McKellen.
