Martin Freeman and Mackenzie Crook will not be joining Ricky Gervais in his David Brent movie.
The 'Hobbit' actor has confirmed he and the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star will not be reprising their roles as prankster Tim and nerdy Gareth from 'The Office' in the upcoming film 'Life on the Road'.
He said: "I wish it luck. I think Ricky is brilliant as David Brent, but they won't be bringing us back."
The 44-year-old star added that Ricky - who played annoying boss David in 'The Office' from 2001 to 2003 - never actually approached him to be in the movie.
He told The Sun newspaper: "I don't know about it, and I think that's for a good reason, because I've not been asked.
"And I think it's right that I've not been asked. I'm not a big fan of reunions. I don't think they're ever as good as the first one."
In addition to his decision to not include any of the original cast, Gervais has also been forced to carry on with the project without his 'The Office' co-creator Stephen Merchant.
A source said: "Ricky has every right to do a David Brent movie on his own but fans will understandably be gutted to have it confirmed that Stephen is not involved.
"Together they created one of the all-time classic TV shows with 'The Office', and all their projects as a team have been so well received."
Ricky has previously promised that 'Life on the Road' - which is set for release in August 2016 - will "peel back the layers of this extraordinary, ordinary man".

Aaron Sorkin wanted to call his Steve Jobs movie 'One More Thing'.
The 54-year-old screenwriter penned the Danny Boyle-directed movie, which stars Michael Fassbender and Kate Winslet, and Aaron has revealed he was tempted to call the movie after one of the Apple co-founder's most famous phrases.
He told CNET: "For a while I thought that would be the title of the movie, but I couldn't work a 'one more thing' into the screenplay!"
Aaron's movie has attracted criticism for its factual inaccuracies, but the screenwriter recently insisted he is comfortable with his portrayal of the Apple co-founder.
He said: "Steve Jobs did not, as far as I know, have confrontations with the same six people 40 minutes before every product launch.
"That is plainly a writer's conceit. But I do think that the movie gets at some larger truths, some more important truths than what really went on during the 40 minutes before product launches, which I don't think was the stuff of drama."
He also argued that the movie is a "fair" representation of the tech pioneer.
He said: "What you see is a dramatisation of several personal conflicts that he had in his life, and they illustrate something, they give you a picture of something. Are they fair? I do believe they're fair. My conscience is clear."

'Spectre' has broken box office records in nearly every market in which it has been released.
The Sam Mendes-directed Bond movie has taken in $80.4 million in the six territories it has been released, including becoming the biggest opening of all time in UK box office history.
Producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli said: "We're so grateful to all our James Bond fans and the British public for making 'Spectre's debut in the UK box office history!"
Meanwhile, Peter Taylor, the Managing Director Sony Pictures UK, said: "We are delighted that audiences in the UK and Ireland continue to embrace these stories about one of our biggest and best cultural icons.
"This opening proves once again, that the film world of James Bond speaks to cinema-goers like no other."
The news comes shortly after 'Spectre' star Daniel Craig admitted he'd love to work with Sam Mendes again in the future, although he stopped short of confirming he'll return to the role of James Bond.
Daniel - who first appeared as 007 in the 2006 hit 'Casino Royale' - said: "I love working with Sam. I would work with him on any movie."

Jennifer Lawrence believes her life will feel "bizarre" once 'The Hunger Games' franchise comes to a close this month.
The 25-year-old actress is about to bring her role as Katniss Everdeen to an end in the finale 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2' after portraying the warrior since 2012, and has admitted she can't believe that chapter of her life is drawing to a close after taking over her "world" for so long.
She said: "I think it will be pretty bizarre when the movie is finally out and... everything is officially done. This movie has been my life for so many years."
The blonde beauty believes she owes so much to the popular franchise because her career bolted after she pulled out her bow-and-arrow on the big screen three years ago.
She explained: "There were a few years of getting used to it, your entire world changes.
"I have a new normal now, I feel very stable and normal and happy. But the pressure... you just can't think about it."
Lawrence, who won an Oscar award for her lead role in the 2012 comedy 'Silver Linings Playbook', is also confident she's grown up since she first shot into the limelight.
She added to reporters: "I hope I've grown up."
Meanwhile, 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2', which also stars Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson, is set to hit cinema screens in the UK on November 19 and on the following day, November 20, in the US.

