Morrissey announces UK tour

Morrissey has confirmed his first full UK tour in two years in support of his upcoming new album ‘Low in High School’.
The former Smiths frontman has announced plans to go back on the road in 2018, with dates across the UK and Ireland in support of his first record since 2014’s ‘World Peace Is None of Your Business’.
Kicking off at the BHGE Arena in Aberdeen in February, the ‘Everyday Is Like Sunday’ singer will perform shows in Glasgow, Dublin, Newcastle, Leeds, Birmingham and Brighton, before bringing the tour to an end in March with London dates at both the Royal Albert Hall and Alexandra Palace.
Fans wanting to catch Morrissey – whose new LP will be released on November 17 – will have a chance to get exclusive access to tickets to the UK dates in a pre-sale, if they pre-order the album on Amazon before 11.59pm on Sunday (29.10.17).
There will also be a 24-hour priority ticket access window from 10am on Wednesday (01.11.17).
The announcement follows news that ‘I Wish You Lonely’ has been released as a downloadable and steaming single, while fans pre-ordering his latest studio album on his official store or via iTunes will get it instantly.
To celebrate the release of ‘Low in High School’, it was previously revealed that there would be two pop-up shops offering limited edition versions of the album, including 100 test pressings on a first come, first served basis over the release weekend.
Fans in London will be wanting to head to the Provender Building, Camden Market, while Los Angeles will host its own store at 8250 Melrose Ave.
