Sienna Miller thinks it's "outrageous" men still get paid more than women.
The 'Burnt' actress has spoken out in support of Jennifer Lawrence, who recently penned an essay complaining about the pay disparity between male and female performers, to reveal she has turned down jobs because of the issue.
She shared: "I've had a similar experience. A couple of months ago I was offered a part on Broadway and I was offered less than half of what they were paying the man. And I walked away. We will have to start saying no to offers where we get paid so much less than our male counterparts."
The 33-year-old star admitted that although actresses make a lot more money than people in every day jobs, she still thinks it's important to get involved in the debate so that changes are made in every industry.
She told HELLO! magazine: "I know we get paid so much more than normal working folks, so we do need some perspective on that.
"But at the same time, we are in a position where we need to talk about it. It is outrageous to me that we live in a culture where it is this unequal."

Michelle Rodriguez is to appear as a man in her latest movie role.
The 37-year-old actress has been cast alongside Sigourney Weaver in the thriller, 'Tomboy, A Revenger's Tale', in which Michelle's on-screen character goes under the knife of a rogue surgeon who turns him into a woman.
She then sets about trying to seek revenge against the gangster who double-crossed her and instigated the drama in the first instance, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Meanwhile, Michelle - who is set to start filming early next month - revealed recently that she has ambitions of carving out an acting niche.
She said: "I just said to myself, look, 'You're going to just have to create your own archetype, doesn't matter if you go broke doing it.
"And I almost did go broke, twice! But people finally got it: 'OK, Michelle is not malleable, you're not going to influence her by shining fame and money at her,' and they stopped offering me that sort of stuff."
The actress has previously discussed being typecast as a tomboy, having consistently portrayed tough female characters.
She said: "If I decided I didn't want to be typecast tomorrow, I'd just do an indie film where I play some poor girl who goes through some excruciating experience and win myself an award for crying or being raped.
"But at the end of the day, I'm not in it for the acting. I only wanna be someone I respect or someone that I consider interesting or fun. I'm here to entertain people and make a statement about female empowerment and strength."

Bradley Cooper has thanked Gordon Ramsey for helping him prepare for 'Burnt'.
The 40-year-old actor, who stars alongside Sienna Miller in the new comedy-drama movie, said the notoriously foul-mouthed chef played an important role in his on-screen performance, which sees Bradley play an up-and-coming chef whose drug use causes him to lose his restaurant.
He told The Sun newspaper: "Gordon was invaluable. He shared so much. He was amazing."
And in a recent interview, Bradley gave an insight into the full scale of his preparations for the role.
He told Philly.com: "I am very comfortable with a knife. But that really was nothing compared to what I was able to do in 'Burnt', and the access I had, which is the joy of being an actor. You get to go into worlds that you would never dream of.
"The amount of time I got to spend with Gordon Ramsay. I got to watch him cook, I cooked with him, I got to do a service at his restaurant with Clare Smythe and her brigade, which was incredible. She's the only female chef in the U.K. with three Michelin stars. And then Marco Pierre White, I was able to pick his brain, which was invaluable.
"He was the youngest chef ever to attain three Michelin stars. And then Marcus Wareing, who was the consultant on the movie and created all the dishes, he was there every day, behind the monitor."

Kristen Stewart is in talks to join the cast of the new Lizzie Borden movie.
The 'Twilight Saga' actress is in talks to play Bridget Sullivan, the Borden's live-in maid, in the upcoming feature film which will star Chloe Sevigny as the notorious Lizzie, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Lizzie was an American woman - born in 1860 - who was tried and acquitted for the 1892 axe murders of her father and her stepmother in Fall River, Massachusetts.
Pieter Van Hees will direct the movie from a script written by Bryce Kass.
Meanwhile, Kristen recently insisted that life experience and age have helped her perform better as an actress.
Speaking about 'Equals', the sci-fi romantic drama she starred in with Nicholas Hoult, she said: "If I had done this movie at 18, I could have projected those feelings because they're inside of you when you're born. That's all of your instincts to want to couple; you have these ideals. And I think I probably would have idolised the movie and made it more ambiguous and less romantic.
"But the point of this movie is to show how deeply you can fall and how sure you can be about something and then how that grows and changes, how your ideals can be shattered but that doesn't lessen the beauty. Life is hard!"

Elizabeth Banks thinks Hollywood is reluctant to change.
The 41-year-old star - who's set to direct 'Pitch Perfect 3', after helming the second movie in the series - has become the latest big name to call for pay equality in the movie business, but she's insisted there first needs to be a desire to share power.
She said: "I find that human beings are not fond of change.
"Parity in Hollywood is going to require that those in power share a little bit of that power. And that requires a partnership with the men in our industry."
The 'Pitch Perfect' franchise has proven to be a huge commercial success and Elizabeth has claimed that such triumphs will help strengthen the case for parity.
She told PEOPLE: "I love telling small stories but I think we are in a moment where we need to convince the powers that be, the money, that we are capable of spending that money wisely and turning it around like I did with 'Pitch Perfect 2' - six times the budget of my film.
"Money talks and that changes minds really quickly."

Anthony Mackie thinks Marvel makes much better movies than DC Comics.
The 37-year-old actor stars as Falcon in the Marvel Universe and has claimed the studio's blockbuster productions are much better than those produced by their rivals, citing DC's 2013 hit 'Man of Steel' as an example.
During an interview with Collider, Anthony was asked whether he thought Marvel or DC makes better films, to which he replied: "What was the last good DC movie you saw? Exactly, Marvel."
And when the interviewer revealed himself to be a big fan of 'Man of Steel', Anthony said: "You're bananas. You're bananas. You should just email everyone you know and just ask them what they thought about the movie."
Meanwhile, Anthony is set to join a star-studded line-up in 'Captain America: Civil War', which will also feature the likes of Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr and Scarlett Johansson, as well as Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Rudd.
And Chris - the movie's main star - revealed he's keen to continue with the franchise beyond the next movie.
Chris said: "Listen, if Marvel wants me they got me. I've never had such a relationship where you have such - I mean look at my resume, I'm used to being on set being like, 'Ah is this movie gonna be terrible?'
"Marvel just can't stop making great movies, they do it in their sleep. It's wonderful directors and producers and actors and scripts, and it's like a playground as an actor."

Naomie Harris thinks it's important 'Spectre' moved "with the times".
The 39-year-old actress - who stars as Eve Moneypenny in the Sam Mendes-directed movie - has said it's important that the Bond movies keep pace with current issues.
She said: "You need the cars, the gadgets and the humour but you also have to move with the times.
"A large part of 'Spectre' is about surveillance, how much are people delving into our private lives, collating information without us knowing. That's a huge debate around the world today and it's all reflected in the film."
Naomie makes up a backstory for every character she plays, including Miss Moneypenny.
She told Radio Times: "I imagine she comes from the Home Counties, is very bright, a tomboy and much closer to her father than her mother.
"He was in the military and she wants to impress him. She was recruited by MI6 at university and the only person who knows what she does is her dad."
Meanwhile, Naomie also admitted she never thought she'd be cast in a Bond movie, in large part because of her age.
Naomie said: "I went along for a laugh. I never thought I'd get it. Bond girls have always been in their 20s, so I thought I was too old and I didn't think I had the right... assets!"