Sir Ian McKellen is worried memory loss will force him to quit acting.
The 76-year-old actor believes he'll eventually struggle to remember his lines and is terrified he will have no choice but to park his career because of it.
He explained: "I don't have that problem, yet. I say yet because it does seem to be inevitable. I expect that one day, because it's happened to my friends, that learning will be such a worry that I'll have to stop acting."
However, the 'X-Men' star has already started taking precautions against the natural effects of ageing by installing a small stair lift in his London home.
He added to the Times newspaper's magazine: "I don't use it but I shall use it when I need to use it."
Meanwhile, Sir Ian, who came out as gay 29 years ago after hiding it from world for most of his life, has admitted he finds fame quite "comforting."
He said: "As someone who started out life pretty shy, and who is still pretty shy, it's very comforting to be known.
"You'll walk into a room, some people come up and say hello and tell you why they're saying hello, because they liked a play or a film and I know where I am."

Ben Affleck was "surprised" to be offered the role of Batman.
The 43-year-old star has taken over the iconic role from Christian Bale, but conceded he was shocked to be asked to play the part by director Zack Synder.
He shared: "I was very sceptical when Zack came to me.
"I'm obviously older than who has historically, typically been cast ... I was surprised. I didn't exactly understand what he was going for."
However, Ben was convinced to accept the coveted role after seeing some concept art from the proposed film.
He revealed: "I got really inspired by what [Zack] was doing. If I felt we were trying to do the same thing that those guys have done before with Christian, I probably would have shied away.
"But because it's within the Batman canon, but a very different take on the character, I thought, 'Maybe it's not too soon.'"
And Ben also teased what fans can expect from the much-discussed 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' movie, in which he stars opposite Henry Cavill.
Ben told Total Film magazine: "One of the interesting things about Batman is he functions in some ways as an antagonist: you have to remember, this is Batman versus Superman.
"He's found himself in harbouring a tremendous amount of rage for Superman. So it's how he got there, and what that's done to him, and what that's done to people around like him. It's something that's interesting and new."

Dame Julie Walters "dreads" being offered a good movie role.
The 65-year-old star - who is currently busy filming the second series of 'Indian Summers' in Malaysia - only takes on parts she really wants to do, but doesn't want to spend all her time working.
She told Woman magazine: "I work a lot less than I used to. In fact, I dread something coming up that I can't say no to.
"I haven't got that desire to be working all the time.
"I am working, but that's because things have come in that I've wanted to do.
"There was something wonderful I could have done but I would have had to go to New York a month after I got back from Malaysia. It would have been wonderful but I've got to have my fill of home too."
And the 'Harry Potter' star is also keen to return to writing, though she doesn't want to pen a script.
She said: "Writing is something I enjoy, so I'd maybe like to do more of that in the future. It wouldn't be a script though.
"Victoria Wood and I keep in touch, and we've talked about stuff and loved working together, but I don't know if we'd do anything else together."

Zoe Kravitz is "very aware" that her parents' fame helped her career.
The 'Mad Max' actress - who is the daughter of singer Lenny Kravitz and actress Lisa Bonet - has insisted she knows she's had an easier path into the film industry than people without famous parents.
She told InStyle magazine: "I'm very aware that I got into a certain room, and got a reading and got an agent because of who my parents are. It's not going to be as easy for some 16-year-old girl living in Iowa as it was for me. But at the end of the day, that's not why they hired me. It made me work harder."
The 26-year-old beauty also explained that she never really thought of her parents - who divorced in 1993 - as celebrities when she was growing up.
She shared: "I wasn't really aware of their fame until I was about eight or nine years old. My parents are pretty down to earth, and I think it was important to them to not let [their fame] interfere with my development. I'm not going to say it wasn't glamorous, because I know that it was. But it was normal for me."
