Theo James: I’ve changed since the start of Divergent

Theo James has changed as a person since he started filming the 'Divergent' series.
The 31-year-old actor - who stars in the science fiction adventure film alongside the likes of Shailene Woodley and Kate Winslet - admits it has been an "evolving process" for him.
He said: "It's very much an evolving process. As an actor, you always bring part of you into anything you do, it's natural. As your own person goes through the different changes of your life, they end up informing the character you play and the mistakes you've made or the lessons you've learned.
"I think it was three years ago when I started 'Divergent'. I definitely feel like a different person from that time, so I think Four must change too."
And the action-packed stunts needed for the movie suits Theo just fine as he admits he's a bit of an adrenaline junkie and likes "blowing off the cobwebs of things".
He added to Essential Homme magazine: "I quite like blowing off the cobwebs of things. We live in a world where there are no regular levels of high threat. Sometimes I just need to be woken up."

Christian Bale: I didn’t nail it as Batman

Christian Bale thinks he "didn't quite nail it" as Batman.
The 45-year-old actor stared as The Caped Crusader in Christopher Nolan's 'The Dark Knight' trilogy but, despite being lauded by critics, he is disappointed with his depiction of the DC Comics superhero.
Christian - who is married to Sibi Blazic - told Yahoo Movies: "I didn't quite manage what I hoped I would through the trilogy. I didn't quite nail it."
Bale starred opposite the late Heath Ledger as The Joker in the second movie and he is happy to admit his co-star completely stole the show with his Best Supporting Actor Oscar-winning performance.
Remembering the Australian star - who tragically died aged 28 from an accidental overdose of prescription drugs in 2008 - Bale said: "Batman, he's this very, very dark, messed-up character. I found when I put on the suit I went, 'I just feel like a bloody idiot if I don't use this as a means to kind of (show) his true, monstrous self that he allows to come out in that moment.' Heath turned up and just kind of completely ruined all my plans. I went, 'He's so much more interesting than me and what I'm doing.' "
Although Bale is his own harshest critic, his co-star Morgan Freeman - who played Lucius Fox, the head of business development at Wayne Enterprises, in the trio of films in the film - disagrees with his appraisal of his Batman portrayal.
He recently said the actor was irreplaceable as the superhero, ahead of the release of 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' which stars Ben Affleck as Batman.
Freeman commented: "You know, I'm happy for Ben but I don't know how that's gonna work. Because 'The Dark Knight' was almost 'it'. Pretty much 'it'. Did you see 'Batman Begins'? I don't think you can beat that."

Alicia Vikander gets to work on Submergence

Oscar winner Alicia Vikander has begun work on her new film 'Submergence'.
Following her Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for 'The Danish Girl', the 27-year-old actress has begun work on her next project, which is an epic love story starring James McAvoy, 36, as the male lead.
The Swedish star headed to Europe from Los Angeles on Thursday (03.03.16) to undertake a course in deep sea diving and oceanography to prepare her the role, in which she is set to handle a deep-sea submersible, according to the Daily Mail newspaper.
In the film - which is based on J.M. Ledgard's 2011 novel of the same name - Vikander will play marine expert and bio-mathematician Danielle Flinders opposite McAvoy's James More, who she meets at a French hotel over the Christmas period and the pair embark on a four-day romance.
More is later captured by Al Qaeda fighters in Somalia while Flinders takes a voyage into the ocean off the coast of Greenland.
Shooting is set to take place in Germany, Spain, France and the UK and the movie is being directed by 'Pina' filmmaker Wim Winders, who is delighted to get the breakout star on board with McAvoy.
Speaking to Variety, he said: "I'm so excited to work with these two great young actors on 'Submergence'! It is an utterly contemporary story, thrilling and deeply moving at the same time, spanning continents and oceans, facing two big threats to our world today: climate change and terrorism. Alicia and James are the perfect cast for this once in a generation love story: highly sensitive, passionate and fiercely committed."
Before 'Submergence' hits screens next year, the brunette beauty will be seen in the next offering from the 'Jason Bourne' franchise which is set for release this summer.

