Miranda Lambert shocked by seventh success

Miranda Lambert thinks it’s "crazy" she has won Female Vocalist of the Year seven years running.
The 32-year-old singer triumphed at the Academy of Country Music Awards (ACMs) again last night (03.04.16) but never takes the win for granted.
She told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: "It’s crazy. I’m so thankful. Every time I’m here, I just really can’t believe I get to be part of it… It’s a community that’s so important and I love it."
Miranda – who shot to fame as a finalist on ‘Nashville Star’ in 2003 – never expected to be so successful and all her achievements only drive her to work even harder.
She said: "I was hoping for one [win] at best!
"I was hoping that I would be part of it and get to collaborate with people I respected and loved and write songs that make people feel something, and that’s what I’m doing now.
"I don’t take any moment of it for granted. All it does is make me want to work harder, honestly."
After taking a break following her divorce from Blake Shelton last year, the ‘Somethin’ Bad’ singer – who was accompanied to last night’s ceremony at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas by new boyfriend Anderson East – has been working hard and is now ready to return tot he recording studio.
She said: "I’ve been off the road a little bit, so I’ve been able to kind of go into the creative mode, which is good.
"I’ve been in Nashville a lot, so I’ve really been able to write a lot with friends.
"I’m not rushing trying to get a project done, just taking my time, enjoying it, going to see live music. Just kind of being in it.
"Just getting creative. That’s what I do. That’s what I love the most."