Henry Cavill: Superman is tougher than Batman

Henry Cavill would chose Superman over Batman to have his back in a fight.
The 32-year-old actor reprises his role as the Man of Steel for the upcoming blockbuster movie 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' - which stars Ben Affleck as The Caped Crusader - and says he'd rather the man from Krypton helped him if he was ever caught in a sticky situation.
Henry told E! Online: "He (Superman) has all the powers and can't help but love everyone and wants to do the right thing [and] ... you know you have the right guy advising you."
Henry - who, following his first stint as the iconic superhero in 'Man of Steel' in 2013, was named Glamour magazine's Sexiest Man of the Year - thinks fans of the DC Comics won't be disappointed they see the mega-heroes facing off on screen
He added: "It's going to be epic, thrilling and visually spectacular."
However, the star revealed his most famous character's Achilles heel could be in the fact he "loves human beings" too much, which Batman uses against him.
Speaking of Superman's weakness to MTV, he teased: "[Superman] loves humanity, he loves human beings, and he doesn't want to hurt them. And so, Batman has an immediate advantage with that, and you'll see if he uses it."
Henry and Ben will don their respective capes again in the 2017 sequel 'Justice League: Part One' and the British actor is delighted to be a part of the growth of the characters.
He said about the films: "The DC cinematic universe is finally getting its chance to grow."

Liam Hemsworth aspires to make movie with brothers

Liam Hemsworth wants to make a movie with his brothers Chris and Luke.
The trio of Australian siblings have made the successful leap into Hollywood but are yet to shoot a film together, and the 'Hunger Games' actor has revealed they are determined to change that but are waiting for the "perfect" shot.
Liam - who is the youngest of Hemsworth siblings aged 26 - revealed: "We have talked about it for a long time. I don't know what the movie will be, but possibly we will only get one chance to do it. We are waiting for the perfect thing."
The hunky actor was being interviewed by his eldest brother Luke, 34, for new Hong Kong-based publication #legendmagazine and revealed he got into acting because of his older siblings - including 'Thor' star Chris, 32.
He said: "I got into acting because of yourself and our other brother, Chris, and that was why I first started doing what I am doing."
Liam is glad he followed his brothers to tinseltown because their bond has only grown stronger but says it was their upbringing in their native Australia, where their parents Leonie and Craig Hemsworth still reside, that made them such great friends.
He said: "(We share) a really close bond. I think that our whole family...that we have such great parents who brought us up with such good values. I have always looked up to my older brothers. Yeah, we are really close friends."

J.K. Rowling: Fantastic Beasts will be a trilogy

J.K Rowling has announced 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' is the first movie in a trilogy.
The author of the 'Harry Potter' series of books which became a worldwide hit when they were adapted for the big screen, has revealed that the spin-off novel-turned-film starring Eddie Redmayne is, in fact, the first of three feature length adventures.
The 50-year-old writer made the revelation on Twitter on Tuesday night (01.03.16) after a fan suggested her other Potter spin-off project, the London stage play 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child', would be adapted into a movie.
The forthcoming writer replied: "You heard wrong, I'm afraid. #CursedChild is a play. #FantasticBeasts will be 3 movies, though! (sic)"
The news is set to delight fans of Rowling and her magical franchise - which spawned six Harry Potter books that were adapted into seven films, the last being 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2' - released in 2011.
Filming for 'Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them' is also well underway and the movie is scheduled for release in November.
It is set in the 1920s and 70 years before the arrival of boy wizard Harry.
The story revolves around Newt Scamander - played by Redmayne - who is attending the Magical Congress of the United States of America following his world travels to find magical creatures.
It can be assumed the 34-year-old star is aware he is part of a franchise but it is not yet known if he has signed up to the sequels.
Meanwhile, Rowling also cleared up confusion for fans who thought that the stage play was set to be a prequel and also revealed it there will be a second offering.
She tweeted at the weekend: "#CursedChild A play in 2 parts, set #19yearslater. Will be published. Not a prequel. Not unearthly. (sic)"
